The board-to-board socket of claim 4, wherein said socket terminal further includes a socket bridging portion connecting said first and second socket vertical walls, said socket bridging portion covering the top end of said socket terminal slot, said peripheral wall including a front peripheral wall extending upwardly from the front end of said body base plate and forming side peripheral walls extending upwardly from both lateral sides of said body base plate, said body base plate rear end being formed with a notch along said socket wall, said metal fixing member being integrally formed on said side peripheral walls.

A board-to-board plug comprises a plug body, a plurality of plug terminals formed in the plug body and a shielding shell coated outside the plug body, wherein the plug body comprises a body base and a tail part formed at the rear end of the body base, the front end and the rear end of the body base are respectively protruded downwards to form a plug wall body and a step part, a plugging cavity is formed between the step part and the plug wall body, each plug terminal comprises a plug fixing part, a plug contact part formed by forward extension of the plug fixing part and a connecting part formed by backward extension of the plug fixing part to the tail part, and the plug terminal wall body is characterized by comprising a plug terminal wall forming the plug contact part and a plug partition wall separating the plug terminal wall, the plug contact part comprises a first plug vertical wall formed by vertical bending of the plug fixing part and formed on one side of the plugging cavity of the plug terminal wall, the overlapping thickness of the plug terminal wall and the socket contact part is larger than that of the plug partition wall.
7. A board-to-board plug according to claim 6, wherein the plug partition wall is provided with a first cut-out at the longitudinal front or/and rear side, the first cut-out reducing the thickness of the receptacle partition wall.

The board-to-board plug of claim 7, wherein said plug terminal wall is provided with plug terminal slots on a side of said cavity, said plug terminal slots extending rearwardly along said body base upper surface onto said tail portion, said first plug vertical wall being formed in said plug terminal slots of said plug terminal wall.

The board-to-board plug of claim 7, wherein said plug terminal wall is formed with plug terminal grooves at both longitudinal sides thereof, said plug terminal grooves extending rearward along an upper surface of said body base onto said tail portion, said plug terminal further comprising a second plug vertical wall formed by bending said first plug vertical wall in the opposite direction, said first and second plug vertical walls being formed in said plug terminal grooves at both front and rear sides of said plug terminal wall, respectively.
10. The board-to-board plug of claim 9, wherein said plug terminal further includes a socket bridge connecting said first and second plug vertical walls, said socket bridge overlying a top end of said plug terminal slot.

The board-to-board plug of claim 6, wherein said tail portions extend rearwardly on opposite lateral sides thereof to form mating arms, said tail portions having terminal blocks and spacer blocks for spacing said terminal blocks, said plug terminals including signal terminals and ground terminals for spacing said signal terminals, said signal terminal connecting portions extending above said terminal blocks, said ground terminal connecting portions extending rearwardly beyond said tail portions, said spacer blocks being crimped over said ground terminals.
12. A board-to-board plug according to any one of claims 6 to 11, wherein the first plug vertical wall is stamped with contact domes towards the plug space.

A board-to-board connector assembly comprises a socket and a plug spliced with the socket, wherein the socket comprises a socket body and a plurality of socket terminals formed in the socket body, the socket body comprises a body bottom plate, a peripheral wall formed by upwards extending the periphery of the body bottom plate, a socket wall formed by upwards extending the body bottom plate and a butt joint space formed between the socket wall and the peripheral wall, the socket terminals comprise socket contact parts formed on one side of the socket wall positioned at the butt joint space, the plug comprises a plug body and a plurality of plug terminals formed in the plug body, the plug body comprises a body base, the body base is downwards protruded to form a plug wall, and the plug terminals comprise plug contact parts formed on the plug wall, the plug wall body comprises a plug terminal wall for forming the plug contact part and a plug partition wall for partitioning the plug terminal wall, the socket wall body comprises a socket terminal wall for forming the socket contact part and a socket partition wall for partitioning the socket terminal wall, the plug wall body and the plug contact part are inserted into the butt joint space to be in butt joint with the socket wall body and the socket contact part, and the plug contact part and the socket contact part mutually press and electrically contact and enable the plug wall body and the socket wall body to elastically deform in the opposite direction.
