In this way, when a user performs a manual operation, various attempts to automate the manual operation by the user are underway because the experience, skill, and the like of the user affect the manual operation.

For example, patent document 1 discloses: the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus extracts the shape, position, and the like of a characteristic portion in an image by performing image recognition on a tomographic image of a target tissue, automatically specifies a doppler measurement position in the target tissue from the extracted portion, and automatically specifies the doppler measurement position from a blood flow velocity in the target tissue.

Patent document 2 discloses: the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus automatically determines the position of the ultrasonic probe for the blood vessel at the time of acquiring the ultrasonic image by performing image recognition on the acquired ultrasonic image, and automatically calculates the average inner diameter of the blood vessel from the ultrasonic image.
