Technical Field

The present invention relates to a device for sewing the edge of a fabric covering (fly), that is, a device for hemming a fabric covering, which is a fabric covering to be sewn and includes a slide fastener and a fabric covering body as a garment to which the slide fastener is attached. The hemming refers to sewing the edge of the cover main body so that the edge of the cover main body does not fray.

Background

In the case of a fly of trousers, for example, there is a fly provided with: a cloth covering main body which is rectangular as a whole and has one corner in an arc shape; and a zipper mounted to the cloth main body. As an example of a conventional hemming device for a fabric, there is a hemming device for a fabric including: a linear supply part which linearly supplies a fly as a covering cloth toward a hem part as a sewing machine; a rotation supply part which receives the fly from the linear supply part and rotates to supply the fly to the hemming part; and a hemming portion (sewing machine) for hemming the front fly while feeding the front fly.

Disclosure of Invention

However, since a cloth (cloth main body) such as a fly is soft, it is pressed by the linear supply portion and the rotary supply portion and is slightly deformed. In addition, in the above-described hemming device, when the fly is handed from the linear supply portion to the rotary supply portion, the position of the pressing fly is changed. Thus, the position of the fly may be slightly changed before and after the change of the pressed position, which may adversely affect the quality of the hem of the fly. Therefore, the above-described hemming device is not actually used. Therefore, when the fabric is conveyed for hemming, it is desirable to keep the posture of the fabric as the same as possible.

Further, although not disclosed in patent document 1, when hemming the blind, it is necessary to sew one end of the two tapes of the slide fastener together with the blind main body as desired, and not to sew the other end together with the blind main body. More specifically, the following is described below. The sewing machine is used for sewing the cloth passing under the presser foot of the sewing machine. Thus, the other (non-sewn) belt must not pass under the sewing machine presser foot together with the blind main body at the time of hemming, in other words, the other belt must pass over the sewing machine presser foot. This is because, if not, it is difficult to perform the operation of sewing the cloth covering to the pants. The work of sewing the pants means the following work: a cloth covering main body (a cloth covering main body with a belt sewn thereon) is sewn to one of two pieces of clothing of pants, and the other belt is sewn to the other piece of clothing.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and has an object to solve at least one of the above problems.

The edge sewing device of the covering cloth of the invention takes the following covering cloth as a sewing object. The cloth covering comprises the following steps: the upper zipper is superposed with a lower fabric covering body having a flange formed by joining a lateral side and a longitudinal side extending straight in a crossing direction by a curved side, the fabric covering having the longitudinal side of the fabric covering body extending in the longitudinal direction of the zipper in the same direction, and both ends of the lateral side of the fabric covering body in the extending direction of the lateral side extending beyond the zipper in both sides in the width direction of the zipper.

The selvedge sewing device for a fabric covering of the present invention includes: a table on which a fabric is placed; a material clamping device which clamps the shielding cloth in cooperation with the workbench; a sewing machine for hemming the covering cloth main body and arranged on the workbench; and a conveying device for the material clamping device, which conveys the material clamping device in a state of clamping the covering cloth through cooperating with the workbench. The conveying device for the material clamping device continuously performs conveyance for pre-hemming and conveyance for hemming, in which the material clamping device in a state of clamping the covering cloth before hemming is conveyed linearly toward the sewing machine, and in conveyance for hemming, the material clamping device in a state of clamping the covering cloth in hemming is conveyed in a manner corresponding to the shape of the edge of the covering cloth main body. The conveying of the hemming is performed by conveying the clamping device in accordance with the shape of the bent hem.

Further, the conveying for hemming by the conveying device for a material clamping device is not limited to whether or not the conveying is performed after the material clamping device is conveyed in accordance with the shape of the bent hem. However, in order to improve the quality of the hem, the following is desirable.

That is, the hemming conveyor continuously conveys the clip device in correspondence to the shape of the curved side and the shape of the longitudinal side.

In addition, the device for conveying the veils is not limited to a conveying device for the material clamping device. As a specific example of the conveying blanket, there is the following apparatus.

Namely, the sewing machine is provided with a special conveying part for conveying the covering cloth. After the conveying device for the material clamping device conveys the material clamping device in accordance with the shape of the bent edge, the special conveying part conveys the covering cloth in accordance with the shape of the longitudinal edge.

Further, it is desirable that the sandwiching device is as follows.

Namely, the material clamping device comprises: a holder that presses the fabric; and a holder driving part which makes the holder approach and separate from the upper surface of the workbench. The retainer is provided with a tape pressing portion that presses the tape of the slide fastener.

Further, when the holder presses the fabric, the holder is desirably as follows in order to stabilize the posture of the fabric.

That is, the retainer includes a stop pressing portion for pressing the stop of the slide fastener.

Further, it is desirable that the stop pressing portion is as follows.

Namely, the stop pressing part comprises: an upper pressing part which presses from above in a manner of clamping the stop code in cooperation with the workbench; and a side pressing part which presses the stop from the width direction side.

The above-described device for hemming a blind according to the present invention is a device relating to a structure in which the blind is conveyed while pressing the blind, and the following device for conveying a blind according to the present invention is a device relating to a structure in which a belt of the blind does not become an obstacle at the time of hemming.

Specifically, the device for conveying a fabric cover of the present invention includes: a table on which a fabric is placed; a sewing machine which is provided on the table and stitches a selvedge of the fabric, the sewing machine having a sewing machine presser foot which cooperates with the table to hold the fabric; a conveying device for the front of the edge sewing, which conveys the covering cloth on the worktable in front of the edge sewing to the sewing machine; a conveying device for hemming, which conveys the shielding cloth in the hemming process corresponding to the shape of the edge of the shielding cloth main body; and a belt separating device which separates one end of the longitudinal seam side of one belt of the zipper from the shielding cloth body before the seam side on the workbench to the position closer to the upper side than the sewing machine presser foot.

The specific configuration of the belt separating device is exemplified by the following 1) to 3).

1) The belt separating device includes: an insertion sheet for insertion between the cloth covering body and the belt; and an insertion sheet driving unit which moves the insertion sheet to a1 st position between the mask main body and the belt and a2 nd position away from the mask main body and the belt.

2) The belt distancing means are suction means for sucking the belt.

3) The tape separating means is a chuck means for holding the tape from above.

Effects of the invention

In the hemming device for a blind fabric according to the present invention, when the conveying for hemming and the conveying for hemming are continuously performed in a state where the blind fabric is held by the clip device, the posture of the blind fabric with respect to the clip device can be maintained in the same state as compared with a case where the conveying for hemming and the conveying for hemming are performed by separate devices, and the hemming quality of the blind fabric can be improved.

In addition, in the hemming device for a blind, when the material clamping device is continuously conveyed in accordance with the shape of the curved side and the shape of the longitudinal side by conveying for hemming by the material clamping device, the quality of the hemming of the blind can be improved in the range of the curved side portion and the longitudinal side portion.

Further, if the holder of the material clamping device in the hemming device for a blind is provided with the pressing portion, the blind can be pressed easily because the thickness of the blind to be pressed is larger than that of the device for pressing the blind main body, and the posture of the blind can be stabilized when the blind is pressed by the holder.

Further, if the holder is provided with the stop pressing portion in the hemming device for a fabric, the number of portions for pressing the fabric is increased as compared with a device for pressing the fabric only by the belt pressing portion, and the posture of the fabric can be stabilized when the fabric is pressed by the holder.

Further, if the hemming device stop code pressing portion of the fabric is provided with the upper pressing portion and the side pressing portion, the number of portions for pressing the stop code increases, and the posture of the fabric can be stabilized when pressed by the holder.

Further, in the selvedge sewing device of the blind according to the present invention, since the one end of the one tape of the slide fastener is moved away from the blind before the selvedge on the table to the upper side than the sewing machine presser foot, the one end of the one tape is passed over the sewing machine presser foot during the selvedge sewing process, and the tape does not become an obstacle when the blind is hemmed.

Detailed Description

The device for hemming a blind according to the first embodiment of the present invention uses a blind as a sewing object. As shown in fig. 1, the fabric 1 is a part of the longitudinal member 1A before becoming the sewing object. The long article 1A is formed by arranging a plurality of the fabrics 1 continuously in the longitudinal direction thereof. The shade 1 is formed by cutting the elongated member 1A at a position between the adjacent shades 1, 1.

In other words, the elongated article 1A includes the elongated fastener stringer 2A and the plurality of fabric covering bodies 3, and the plurality of fabric covering bodies 3 are stacked on the lower side of the fastener stringer 2A with respect to the fastener stringer 2A and sewn to the fastener stringer 2A at intervals in the longitudinal direction thereof.

The fastener chain 2A has a plurality of fasteners 2 arranged continuously in the longitudinal direction thereof. Then, the fastener chain 2A is cut at a position between the adjacent fasteners 2, thereby forming the fastener 2. By cutting in this manner, the slide fastener 2 and the lower cover body 3 are integrated to form the cover 1.

The slide fastener 2 is an elongated member. Therefore, the slide fastener 2 includes a longitudinal direction and a width direction orthogonal to each other in addition to the thickness direction. The length of the slide fastener in the width direction is shorter than the length of the slide fastener in the longitudinal direction.

Further, the slide fastener 2 includes: a pair of belts 4, 4 arranged to face each other in the width direction; a pair of element rows 5, 5 fixed to widthwise opposite side edge portions of the pair of belts 4, 4; a slider 6 that is guided so as to be movable relative to the pair of element rows 5, 5 and opens and closes the pair of element rows 5, 5; and a1 st stop 7 and a2 nd stop 8 that stop movement of the slider 6 at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the pair of element rows 5, 5.

One tape 4 of the pair of tapes 4, 4 is sewn by a sewing thread 4a to the main blind body 3 in the longitudinal direction of the side edge portion on the opposite side in the width direction from the opposite side edge portion, and the other tape 4 of the pair of tapes 4, 4 is not sewn to the main blind body 3 and is superposed only on the main blind body 3. Hereinafter, the band 4 sewn by the sewing thread 4a may be referred to as a sewing-side band 4, and the band 4 not sewn may be referred to as a non-sewing-side band 4.

The 1 st stop 7 is for abutting against the slider 6 when the slider 6 is moved in a direction to open the pair of element rows 5, 5. The 1 st stop 7 is fixed to the pair of belts 4, and connects the pair of belts 4, 4.

The 2 nd stop 8 is for abutting against the slider 6 when the slider 6 is moved in a direction to close the pair of element rows 5, 5. In addition, the 2 nd stop 8 is fixed to one belt 4.

In addition, the following is present for the fastener element row 5: an element row including a plurality of elements arranged in a row at intervals and fixed to the belt at opposite side edge portions of the belt in the longitudinal direction; the fastener element row is formed of a monofilament bent into a coil-shaped or zigzag-shaped monofilament and continuous with a plurality of fastener element portions corresponding to the plurality of fastener elements.

The cloth covering body 3 is a soft cloth. In the present embodiment, the cloth covering body 3 has a rectangular shape and includes two sides facing each other in one direction and two sides facing each other in the other direction. More specifically, the cloth covering body 3 is elongated and rectangular, and includes two long sides and two short sides. The cloth covering body 3 has 4 corners. As shown in fig. 2, the cloth covering body 3 is cut into a smoothly curved shape at 1 of the 4 corners before being hemmed (edge seaming).

The cut corner of the 4 corners is a corner on the side of the direction in which the sewing-side tape 4 sewn to the upper slide fastener 2 is located in the extending direction of the short side (hereinafter referred to as the short side direction), and is a corner on the side in which the 1 st stop 7 is located in the extending direction of the long side (hereinafter referred to as the long side direction). Not only the fabric main body 3 but also the sewing-side tape 4 is cut together with the fabric main body 3.

The smoothly curved shape corresponds to a locus of a circle 1/4, that is, an arc shape in the illustrated example. Although not shown, the smoothly curved shape also includes a locus of 1/4 corresponding to an ellipse, that is, an elliptical arc shape. Incidentally, the centers of the circle and the ellipse are located on the main body side of the fabric, and the tangent lines of the arc-shaped end points of the circle and the ellipse become the long sides and the short sides located on both sides thereof.

Hereinafter, terms regarding the edge of the mask main body are determined as follows. The smoothly curved shape portion is referred to as a curved side 3 b. A long side that is a tangent to one end point of the curved side 3b is referred to as a longitudinal side 3 c. The short side of the tangent line at the other end of the curved side 3b is referred to as a lateral side 3 a. Therefore, a part of the edge of the cloth covering body 3 is smoothly joined by a curved edge 3b to a lateral edge 3a and a longitudinal edge 3c extending straight in the intersecting direction, more specifically, in the orthogonal direction. The edge of the cloth covering body 3 is formed by a long side, a short side, a longitudinal side 3c, a lateral side 3a, and a curved side 3 b.

The length of the cloth covering body 3 in the longitudinal direction is shorter than the length of the slide fastener 2 in the longitudinal direction, and the length of the cloth covering body 3 in the short direction is longer than the length of the slide fastener 2 in the width direction. Since the slide fastener 2 is stacked on the middle portion in the short side direction of the cloth cover body 3, both end portions in the short side direction (extending direction of the lateral side 3a) of the cloth cover body 3 protrude beyond the slide fastener 2 to both sides in the width direction of the slide fastener 2. Further, both ends in the longitudinal direction of the slide fastener 2 project beyond the cloth covering body 3 toward both sides in the longitudinal direction of the cloth covering body 3. Incidentally, since the excess length of the 1 st stop 7 side in the longitudinal direction of the slide fastener 2 is shorter than the excess length of the 2 nd stop 8 side, one end in the longitudinal direction of the pair of tapes 4, 4 is substantially at the same position as one end in the longitudinal direction of the blanket main body 3 (one end on the lateral side 3a side) with respect to the 1 st stop 7 side. The longitudinal direction of the cloth covering body 3 (the direction in which the longitudinal side 3c extends) coincides with the longitudinal direction of the slide fastener 2. The coincidence may be a degree that can be judged to be parallel in visual observation, and is not strictly coincident.

The device for hemming the cloth 1 described above is a hemming device for a cloth according to the first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the hemming device for a blind according to the first embodiment includes: a conveyor (not shown) for the longitudinal object, which conveys the longitudinal object 1A in the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal object 1A; a cutter device 11 for cutting the conveyed longitudinal object 1A at a position between the adjacent veils 1, 1; a gripper device 12 for gripping and carrying the mask 1 cut off from the longitudinal object 1A; a table 13 on which the shade 1 conveyed by the jig device 12 is placed; a posture maintaining device 14 for maintaining the posture of the cloth 1 on the table 13 for hemming; a sewing machine 15 which performs hemming of the fabric covering body 3 and is provided on the table 13; and a conveying device 16 for the posture maintaining device, which conveys the posture maintaining device 14 together with the covering cloth 1.

The table 13 has a flat upper surface. The table 13 is L-shaped in plan view, and includes two plate portions 13a and 13b extending in orthogonal directions. A sewing machine 15 is provided at a portion where the two plate portions 13a and 13b intersect. Further, a through hole 13c penetrating in the thickness direction of the plate is formed in a portion of the table 13 where the sewing machine 15 is provided, and a part of a conveying tooth, not shown, as a conveying portion for conveying the mask 1 is disposed in the through hole 13 c. The feed dog feeds the fabric 1 in accordance with the vertical movement of a sewing needle, not shown, of the sewing machine 15.

Thereafter, the direction is determined as follows. The directions orthogonal to each other in the L shape (extending directions of the two plate portions 13a and 13 b) when the table 13 is viewed in plan are two orthogonal linear directions. One of the linear directions is defined as a front-rear direction, and the other linear direction is defined as a left-right direction. The front-rear direction is the up-down direction in fig. 1. The front direction is a lower direction in fig. 1, and the rear direction is an upper direction in fig. 1. The left-right direction is the left-right direction in fig. 1. The left direction is the left direction in fig. 1, and the right direction is the right direction in fig. 1.

The sewing machine 15 includes: a sewing machine presser foot 15a supported above the table 13 so as to be movable up and down, the sewing machine presser foot 15a pressing the scrim 1 in cooperation with the table 13; a sewing machine needle moving up and down; a conveying tooth for conveying the covering cloth 1; and a cutter 15b arranged around the sewing machine presser foot 15a in a plan view and cutting the fly 1.

The sewing machine presser foot 15a is plate-shaped. The sewing machine presser foot 15a extends in one linear direction of the orthogonal directions of the table 13 in a plan view, and extends in the left-right direction in the illustrated example. Further, one side portion (a portion on the downstream side in the direction in which the mask 1 is conveyed) 15a1 in one linear direction is a portion that presses the mask, and the other side portion (a portion on the upstream side in the direction in which the mask 1 is conveyed) 15a2 in one linear direction is a portion that guides the mask 1 to the one side portion 15a 1. The other side portion 15a2 is shaped so as to face upward as it goes toward the other side (upstream) (as it goes away from the one side portion 15a 1).

As shown in fig. 8, the conveyor 16 for the posture maintaining apparatus is a 4-axis articulated robot 16. More specifically, the articulated robot 16 includes: a fixing portion 16a fixed to a frame, not shown, disposed around the table 13; a1 st link portion 16b having one end disposed above the fixed portion 16a, the 1 st link portion 16b being supported by the fixed portion 16a so as to be rotatable about a1 st vertical axis (not shown); a2 nd link portion 16c having one end portion disposed above the other end portion of the 1 st link 16b, the 2 nd link portion 16c being supported by the 1 st link portion 16b so as to be rotatable about a2 nd vertical axis, not shown, as a fulcrum; and a rod 16d suspended from the other end of the 2 nd link portion 16c, the rod 16d being supported so as to be rotatable (rotatable) about a 3 rd axis (not shown) as a center line thereof. The articulated robot 16 includes a driving unit, not shown, for rotating the 1 st link unit 16b and the 2 nd link unit 16c about the 1 st axis and the 2 nd axis as a fulcrum, and a driving unit, not shown, for rotating the lever 16 d.

The articulated robot 16 includes a not-shown drive unit for raising and lowering, which drives the lever 16d to be raised and lowered, and the drive unit for raising and lowering raises and lowers the lever 16d by a portion that rotates about the not-shown horizontal 4 th axis as a fulcrum. The rod 16d and the driving unit for lifting constitute a part of the attitude keeping device 14 (a driving unit of the material clamping device 20 to be discussed later). Further, a main body portion of the attitude retainer 14 (a portion of the material clamping device 20 other than the driving portion) is fixed to a lower end portion of the rod 16 d.

As shown in fig. 1, the articulated robot 16 continuously performs conveyance for hemming and conveyance for hemming, and during the conveyance for hemming, the attitude keeping device 14 (the material clamping device 20) in a state of clamping the blind cloth 1 for hemming is linearly conveyed toward the sewing machine 15 (the sewing machine presser foot 15a), and during the conveyance for hemming, the attitude keeping device 14 (the material clamping device 20) in a state of clamping the blind cloth 1 for hemming is conveyed in a manner of corresponding to the shape of the edge of the blind cloth main body 3. That is, the articulated robot 16 integrates the conveyance device for before hemming and the conveyance device for hemming.

The conveyance before hemming is a linear conveyance from the rear to the front, and the end of the first stop 7 side in the longitudinal direction of the scrim 1 is conveyed to the periphery of the sewing machine presser foot 15a and to the upstream side (left side in fig. 1) of the sewing machine presser foot 15 a.

The conveying for hemming is for continuously hemming the edge portion of the covering cloth 1 in the order of the lateral side 3a, the curved side 3b, and the longitudinal side 3c according to their shapes.

The conveyance for hemming according to the shape of the lateral side 3a and the conveyance for hemming according to the shape of the longitudinal side 3c are linear conveyance and are conveyance to the left side in fig. 1.

The conveyance for hemming in accordance with the shape of the curved side 3b is conveyance in a rotational direction such that a substantially semicircular shape is drawn in a plan view.

As shown in fig. 2 to 6, the posture holding device 14 includes: a material clamping device 20 which clamps the covering cloth 1 in cooperation with the table 13; and a belt separating device 30 for separating one end of the belt 4 on the non-sewing side in the longitudinal direction, i.e., one end of the side of the seam (1 st stop side), from the fabric 1 before the seam on the table 13 at a position above the sewing machine presser foot 15 a.

The material clamping device 20 includes: a holder 21 as a body of the material clamping device, which presses the fabric 1; and a holder driving unit that moves the holder 21 toward and away from the mask 1 on the table 13 in the thickness direction (vertical direction) of the belt 4. As described above, the holder driving unit is a part of the articulated robot 16 (the rod 16d and the driving unit for raising and lowering the rod 16 d).

The holder 21 includes: two tape pressing portions 22, 22 that press the two tapes 4, 4 of the slide fastener 2, respectively; a stop pressing part 23 for pressing the 1 st stop; a holder plate 24 to which the two belt pressing portions 22, 22 and the stopper pressing portion 23 are fixed; and a coupling portion 25 that couples the holder plate 24 and the lever 16 d. The retainer 21 is provided with a coupling portion 25 on one surface side in the thickness direction of the retainer plate 24, and two belt pressing portions 22, 22 and a stopper pressing portion 23 on the other surface side in the thickness direction of the retainer plate 24. The two belt pressing portions 22 and 22 are arranged in parallel with a space therebetween, and a stopper pressing portion 23 is arranged on an extension of the space.

Hereinafter, the direction will be described with reference to an initial state in which the holder 21 presses the mask 1 on the table 13.

The connection portion 25 includes: a1 st coupling portion 25a coupled to an upper surface of the holder plate 24; a2 nd connecting portion 25b connected to a lower end portion of the rod 16 d; and a joint 25c that joins the 1 st coupling part 25a and the 2 nd coupling part 25b between the upper and lower sides of the 1 st coupling part 25a and the 2 nd coupling part 25b on the lower side.

The 1 st coupling part 25a is cylindrical in shape and has a part of the rod 16d accommodated therein and penetrating in the vertical direction.

The 2 nd coupling portion 25b is a split clamp type mechanism. The 2 nd coupling portion 25b has a C-shape in plan view, and accommodates a part of the rod 16d on the inner surface side in the diameter direction. The 2 nd connecting part 25b is provided with through holes 25d and 25e penetrating in the opposite directions to each other at both ends in the circumferential direction of the C shape. The 2 nd coupling portion 25b is formed by coupling both ends in the circumferential direction of the C-shape by the through holes 25d and 25e by a screw pair to narrow the diameter of the C-shape, thereby tightening the rod 16d on the inner surface side in the diameter direction. In the illustrated example, the screw pair is a female screw formed in one of the through holes 25e and a bolt 25f screwed into the female screw.

The joint 25C joins the circumferential intermediate portion of the C-shape in the 2 nd coupling portion 25b and the 1 st coupling portion 25a along the upper and lower sides.

The belt pressing portion 22 has a rod shape (more specifically, a square rod shape), and a surface facing the upper surface of the table 13 is a lower surface. The lower surface is a plane parallel to the upper surface of the table 13.

The holder plate 24 has a thickness direction set to a vertical direction, and a lower surface of the holder plate 24 is a surface facing an upper surface of the table 13. Further, the holder plate 24 has two orthogonal surfaces 24a and 24b when viewed from below, and a left side surface 24a as one surface is a surface parallel to the front-rear direction, and a rear surface 24b as the other surface is a surface parallel to the left-right direction. Further, the holder plate 24 includes: a front surface 24c parallel to the left-right direction and having a length shorter than that of the rear surface 24 b; and a slope 24d connecting the front face 24c and the left side face 24 a. The inclined surface 24d is a surface facing to the right side as going to the front. Therefore, the holder plate 24 has a shape in which a corner where the front surface 24c intersects with the left side surface 24a is chamfered.

The holder plate 24 has two belt pressing portions 22 and 22 fixed to the lower surface thereof in a state where the two belt pressing portions 22 and 22 are arranged in parallel. More specifically, the holder plate 24 has two belt pressing portions 22 and 22 arranged on the lower surface thereof so as to be parallel to one of the two orthogonal surfaces (left side surface 24a), and the left side surface 24a is aligned with the left side surface of 1 belt pressing portion 22 so as to be flush with the left side surface of the 1 belt pressing portion 22. The holder plate 24 has the other surface (rear surface 24b) of the two orthogonal surfaces on the lower surface thereof aligned with the rear surfaces of the two belt pressing portions 22, 22 so as to be flush with the rear surfaces of the two belt pressing portions 22, 22. The two belt pressing portions 22 and 22 have different lengths in the front-rear direction. Of the two belt pressing portions 22 and 22, the one belt pressing portion 22 aligned with the side surface of the holder plate 24 is longer in the front-rear direction than the other belt pressing portion 22, and is disposed in a state in which the front end portion thereof protrudes forward with respect to the other belt pressing portion 22.

The two belt pressing portions 22 and 22 each having a bar shape are spaced apart from each other in a direction (left-right direction) orthogonal to the direction in which the bar extends, and the gap is set so as to press the edge portion of the pair of belts 4 and 4 on the side opposite to the side edge portion (the side edge portion on which the element row 5 is located) facing each other. A stopper pressing portion 23 is fixed to a portion of the lower surface of the holder plate 24 that is spaced forward from the gap.

The stopper pressing portion 23 includes: an upper pressing portion 23a that presses from above so as to sandwich the 1 st stop 7 in cooperation with the table 13; and a side pressing portion 23b that presses the 1 st stop 7 from the width direction side (the side of the curved side 3 b).

As shown in fig. 6, the side pressing portion 23b has an L shape when viewed from the front-rear direction, and includes: a fixing piece 23b1 fixed to the lower surface of the holder plate 24; and a hanging piece 23b2 hanging downward from the left end of the fixing piece 23b1 (the right end of the fixing piece 23b1 in fig. 6 as viewed from the back).

As shown in fig. 5, the side pressing portion 23b has a non-rectangular shape when viewed from below. More specifically, the side pressing portion 23b includes: a front face 23c and a rear face 23d extending in the left-right direction and parallel to each other; a left side surface 23e and a right side surface 23f extending in the front-rear direction and parallel to each other; and a slope 23h that connects the front face 23c and the left side face 23e obliquely.

The inclined surface 23h is a surface facing to the right side as going to the front. The inclined surface 23h is formed so as to straddle both the fixed piece 23b1 and the hanging piece 23b 2. Therefore, the side pressing portion 23b has a shape in which a corner portion where the front surface 23c and the left side surface 23e intersect is chamfered. The inclined surface 23h of the side pressing portion 23b is located on the central portion side of the holder plate 24 with respect to the inclined surface 24d of the holder plate 24 and is arranged parallel to the inclined surface 24d of the holder plate 24 when viewed from below.

The upper pressing portion 23a is a rectangular parallelepiped block, and its lower surface is a flat surface parallel to the upper surface of the table 13. The lower surface of the upper pressing portion 23a is rectangular, and more specifically, the length in the front-rear direction is longer than the length in the left-right direction. In addition, the front face 23a1 of the upper pressing portion 23a is aligned with the front face 24c of the holder plate 24 so as to be flush with the front face 24c of the holder plate 24. The lower surface of the upper pressing portion 23a is located above the lower surface of the side pressing portion 23b (hanging piece 23b2), and the lower surface of the side pressing portion 23b (hanging piece 23b2) is located above the lower surface of the belt pressing portion 22.

In addition, with respect to the material of the above-described retainer 21, the belt pressing portion 22 and the upper pressing portion 23a are made of, for example, resin (desirably, resin having elasticity), and the other portions (the retainer plate 24, the coupling portion 25, and the side pressing portions 23b) are made of, for example, metal.

As shown in fig. 2 to 6, the tape separating device 30 includes: an insertion sheet 31 for insertion between the cloth 1 and the belt 4; an insertion piece driving part 32 which moves the insertion piece 31 and is fixed to the holder plate 24; and a guide 33 that movably guides the insertion piece 31 and stabilizes the moving direction of the insertion piece 31.

The guide 33 includes a guide rail 33a extending in a straight line and a moving member 33b movable along the guide rail 33 a. The moving member 33b includes a through hole 33b1 passing through the guide rail 33 a. The penetrating direction of the penetrating hole 33b1 coincides with the extending direction of the guide rail 33a, i.e., the left-right direction.

The guide rail 33a is part of the holder plate 24. That is, the holder plate 24 includes: a fixing plate portion 24p for fixing the other components (the belt pressing portion 22, the stopper pressing portion 23, the connecting portion 25) of the retainer 21 and the insertion piece driving portion 32; and a guide rail 33a projecting laterally with respect to the fixed plate portion 24 p.

The insertion piece driving unit 32 is a cylinder device, and as shown in fig. 4, includes: a cylinder housing 32a fixed to an upper surface of the holder plate 24; a piston, not shown, which is capable of reciprocating along the inner surface of the cylinder housing 32 a; and a piston rod 32b that protrudes outward from the inside of the cylinder housing 32a and is fixed to the piston. The insert piece driving portion 32 includes a block 34 fixed to the upper surface of the holder plate 24 so as to be adjacent to the cylinder housing 32 a. The cylinder housing 32a is fixed to the block 34, and thus the cylinder housing 32a is fixed to the holder plate 24.

The piston rod 32b has a moving element 33b fixed to a distal end portion thereof projecting outward from the cylinder housing 32 a. The insertion piece 31 is fixed to the moving member 33b, and the insertion piece 31 is disposed in front of the holder plate 24. The insert piece driving unit 32 linearly reciprocates the insert piece 31 in a direction (more specifically, a direction orthogonal to) intersecting with a direction of an extension of the element row pitch and in a state of being parallel to the upper surface of the table 13. One limit position in the movement range of the insert piece 31 when linearly reciprocating is a position between the non-sewing side belt 4 and the mask main body 3 in the mask 1 (more specifically, the mask 1 pressed by the material clamping device 20) placed on the table 13, and is referred to as a1 st position. The other limit position in the movement range of the insert piece 31 during the linear reciprocating motion is a position apart from the 1 st position, that is, a position apart laterally from the non-sewing side belt 4 and the fabric main body 3, and is referred to as the 2 nd position.

The insertion piece 31 extends in the left-right direction, and a right end portion as one end portion in the extending direction is a fixing portion 31a fixed to the moving member 33b, and a left end portion as the other end portion is an insertion portion 31b inserted between the non-sewing side belt 4 and the mask body 3. The top side of the insertion piece 31 is the insertion portion 31b side with respect to the fixing portion side.

The insertion portion 31b extends in the left-right direction in front of the tape pressing portion 22, more specifically, in front of the stopper pressing portion 23.

The upper surface 31b1 of the insertion portion 31b is a downward slope as it goes toward the tip. The lower surface of the insertion portion 31b is a plane parallel to the upper surface of the table 13. Therefore, the thickness of the insertion portion 31b in the vertical direction becomes gradually thinner toward the tip. As shown in fig. 6, the lower surface of the insertion piece 31 (insertion portion 31b) is lower than the lower surfaces of the belt pressing portion 22 and the moving member 33b by the gap G. The gap G is set to be slightly shorter than the thickness of the belt 4.

In addition, in the insertion portion 31b, the rear surface 31b2 on the retainer plate side is a slope that approaches the insertion piece driving portion 32 as going to the right direction, which is the projecting direction of the piston rod 32b, in a plan view.

The hemming method of the hemming device of the first embodiment includes the following steps 1) to 9). The hemming method is explained mainly based on fig. 1.

1) First, the long article 1A is conveyed in the longitudinal direction thereof by a conveying device for the long article, not shown, and is directed to the table 13.

2) Next, the cutter device 11 cuts the elongated object 1A at a position between the adjacent veils 1, 1.

3) The jig device 12 grips the mask 1 cut off from the longitudinal object 1A, conveys the mask to the table 13, and places the mask on the table 13. In detail, the patch 1 is placed on the front portion of the plate portion 13a extending in the front-rear direction in the table 13. At this time, the posture holding device 14 stands by at a position laterally and upwardly apart from the front portion of the table 13.

4) The articulated robot 16 moves the position holding device 14 onto the cloth 1 and then lowers the position holding device 14, whereby the position holding device 14 (the material clamping device 20) clamps the cloth 1 in cooperation with the table 13. At this time, the pair of belts 4, 4 of the patch 1 are pressed by the belt pressing portions 22, respectively, and thereby the patch main body 3 and the belts 4 are sandwiched between the respective belt pressing portions 22 and the table 13. Further, the cloth 1 is arranged in the following state: the 1 st stop 7 is pressed by the stop pressing portion 23, whereby the 1 st stop 7 is sandwiched between the upper pressing portion 23a and the table 13, and the 1 st stop 7 is in contact with the side pressing portion 23b on the side (the upper pressing portion 23a side). At this time, the insert piece 31 of the posture maintaining device 14 (the belt separating device 30) is placed on the mask body 3 at the 2 nd position (the initial position) separated laterally (right side in fig. 1) with respect to the non-sewing side belt 4.

5) The posture maintaining device 14 (the belt separating device 30) drives the cylinder as the insertion piece driving part 32, and as shown in fig. 7 (a) and (B), the insertion part 31B of the insertion piece 31 is inserted to the 1 st position between the mask 1 and the non-sewing side belt 4. At this time, as shown in fig. 7 (C), the longitudinal seam-side end portion of the non-sewing-side belt 4, i.e., the 1 st-stop-side end portion, is separated from the pre-seam-side blanket main body 3 to a position above the sewing machine presser foot 15 a. More specifically, the longitudinal-direction seam-side end portion of the non-sewing-side belt 4, i.e., the 1 st-stop-side end portion, is separated from the upper end of the sewing machine presser 15a (the upper end of the upstream-side portion 15a2 of the sewing machine presser 15a in the direction of conveying the blanket 1) in the width direction on the lower surface thereof to a position above the upper end of the sewing machine presser 15 a.

6) The articulated robot 16 performs conveyance before hemming. That is, the articulated robot 16 linearly feeds the attitude keeping device 14 (the material clamping device 20) in a state where the cover 1 before hemming is clamped toward the sewing machine 15. In this way, the shade 1 moves straight forward toward the intersecting portion of the L-shaped table 13, and one end of the shade 1 at the seam side, that is, the end on the 1 st butt side is disposed directly below the sewing machine presser foot 15a of the sewing machine 15. More specifically, a portion of the end portion on the 1 st stop side of the patch 1, which is disposed directly below the sewing machine presser foot 15a, is a portion of the patch main body 3 which is beyond the pair of belts 4, 4 in the width direction and is beyond the sewing-side belt 4 toward the non-sewing-side belt 4.

7) The sewing machine presser foot 15a descends to sandwich the blanket main body 3 in cooperation with the table 13.

8) The sewing machine 15 starts to be driven, and the sewing needle moves up and down. Further, the articulated robot 16 performs conveyance for hemming.

8-1) first, the multi-joint robot 16 linearly conveys the attitude keeping device 14 (the clipping device 20) in a state of clipping the welt-front patch 1 to the right side. In this way, the 1 st end of the non-sewing side belt 4 passes over the sewing machine presser foot 15a, and the cloth covering main body 3 is hemmed along the lateral side 3 a.

8-2) next, when the attitude keeping apparatus 14 in a state of sandwiching the patch 1 is viewed in plan, the articulated robot 16 moves so as to draw a substantially semicircular shape. In this way, the knife 15b near the sewing machine presser foot 15a cuts the 1 corner of the blanket body 3 together with the sewing-side belt 4, thereby forming the curved side 3b of the blanket body 3. Further, the cloth covering body 3 is hemmed along the curved hem 3b together with the sewing-side tape 4.

8-3) next, the articulated robot 16 moves the posture maintaining device 14 in a state of holding the mask 1 straight to the right side. In this way, the cloth covering body 3 is hemmed along the longitudinal sides 3 c. Further, reference numeral 4b in fig. 1 is a stitched line after being hemmed.

9) The vertical movement of the sewing needle is stopped, the sewing presser foot 15a is raised, the articulated robot 16 returns to the initial position after raising the attitude keeping device 14, and the insert piece 31 is returned to the 2 nd position as the initial position by driving the insert piece driving part of the belt separating device 30. The above steps 1) to 9) are repeated, and the fabric 1 is hemmed one by one.

The hemming device of the first embodiment described above has the following effects.

Since the hemming device of the first embodiment continuously performs the conveyance for hemming and the conveyance for hemming while holding the fabric 1 by the clip device 20, the position of the fabric 1 with respect to the clip device 20 can be maintained in the same state as compared with a hemming device that performs the conveyance for hemming and the conveyance for hemming by separate devices, and the hemming quality of the fabric 1 can be improved.

In the hemming device of the first embodiment, since the hemming conveyance by the clip device 20 continuously conveys the clip device 20 in accordance with the respective shapes of the lateral side 3a, the curved side 3b, and the longitudinal side 3c, the hemming quality of the cover 1 can be improved in the hemming range (the range of the lateral side 3a, the curved side 3b, and the longitudinal side 3 c).

In the hemming device of the first embodiment, since the holder 21 of the clip device 20 presses the belt 4 by the belt pressing portion 22, the pressing portion of the fabric 1 is thicker than the hemming device that presses the fabric main body 3, and therefore the pressing is easy, and the posture of the fabric 1 can be stabilized when the pressing is performed by the holder 21. Further, in the hemming device of the first embodiment, since the fabric 1 is pressed at the two belts 4, 4 by the pair of belt pressing portions 22, the posture of the fabric 1 can be stabilized when pressed by the holder 21, as compared with the hemming device in which the fabric is pressed by the 1-belt pressing portion. Incidentally, the portion of the clamping device 20 that presses the pair of tapes 4, 4 is the side of the pair of element rows 5, 5 in the longitudinal direction thereof.

In the hemming device according to the first embodiment, since the retainer 21 includes the stop pressing portion 23, the number of portions for pressing the fabric 1 is increased compared to a hemming device in which the fabric is pressed only by the belt pressing portion 22, and the posture of the fabric 1 can be stabilized when the fabric is pressed by the retainer 21.

In the hemming device of the first embodiment, since the stop pressing portion 23 includes the upper pressing portion 23a and the side pressing portion 23b, the number of portions pressing the 1 st stop 7 is increased, and the position of the fabric 1 can be stabilized when pressed by the holder 21. When the articulated robot 16 performs a substantially semicircular rotational motion to sew the curved side 3b, the side pressing portion 23b is disposed radially outward of the rotational motion, and the 1 st stop 7 moves radially outward of the rotational motion due to a centrifugal force. However, the movement of the side pressing portion 23b is prevented, and therefore, the position of the patch 1 during sewing can be stabilized.

Further, since the hemming device according to embodiment 1 has a shape in which the holder plate 24 and the upper pressing portion 23a are chamfered, the holder plate 24 and the upper pressing portion 23a are less likely to contact the sewing machine presser foot 15a during the rotational movement.

Further, the hemming device of the first embodiment includes the belt separating device 30, and the belt separating device 30 separates the end portion of the 1 st end side of the non-sewing side belt 4 from the mask 1 before hemming on the table 13 to a position above the sewing machine presser foot 15a, so that the end portion of the non-sewing side belt 4 is passed over the sewing machine presser foot 15a during hemming, and it is sufficient not to sew the non-sewing side belt 4 when hemming the mask 1, and the non-sewing side belt 4 does not become an obstacle. Incidentally, when the fabric 1 is pressed by the fabric clamping device 20, the end portion on the 1 st stop side in the longitudinal direction of the non-sewing side belt 4 is not pressed by the belt pressing portion 22 and the stop pressing portion 23 and can be freely displaced in the thickness direction (vertical direction) of the belt 4, and therefore, can be displaced upward by the belt separating device 30.

In the hemming device of the first embodiment, the lower surface of the insertion piece 31 (insertion portion 31b) is lower than the lower surface of the belt pressing portion 22, and therefore the insertion portion 31b is easily inserted between the non-sewing side belt 4 and the blind main body 3.

In the hemming device of the first embodiment, the attitude keeping device 14 includes the material clamping device 20 and the belt separating device 30, and therefore conveyance before hemming and conveyance for hemming can be performed at the same time.

The hemming device according to the second and third embodiments of the present invention is different from the hemming device according to the first embodiment in the posture maintaining device. More specifically, the attitude keeping device 14 according to the first embodiment is formed by integrating the tape separating device 30 and the material clamping device 20, but the attitude keeping devices according to the second and third embodiments are formed by separating the tape keeping device and the material clamping device, respectively.

In fig. 9, for example, the belt distancing means 30A of the hemming device of the second embodiment is shown. The tape separating device 30A is a suction device that sucks the tape 4 from above the table. More specifically, the tape separating device 30A includes a tube 35 for sucking the non-sewing side tape 4 from the distal end thereof, and a blower, not shown, connected to the other end of the tube 35. The blower is used for discharging air sucked from the tube side to the outside. The hemming device of the second embodiment includes a dedicated conveying device for conveying the tube 35 of the belt separating device 30A before hemming and conveying the hemming together with the material clamping device.

Fig. 10 shows a belt separating device 30B according to a third embodiment. The tape separating device 30B is a chuck device that grips the tape 4 from above. More specifically, the belt separating device 30B includes: a pair of claw portions 36, 36 arranged above the table 13 and pinching the non-sewing side belt 4 by their lower end portions; a support portion 37 that openably and closably supports the pair of claw portions 36, 36 at the upper end portions thereof; and a driving unit, not shown, for opening and closing the pair of claw portions 36, 36. The hemming device of the third embodiment also includes a dedicated conveying device for conveying the belt separating device 30B before hemming and conveying it for hemming together with the material clamping device.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be appropriately modified within a scope not departing from the gist thereof. For example, the cover body 3 as the sewing object is not limited to a cover body in which the longitudinal side 3c and the lateral side 3a extend in orthogonal directions, and may be a cover body extending in a crossing direction. Further, the sides (long sides) of the cloth covering body 3 that face the longitudinal sides 3c in the width direction may not be parallel to the longitudinal sides 3 c. Similarly, the side (short side) of the cloth covering body 3 which faces the lateral side 3a in the longitudinal direction may not be parallel to the lateral side 3 a.

Further, although the conveying device for the attitude keeping device is the articulated robot 16 in the above embodiment, the present invention is not limited to this, and may be a device including, for example, a rail disposed around the table and a driving device for driving the attitude keeping device along the rail.

In the above embodiment, the articulated robot 16 performs the conveying for hemming, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the conveying may be performed by a conveying tooth, not shown, of the sewing machine 15. In this case, the conveying teeth serve as a dedicated conveying portion for conveying the blanket 1. When the tooth carries the cloth 1, the articulated robot 16 separates the posture maintaining device 14 from the cloth 1.
