Because the manufacturing process of the special-shaped kettle needs unique procedures and moulds, particularly a water expansion procedure, the traditional water expansion mould applicable to the cylindrical kettle cannot be directly applicable to the special-shaped kettle.

The water injection core rod and the circular water sealing rib are commonly used in a water expansion die of a conventional kettle, the water injection core rod is used for extending into a kettle blank to inject water, and the circular water sealing rib needs to be attached to a port of a kettle inner container to perform water sealing treatment. However, the water expansion process has the defects in the preparation of the special-shaped kettle:

(1) the water injection core rod suitable for the special-shaped kettle is complex to manufacture, and the inner wall is easy to form scratches in the process that the water injection core rod extends into the kettle blank;

(2) the water expansion die with the port for sealing water is adopted in the conventional kettle, namely the shapes of the sealing element and the kettle port are kept consistent, so that the sealing element is attached to the kettle blank port, and the water sealing effect is achieved. But for the irregular kettle with an irregular port, the sealing is difficult, and the main reason is that the conventional water sealing piece is difficult to be attached to the shape of the port of the irregular kettle blank, so that the requirement on the shape of the water sealing tendon is very high, and the water sealing effect is difficult to ensure.
