7. The sharpener blade holder of claim 2 wherein said guide slot is aligned with the through-hole of the push rod on the rear adapter.

8. The sharpener blade holder of claim 4 wherein said support member has a height above the plane of 1-4 mm.

9. A sharpener mechanism comprising a sharpener holder and roller cutter as claimed in any one of claims 1-8.

10. A pencil sharpener comprising the pencil sharpening mechanism of claim 9.

The pencil sharpener can safely and quickly sharpen pencils, and becomes a necessary tool for students to write and study.

Detailed Description

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the description is illustrative only, and is not to be construed as limiting the scope of the invention.

It should be noted that: like reference numerals refer to like items in the following figures, and thus, once an item is defined in one figure, it may not be further defined and explained in subsequent figures.

The pencil sharpener 100 comprises a pencil sharpener body 101, a rocking handle assembly 102 and a pencil sharpening mechanism 200; the pencil sharpener 200 includes a pencil sharpener blade holder 10 and a hob cutter 20. Preferably, a drawer-type shavings receiving groove 103 is installed at the bottom of the sharpener body 101.

The front side surface of the shell of the pencil sharpener main body 101 is provided with a pencil feeding hole which is communicated with a pencil supporting channel 01 on the sharpener tool rest 10. The upper portion of the pencil sharpener body 101 includes a cavity for receiving the pencil sharpening mechanism 200, and the lower portion of the pencil sharpener body 101 is provided with a shavings receiving slot 103.

The sharpener holder 10 comprises a front coupling part 11, a rear coupling part 12 and a cutting part 13 for mounting a hob 20, wherein the cutting part 13 comprises a convex pencil supporting channel 01 for inserting a pencil and a push rod moving area 02 at the rear end of the pencil supporting channel 01, and a support part 30 for supporting the lower part of the push rod 40 is arranged in the push rod moving area 02.

The upper side of the cutting part 13 on the penknife rest 10 is provided with a hob cutter 20. When a pencil to be cut is inserted into the pencil supporting passage 01, the handle assembly 102 is rotated to drive the roller block 50 so that the roller cutter 20 is rotated.

The push rod moving area 02 comprises a flat meter 03, and the supporting part 03 protrudes from the flat meter 03; and it is preferable that the supporting member 30 in the present embodiment is formed integrally with the cutting portion 13 by aluminum die-casting.

More specifically, the upper surface of the support member 30 is provided with a guide groove 31 for receiving the push rod 40, and the guide groove 31 guides the push rod 40 to extend and contract in a predetermined direction.

What needs to be explained in detail here is the mechanism of action of the push rod 40, specifically: in order to cut the pencil in a rough or fine manner, the pencil sharpener needs to adopt a push rod 40 to move back and forth so as to limit the tip part of the pencil; when the push rod 40 is used for limiting the pencil lead head forward, the cut pencil lead is thick, and when the push rod 40 is used for limiting the pencil lead head backward, the cut pencil lead is thin.

For controlling the push rod 40 to move back and forth, it should be further explained that the thickness adjusting mechanism includes the push rod 40 and an operating part, the operating part includes a rotating body N and a control end part, and the push rod 40 is located at the rear end of the sharpener 10 and can move axially with limited amplitude. The control end portion includes a low gear position and a high gear position with different heights, and the front end of the control end portion is fixedly connected with the tail end of the push rod 40, and preferably, the control end portion and the tail end of the push rod are integrally formed.

The rotating body N is provided with a top contact end matched with a low gear and a high gear, and a return spring sleeved on the push rod 40 is propped between the inner wall of the pencil sharpener tool rest 10 and the control end part.

When the top contact end on the rotating body N is positioned at the low gear of the control end part, the pencil lead cut by the pencil sharpener is thinner; when the top contact end on the rotating body N is positioned at the high gear of the control end part, the pencil lead cut by the pencil sharpener is thicker. Thereby realizing the adjustment of the thickness of the pencil.

Preferably, the knob Y is sleeved on the rear section area of the rotor N, and the knob Y penetrates through the through hole of the rocking handle assembly 102 and penetrates out of the rocking handle assembly 102, so that the knob Y can be rotated conveniently, and the rotation of the rocking handle assembly 102 cannot be influenced. The user rotates the knob Y to rotate the rotator N to control the forward and backward movement of the push rod 40.

The cross section of the guide groove 31 matches the cross section of the push rod 40, and may have a square structure or a circular structure. The guide slot 31 is aligned with the push rod through hole 05 in the rear axle socket 04. In practical application, the push rod 40 is inserted into the guide groove 31 through the push rod through hole 05.

The cutting portion 13 in this embodiment further includes a rear shaft seat 04 for coupling the hob 20, and the supporting member 30 abuts against the rear shaft seat 04, or the supporting member 30 is spaced from the rear shaft seat 04. When the push rod 40 is long, the support member 30 may be disposed to keep a certain distance from the rear shaft socket 04 to ensure that the front end of the support member 30 is supported by the support member 30.

In practice, the height of the support member 30 protruding from the plane 03 may be preferably 1-4 mm.

When in use, a pencil is inserted from the pencil supporting channel, the push rod 40 passes through the push rod through hole 05 and is arranged in the guide groove 31 on the supporting part 30, and the front end surface of the push rod 40 is aligned with the pencil lead; at this time, the front end or a partial region of the push rod 40 is supported by the support member 30 to prevent the front end of the push rod 40 from sagging and deforming under the action of gravity, thereby ensuring thickness adjustment during pencil sharpening and reducing core breakage.
