As shown in fig. 2, when the impurities are accumulated to a certain degree and affect the normal operation of the filter, the inlet ball valve 4 is closed, the drain ball valve 5 is opened, the fluid reversely flows into the filter cavity 10 of the filter body 1 through the fluid outlet 12 by using the medium pressure of the original fluid, and after reversely passing through the filter screen cylinder 3, the fluid flows out through the drain ball valve 5, so that the impurities in the filter screen cylinder 3 are discharged out of the Y-type filter.

The Y-shaped filter capable of backwashing and rapidly discharging sewage greatly saves sewage discharge time. For example, for a heating and ventilation pipeline, when a maintainer dredges the pipeline in the past, the plug of the Y-shaped filter needs to be detached, the filter screen is taken out and cleaned, and then the Y-shaped filter is put back, the branch pipeline is dredged for more than ten minutes, the main pipeline is dredged for more than one hour, and the plug and the filter screen cylinder of the main pipeline are heavier, so that the required time is longer.
