Urea is mixed with pH regulator and humectant, and encapsulated with suitable carrier such as water-in-oil or oil-in-water emulsion to increase its stability and efficacy. The coated emulsion can be used in products alone or in combination with other active ingredients in skin care products.

The humectant can be betaine or glycerol.

Preferably, the pH value of the urea composition is 4.5-5.5.

More preferably, the pH value of the urea composition is 5.0-5.5. For example, it may be 5.43 or 5.48.

Preferably, the pH adjusting agent is a mixture of lactic acid, potassium lactate, citric acid and potassium citrate.

Preferably, the urea composition consists of the following components in percentage by mass: 10 parts of glycerol, 3-2 parts of urea, 0.1-0.3 part of lactic acid, 0.04-0.3 part of potassium lactate, 2-5 parts of betaine, 0.2-0.5 part of sodium citrate and 0.03-0.1 part of citric acid.

The skin care formulations of the present invention may be prepared by suitable emulsification methods known in the art. The preparation method specifically comprises the following steps:

s1, cleaning and disinfecting production equipment;

s2, adding the component A into a water kettle, stirring, and properly heating until the component A is completely dissolved;

s3, adding oil-soluble components including the emollient and the emulsifier in the component B into an oil pan, stirring, and properly heating until the components are completely dissolved; adding the water-soluble component in the component B into a water kettle, and uniformly stirring the water-soluble component and the component A;

s4, adding the materials of the water boiler and the oil boiler into the main boiler at a proper temperature, and homogenizing and uniformly stirring at a proper stirring speed;

s5, adding the component C into the main pot, uniformly stirring, inspecting, filtering after being qualified, and discharging.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
