According to the novel gate valve, screw transmission can be adopted in a transmission mechanism component to replace chain transmission, the number of the spring mechanisms 12 and the number of the connecting rod mechanisms 13 arranged on the valve plate component 10 can change along with the difference of the calibers of the valves, the number of the guide wheel assemblies 9 arranged on the main valve body 1 and the auxiliary valve body 2 can change along with the difference of the calibers of the valves, and the change of the design structures is within the range of patent protection.
