(3) and (3) placing the product obtained by mixing in the step (2) into a double-screw extruder, mixing, melting, extruding and granulating to obtain the polypropylene toughening master batch.

Background

Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic synthetic resin with excellent performance, and is a variety with the shortest development history and the fastest growth among five general thermoplastic resins. It has good comprehensive properties, such as good processing property, high tensile strength and elastic modulus, small relative density, excellent stress resistance and chemical resistance, and the like; rich raw material source, no toxicity, easy recovery, low production energy consumption, less pollution and the like, so the method is widely applied to the aspects of automobile industry, electronics, household appliances, packaging, building materials and the like. In recent years, the high-fluidity transparent polypropylene subjected to rapid thin-wall injection molding has wide application prospects in the fields of food-grade packaging, medical sanitation, household storage products and the like, but under the normal conditions, the general transparent polypropylene has poor low-temperature resistance, the embrittlement temperature is only-30 ℃ -10 ℃ (polyethylene is about-60 ℃), the impact resistance at low temperature even room temperature is poor, the polypropylene is easy to crack at low temperature, and the rigidity and toughness balance is poor, so that the application of the polypropylene is limited to a great extent.

The nucleating agent is a functional chemical auxiliary agent which can change the partial crystallization behavior of a polymer, improve the transparency, rigidity, surface gloss, impact toughness and heat distortion temperature of a product, shorten the molding cycle of the product and improve the processing and application performance of the product, and the action mechanism is as follows: in a molten state, the nucleating agent provides required crystal nuclei, and the polymer is converted from original homogeneous nucleation to heterogeneous nucleation, so that the crystallization speed is accelerated, the crystal grain structure is refined, the product rigidity is improved, the molding period is shortened, the dimensional stability of a final product is maintained, the light scattering is inhibited, the transparency and the surface gloss of the product and the physical and mechanical properties (such as rigidity and modulus) of the polymer are kept unchanged, and the processing period is shortened. The organic phosphate nucleating agent can improve the polypropylene crystallization temperature and the mechanical property to a certain extent besides improving the polypropylene transparency and toughness, but the organic phosphate nucleating agent has higher melting point which is higher than the polymer melting temperature, so that the nucleating agent has poor dispersibility in polypropylene materials and influences the toughening effect.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to overcome the defects of the prior art and provide the polypropylene toughening master batch containing the composite organic phosphate transparent nucleating agent and the preparation method thereof, which can greatly improve the toughness of polypropylene while maintaining the original rigidity, strength and transparency of the polypropylene.

According to the invention, the organic phosphate or the derivative thereof, the organic lithium compound and the inorganic oxide are compounded, and the nucleating agent with the grain size of 0.8-90.0 mu m is prepared through surface treatment and refinement, has a lower melting point and good dispersibility in the polypropylene material, improves the nucleating effect, reduces the using amount of the nucleating agent, and further improves the rigidity, the strength and the transparency of the polypropylene while toughening.

Preferably, the organophosphate or derivative thereof comprises at least one of 2, 2 '-methylenebis (4, 6-di-tert-butylphenol) phosphate, 2' -methylenebis (2, 4-di-tert-butylphenol) phosphate.

Preferably, the inorganic oxide is at least one of zinc oxide, antimony oxide and cadmium oxide, the average particle diameter of the inorganic oxide is 10.5 μm, and the bulk density is 5.05g/100 mL.

(1) weighing the raw material components according to the mass ratio;

(2) putting the raw material components into a high-speed mixer for dry mixing treatment;

(3) and (3) placing the product obtained by mixing in the step (2) into a double-screw extruder, mixing, melting, extruding and granulating to obtain the polypropylene toughening master batch.

Preferably, the mixing process parameters are as follows: the rotation speed is 1200-1800 r/min, and the time is 5-8 min.

Preferably, the twin-screw extruder is a co-rotating twin-screw extruder and the maximum stage temperature of the twin-screw extruder is 190 to 240 ℃.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:

(1) the composite organic phosphate transparent nucleating agent of the invention overcomes the problem of poor transparency and glossiness of the traditional inorganic nucleating agent, and can obviously improve the processing performance of the product.

(2) The composite organic phosphate transparent nucleating agent has good dispersibility and nucleating effect in polypropylene materials, and overcomes the problems of high melting point and poor dispersibility in polymers of organic phosphate nucleating agents.

(3) The polypropylene product modified by the composite organic phosphate transparent nucleating agent has greatly improved transparency, rigidity, surface hardness and thermal deformation temperature, and good thermal stability, and does not affect other performances of the polypropylene product under high temperature conditions.
