Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of ink-jet printing media, in particular to a primer coating liquid suitable for printing a non-absorbent printing medium by using water-based pigment ink-jet ink, and a preparation method and application thereof.

Background

With the rapid development of the inkjet ink market, in the field of digital inkjet printing, currently used inkjet inks include solvent-based inks, UV light-curable inks, and water-based inks. With the increasing rise of environmental protection call, solvent-based ink gradually exits the market due to environmental protection problems such as high VOCs volatilization and the like; the UV photocuring ink solves the problems of high VOCs and rapid curing, but has the defects of large monomer odor and strong irritation, and small molecular photoinitiator fragments remained after curing are easy to migrate to the surface of a curing film to cause pollution; the water-based ink is safe and environment-friendly due to the fact that water is used as a solvent or a dispersing carrier, and has no pungent smell, so that the water-based ink is increasingly widely applied to the field of ink jet.

Aqueous inks can be classified into aqueous dye inks and aqueous pigment inks according to the type of colorant. Wherein, the water-based dye ink can be quickly decomposed and volatilized under the irradiation of ultraviolet light, so that the water-based dye ink is not suitable for outdoor use; the water-based pigment ink has the characteristic of good sun-proof performance, but the pigment particles cannot be well attached to a base material due to the fact that no chemical bonds are formed between the pigment particles and non-absorption printing media such as polyvinyl chloride used outdoors and the like to form strong molecular force, so that a finished product after printing is poor in friction resistance. Therefore, how to improve the printing effect of the aqueous pigment inkjet ink on the non-absorbent printing medium is one of the problems to be solved in the art.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to overcome the defects of the prior art and provide the primer coating liquid suitable for the non-absorbent printing medium printed by the water-based pigment ink-jet ink, which can effectively improve the ink absorption capacity, the color fixing performance, the binding power and the like of the water-based pigment ink on the non-absorbent printing medium such as polyvinyl chloride and the like. In addition, the invention also aims to provide a preparation method of the primer solution. Still another object of the present invention is to provide a use of the primer liquid.

According to one aspect of the invention, the primer coating liquid suitable for the non-absorbent printing medium printed by the water-based pigment ink-jet ink is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: pigment adsorbent: 10-70%, high swelling polymer: 5-15%, cationic polymer emulsion: 5-25% of a color fixing agent: 2-15%, substrate wetting agent: 0.05-1%, defoamer: 0.05-1%, bactericide: 0.1-1%, deionized water: the balance being.

The pigment adsorbent is at least one selected from nano silicon dioxide emulsion with the average particle size of 50nm-800nm, nano aluminum oxide, nano carbon dioxide, nano aluminum hydroxide, nano calcium carbonate, nano calcium chloride and cationic starch, has extremely high adsorption capacity, can effectively absorb ink drops due to fine porous particles, and simultaneously ensures that the ink drops uniformly spread on all sides to form a sharp edge; in the present invention, the pigment adsorbent is preferably a nano silica emulsion.

In the invention, a high swelling polymer and a cationic polymer emulsion are used together as a binder, wherein the high swelling polymer is selected from at least one of gelatin, polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinylpyrrolidone; the cationic polymer emulsion is at least one of cationic polyurethane resin emulsion, cationic acrylic resin emulsion and cationic ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion. In the invention, the high-swelling polymer can be matched with a nano pigment adsorbent to absorb ink drops into a polymerization layer more quickly, so that the ink is prevented from being exposed in the air, and the definition of a printed pattern is improved; the adopted cationic polymer emulsion can improve the binding power of the coating on non-absorbent printing media such as polyvinyl chloride and the like, and can chemically react with the non-absorbent printing media such as polyvinyl chloride and the like at a certain temperature to improve the binding power between the coating and a base material, and the interaction between the cationic charges in the cationic polymer emulsion and the anionic charges carried by the pigment is further favorable for the color development of pigment particles.

The color fixing agent is one or more of organic amine such as triethyl benzyl ammonium chloride, trimethyl hexadecyl ammonium hydroxide, dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium bromide and the like and ammonium salts thereof, amine-aldehyde resin dicyandiamide-formaldehyde primary condensate, polyamine polycondensate and the like; the color fixing agent can improve the bonding capacity of the coating and the printing substrate, further enhance the cationization of the coating and enable the printed pattern to be more bright.

The wetting agent is polyether modified siloxane and/or a nonionic surfactant, and specifically, in the invention, the polyether modified siloxane can adopt one or more of digao 270, digao 345 and digao 280 of digao chemical company, ECO-3270 of Dongguan Hao xing chemical industry and TP-3100 of Guangzhou green protection new material; the nonionic surfactant can be one or more of PE-100 of Kening of Germany, EASYTECH ST-502 of Shanghai Sangjing chemical industry, 500 of Digao, X-405 of Dow, Hydropalat WE 3322 of Pasteur, WA-6901 and WA-6903 of Wanjun chemical industry of Guangzhou.

The defoaming agent is an acetylene glycol defoaming agent, and can specifically adopt one or more of Surfynol DF-110D, Surfynol DF-104E, Surfynol DF-110L, Surfynol DF-420 and ZH-7001 of Hao new materials in Huangshan.

The bactericide is isothiazolinone derivative, and can be selected from F-046 of Federal fine chemical company in Guangdong, Proxel GXL of Guangzhou Daicheng chemical, CI15MV of Craine company, and BIT and MIT of Foshan blue peak adjuvant.

According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for preparing the primer solution as described above, comprising the steps of:

1) heating deionized water to 50-90 ℃, adding the high-swelling polymer in a batch amount in a stirring state, and uniformly stirring until the high-swelling polymer is dissolved, wherein the high-swelling polymer is added each time after the high-swelling polymer added in the last batch is dissolved;

2) cooling the solution in the step 1) to room temperature, sequentially adding a base material wetting agent, a bactericide, a defoaming agent and a pigment adsorbent, uniformly stirring, adding a cationic polymer emulsion and a color fixing agent, and continuously stirring until the components are uniformly mixed to obtain the coating liquid.

The present invention also provides a method of applying the coating liquid as described above to a non-absorbent printing medium, the steps of which comprise: transferring the base coating liquid onto a non-absorption printing medium by brushing, wiping, rolling, scraping, spraying, curtain coating or other modes to form a uniform coating, and then drying and curing the coating by using drying modes such as a hot roller, infrared drying, hot air drying and the like on the premise that the temperature of the surface of the non-absorption printing medium is not more than 100 ℃.

The invention also provides a non-absorbent printing medium, which comprises a substrate and a bottom coating formed on the surface of the substrate, wherein the bottom coating is formed by drying and curing the bottom coating liquid on the surface of the substrate, and the substrate can be any one of non-ink-absorbent printing media such as a PVC film, a PET film, a PP film, a PE film, a PMMA film, a PA film, a PS film, a PU film and rubber.

The finished product is obtained by printing the water-based pigment ink-jet ink commonly used in the field on the non-absorbent printing medium containing the base coat and drying. In addition, the composite material can be formed by compounding with other wear-resistant materials through a high-temperature laminating process commonly used in the field, and the sufficient adhesion between layers can be ensured.

The primer solution has the beneficial effects that the cationic polymer emulsion is used as a film forming substance, the color fixing capability of the ink and the adhesion fastness of the ink to a base material can be improved, the high-swelling polymer is beneficial to improving the resolution of a printed pattern, so that the image is clearer, and the adhesion fastness of the ink to the base material can be further improved under the combined action of the high-swelling polymer and the cationic polymer emulsion. Moreover, the color fixing agent in the primer solution is beneficial to improving the cationization of the coating, so that the color spreading capability of the water-based pigment ink on a printing medium is improved, and the color vividness is improved; the porous pigment adsorbent can improve the drying speed and the color fixing capacity of the ink on the printing medium. In addition, after the base coating liquid is applied to non-absorbent printing media such as polyvinyl chloride and the like, the printing media do not need to be pretreated during printing, and the water-based pigment ink can have good ink absorption, color fixing capability and high cohesiveness on the media.
