Background

The raw materials for producing linear metal products are mostly drawn by wire rods, the quality of the produced wire rod reaches about 2 tons, and the materials are shipped and transported by ships and vehicles and are generally stored in a separate raw material warehouse after being transported to a buyer enterprise. When the production needs the wire rod, need to go out of the warehouse and transport production facility department, consequently need the transport means between wire rod to production facility, most of manufacturing enterprises use fork truck and truck to transport according to the distance far and near at present, and the transport is directly got by fork truck to the nearer distance, and the distance needs fork truck and truck cooperation transportation far away, is accomplished by the cooperation of two people. Other transportation modes are hoisting by a crane and a traveling crane, but the mode is not suitable for long-distance transportation and has certain requirements on space.

The transportation of the forklift and the truck is a conventional transportation mode in a factory at present, two persons are required to cooperate with one person to drive the forklift and one person to drive the truck for cooperation operation, and the labor cost is wasted. The transportation oil consumption is high, the transportation cost is further increased along with the rising of the oil price, and in order to reduce the transportation cost and realize automatic transportation, a new transportation method needs to be introduced and an automatic transportation device needs to be developed.
