2. Use according to claim 1, wherein the magnesium sulphate particles have a magnesium content of at least 20 wt%, calculated as MgO and based on the total weight of the particles.

3. Use according to claim 1 or 2, wherein at least 90% by weight of the magnesium sulphate in the magnesium sulphate particles is in the form of magnesium sulphate monohydrate.

4. Use as claimed in any one of the preceding claims wherein at least 90% by weight of the magnesium sulphate particles have a particle size of 2-5 mm.

5. Use according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein magnesium sulphateThe particles comprise at least 90 wt% MgSO4Based on the composition of the particles other than water.

6. Use according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the magnesium sulphate particles comprise at least 90 wt% of synthetic magnesium sulphate hydrate, based on the total mass of the magnesium sulphate particles.

7. Use according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the weight ratio of magnesium sulfate particles to urea in the urea-containing fertilizer composition is from 2:1 to 1: 10.

8. Use according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the urea in the urea-containing fertilizer composition is in the form of granulated or granulated urea.

9. Use as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the urea-containing fertilizer composition comprises at least 60 wt% of a mixture of magnesium sulphate particles and urea, based on the total mass of the fertilizer composition.

10. A solid, free-flowing form of a fertiliser composition comprising magnesium sulphate particles as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 6 and urea in solid form.

11. A fertiliser composition as claimed in claim 10 comprising at least 60 wt% of a mixture of magnesium sulphate particles as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 6 and urea, based on the total mass of the fertiliser composition.

12. A fertiliser composition as claimed in claim 10 or 11 wherein the weight ratio of magnesium sulphate particles to urea is from 2:1 to 1: 10.

13. The fertilizer composition of any one of claims 10-12, wherein urea is in the form of granulated or granular urea.

14. A method of producing a solid, free-flowing fertiliser composition as claimed in any of claims 10 to 13 comprising mixing magnesium sulphate particles as claimed in any of claims 1 to 6 with urea in solid form, especially urea prill or urea in the form of urea granules.
