1. An electrically heatable laminated automotive glazing comprising a curved and toughened outer glass sheet and a also toughened thin glass inner sheet joined by a thermoplastic interlayer sheet, the glazing being configured to receive mechanical movement and/or fastening means and a portion of the outer sheet being uncovered by the thin inner sheet and the glazing being fastened in a region not covered by the thin sheet,

the glass piece includes at least one electrically heatable zone comprising:

iii) a substantially transparent conductive coating,

iv) spaced bus bars adapted to supply a voltage across the substantially transparent conductive coating,

characterised in that the spaced busbars are placed in the portion of the outer sheet not covered by the thin inner sheet.

The glass piece of claim 1, wherein the conductive coating has a conductive path defined between the bus bars, wherein at least at one of the electrically heatable zones, the conductive path changes direction within the conductive coating at least once along its length so as to double back on itself.

3. Glazing according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the outer sheet has a thickness not greater than 5 mm.

4. Glass piece according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the thickness of the thin inner sheet is not more than 1 mm.

5. Glass piece according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the thickness of the thin glass inner sheet is not less than 0.2 mm.

6. A glazing as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the thin glass inner sheet has no significant curvature before it is joined to the curved outer glass sheet.

7. A glazing as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the thin glass inner sheet is chemically toughened.

8. Glass element according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the thin glass inner sheet is coated on its side facing the interlayer sheet with a set of functional layers having non-heat conducting properties.

9. Glass piece according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the non-overlapping portions of the sheets represent not more than 20% of the area of the outer sheet.

10. Glass element as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the non-overlapping parts of the sheets represent at least 0.5% of the area of the outer sheets.

11. Glazing according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the outer sheet comprises a hole in the non-laminated portion, the hole being configured to receive means for fastening/moving the glazing.

12. A glazing as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the glazing forms a movable side window.

13. Glass piece according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the glass piece is a carrier for additional elements that require the glass piece to be processed.
