The patent document with publication number CN 2151259Y entitled "auxiliary noise reducer for automobile exhaust muffler" discloses auxiliary noise reducer for automobile exhaust muffler, which utilizes to form a cross-shaped deformation pipe to divide the airflow discharged from the engine into two parts to flow, then joins the two airflows at the position , and the sound waves of the two airflows are in the state of equal amplitude and opposite phase when joining, thus achieving the purpose of noise reduction.

In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is further described in with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

With reference to fig. 2 and 3, the box body of the muffling air inlet box of the present invention comprises a top plate 1, a bottom plate 2 and a circumferential side plate 3 connected between the top plate 1 and the bottom plate 2; the air inlet 4 is arranged on the circumferential side plate 3; a water baffle 6 and a bent guide plate 7 are arranged in the box body, and the bent guide plate 7 comprises a front guide plate 7-1 positioned on the front side of the air inlet pipeline 5, an extended guide plate 7-2 positioned on the side of the air inlet pipeline 5, a turned edge 7-3 positioned on the rear side of the air inlet pipeline 5 and a connecting folded edge 7-4 connected with the air inlet pipeline 5; the upper end of the bent guide plate 7 is connected with the top plate 1, and the lower end is connected with the bottom plate 2; the air inlet pipe 5 is arranged on the bottom plate 2, and an air inlet gap is reserved between the inlet of the air inlet pipe 5 and the top plate 1.

When the engine takes air, air enters from the air inlet 4, passes through the water baffle 6 and is divided into two parts by the bent guide plate 7, air flows reach the air inlet pipeline 5 from the front side along the front side guide plate 7-1, and another air flows reach the air inlet pipeline 5 from the rear side along the extension guide plate 7-2, the turning edge 7-3 and the connecting folding edge 7-4, and the two air flows are different by half wavelength when reaching the air inlet pipeline 5 by adjusting the length of the bent guide plate 7, so that the superposition of wave crests and wave troughs is formed, and the purpose of reducing air inlet noise is achieved as shown in figure 4.

The length of the bent guide plate in the embodiment is determined according to the length of the air inlet box and the frequency of the noise to be eliminated.
