Background

The rotational moulding process is a thermoplastic hollow moulding process, and its basic moulding principle is that resin powder raw material is firstly added into mould, then the mould is heated and continuously rotated, the resin raw material in the mould is gradually and uniformly coated and melt-adhered on the whole inner surface of the mould under the action of gravity and heat, and formed into required shape, and finally the final rotational moulding product is formed through a series of procedures of cooling, demoulding and forming, etc.

In the plastic mould processing technology, the rotational moulding forming technology is always an important position. Compared with the traditional plastic mould processing technologies such as injection, blow molding, extrusion molding and the like, the rotational molding technology has the advantages that: 1. the rotational molding die has low manufacturing cost; 2. the edge and the external corner of the rotational molding product have good strength; 3. the shape of the rotational moulding product can be very complex, and the thickness can exceed more than 5 millimeters; 4. the rotational molding process can produce fully-closed products, and is particularly suitable for forming seamless large hollow plastic products.

However, due to the specific forming principle of the rotational molding process, one obvious defect is that the product can only be used for preparing hollow or shell products. Because the rotational molding product is of a double-layer hollow structure, plastic is used as rotational molding raw material, and the size thickness and the limitation of the traditional rotational molding process are added, the strength of partial products is insufficient, the deformation resistance is poor, and the use requirement cannot be met.

In order to solve the problems of insufficient strength and poor deformation resistance of rotational molding products, the following three types of traditional improvement measures are mainly adopted.

One is as follows: and cutting the double-layer rotational molding product from the middle, dividing the double-layer rotational molding product into two single layers, manually welding a plastic rib plate on one layer, and welding the plastic rib plate with the other layer after welding. The mode of manually welding the plastic rib plates is adopted, the welding line strength is poor, the production efficiency is particularly low, the product reliability is poor, the plastic rib plates are not connected with one layer, the effect of improving the product strength is limited, most importantly, the original one-step forming surface is damaged, and the significance of rotational molding production is lost.

The second step is as follows: the product is additionally provided with the adhesion points to adhere the double layers of the product together, and the mode is mainly used for improving the local deformation of the product, and the effect of improving the strength of the product is general because the product is only in local point contact.

And thirdly: part of products improve the product strength by increasing the wall thickness of the products or using modified materials, and the effect is general and the production cost is greatly increased.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to solve the problem of insufficient strength of a rotational molding product, and further provides a rotational molding strengthening support body which is formed in a hollow cavity of the rotational molding product while the rotational molding product is formed through a rotational molding process, and a rotational molding product with the rotational molding strengthening support body. the supporting base body adopts structures such as plates, strips, rods, columns and the like made of plastics, metals or other non-metallic materials or a frame body structure formed by splicing, welding or bundling the structures such as the plates, the strips, the rods, the columns and the like;

when the supporting base body is made of metal materials, a plastic coating layer can be coated on the surface of the supporting base body in advance, and the plastic coating layer can protect the supporting base body, prevent corrosion and ensure the service life;

the number of the supporting matrixes can be set according to actual application scenes and use requirements;

the supporting base body is of a plate-shaped structure, and the plate-shaped structure can be designed in a hollow-out mode or a full-plate mode according to specific application scenes.

The rotational molding strengthening support body is synchronously molded with the product wall of the rotational molding product at one time through the rotational molding process, so that the problem of insufficient strength of the rotational molding product can be solved, and the functions of local sealing, bin and cavity division and partition addition of the product can be realized. More importantly, the deformation resistance of the product is improved, and other properties of the product are not damaged or influenced.
