Background

PC, also known as polycarbonate, is rapidly being developed for its excellent combination of properties and outstanding physical, mechanical, and thermal properties. At present, the forming machine for manufacturing PC sheets on the market can only produce PC sheets with the maximum width of about 1500mm, and a single-machine extrusion forming machine can meet the production requirements. Along with the development of society, people have higher and higher demand on ultra-wide PC sheets, but because the raw materials for manufacturing the PC sheets have poor flowability, are not easy to form and are easy to carbonize, the time for feeding the raw materials from a mould to a forming roller can be shortened by ensuring enough extrusion capacity of the PC raw materials, and if the existing single-machine extrusion molding machine is adopted, the extrusion capacity required by the ultra-wide PC sheets with the width of more than 3000mm and even more than 5000mm can not be met obviously. Moreover, the mixing requirement of the PC sheet on the raw materials is very high, and if the raw materials entering the die are not mixed uniformly, grains are easy to appear on the surface of the PC sheet, the quality of the sheet is affected, and even the sheet is scrapped, so that economic loss is brought to enterprises. Therefore, there is a great need for an extrusion molding system that can be used to produce ultra-wide PC sheets.

The extrusion die is a clothes hanger type inner flow passage, the clothes hanger type inner flow passage can enable materials to keep stable flow velocity, the amount of the materials in each flow passage is uniformly distributed, and therefore the materials are extruded into sheets with uniform thickness by the extrusion die.
