Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of printing, in particular to application of a mixed diluent in printing ink.

Background

In the use process, according to different printing patterns and different production speeds and according to actual printing conditions, staff add the diluents of n-propanol and ethyl acetate to control the quality of printed products, and the ethanol is automatically added by a centralized ink supply system of the equipment according to set viscosity to ensure that the viscosity of the ink is in a set range. Since both n-propanol and ethyl acetate were added by hand, there was instability in the amount and frequency of addition. Therefore, the problem of poor printing such as dry plate due to excessively low printing volatilization speed caused by excessively adding n-propanol and reverse sticking caused by excessively adding ethyl acetate is caused. And a portion of the ethyl acetate must be added to further improve the ink-dissolving capacity of the n-propanol. Moreover, the printing effect is poor due to the fact that the diluent is accidentally forgotten to be added regularly, and the product is scrapped.

Disclosure of Invention

Based on this, the object of the present invention is to overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a use of a mixed diluent in printing inks.

In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows: use of a mixing diluent in a printing ink, the mixing diluent comprising the following components: ethanol and ethoxypropanol. Aiming at the problems of poor printing effect and the like caused by the addition of a diluent in a factory at present, the inventor of the application finds that ethanol and ethoxypropanol which are used as mixed diluents can be automatically added by a centralized ink supply system of equipment according to set viscosity in the actual operation process of the factory and a large number of creative tests, and the mixed diluents matched with the ethanol and the ethoxypropanol have normal pattern appearance of a final printed product and solve the problem of high printing cost caused by the diluents.

Preferably, when the printing speed is 350-: ethanol: ethoxypropanol ═ (76-82): (18-24). When the current equipment is normally produced, the printing and drying temperature is basically about 50-55 ℃, and according to the difference of products, two different ranges of printing speed exist: 350-400m/min and 700-750m/min, namely, mixed diluents with different proportions need to be configured for printing production according to different production speeds. The inventor of the application finds that ethanol and ethoxypropanol serving as mixed diluents have normal printing effect and better drying effect within the weight ratio range in the actual operation process and a large number of creative tests of a factory.

Further preferably, when the printing speed is 350-400m/min, the weight ratio of the ethanol to the ethoxypropanol is: ethanol: ethoxypropanol ═ (78-80): (20-22). The inventor of the application finds that ethanol and ethoxypropanol as the mixed diluent have normal drying overall, optimal printing effect and no appearance quality problem within the weight ratio range in the actual operation process and a large number of creative tests of a factory.

Preferably, when the printing speed is 700-: ethanol: ethoxypropanol ═ (84-90): (10-16). The inventor of the present application finds that in the actual operation process of a factory and a large number of creative tests, when the printing speed is 700-750m/min, the inventor of the present application finds that in the actual operation process of the factory and a large number of creative tests, ethanol and ethoxypropanol are used as mixed diluents, and within the weight ratio range, the whole drying is normal, and the printing effect is good.

Further preferably, when the printing speed is 700-750m/min, the weight ratio of the ethanol to the ethoxypropanol is: ethanol: ethoxypropanol ═ (86-87): (13-14). The inventor of the application finds that in the actual operation process of a factory and a large number of creative tests, when the printing speed is 700-750m/min, the ethanol and the ethoxypropanol are used as the mixed diluents, the whole drying is normal, the printing effect is optimal and no appearance quality problem exists within the weight ratio range.

Preferably, the mixed diluent is automatically added by a centralized ink supply system of the printing equipment according to a set viscosity. The viscosity automatic control is a self-contained function of equipment, a viscosity signal is collected through the load of a pneumatic diaphragm pump, then a standard value is set, a signal for adding and stopping adding a solvent is sent, when the viscosity rises, the load of the diaphragm pump is increased, the frequency of a signal generated by an exhaust device and a contact switch is reduced, an electromagnetic valve signal for the solvent is opened, a pipeline starts to add the solvent to dilute ink, when the viscosity drops, the load of the diaphragm pump is reduced, the frequency of a signal generated by the exhaust device and a signal generated by a release switch is increased, an electromagnetic valve closing signal is sent, and the supply of the solvent is stopped.

The invention also provides a preparation method of the mixed diluent, which comprises the following steps: and weighing the ethanol and the ethoxypropanol according to the proportion, and uniformly mixing the ethanol and the ethoxypropanol to obtain the mixed diluent.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that: (1) the operation of staff is standardized and simplified, and the problem of printing quality caused by manual operation is avoided; (2) only two different diluents are mixed to form a diluent with a specific ratio, and the diluent is added by the printing ink viscosity sensing device during high-speed operation without additional control.

TABLE 2 selection of Components and parts by weight for specific comparative examples 1-8

Test example 1 drying effect test

The test process comprises the following steps: using the process yellow test, the same amount of diluent was added separately, and then the length of the ink sample completed upon drying was taken on the substrate (breathable film) using a 300L squeegee;

and (3) test results: as shown in table 3 below;

table 3 drying effect test results

As can be seen from table 3 above, different drying lengths can be obtained according to different formulations; at the speed of 368m/min, the existing normal use formula is comparison 4, the drying length is 61mm, and the implementation 1-4 fluctuates up and down on the drying length; at a speed of 720m/min, a formulation is now normally used for comparison 8, the drying length being 50mm, while the runs 5-8 fluctuate up and down this drying length. The mixed diluent provided by the embodiment of the invention can achieve the drying effect of the common diluents (manually added) of comparative examples 4 and 8 in the current factory, can be automatically added by sensing the viscosity of the printing ink through equipment, does not need to be additionally controlled, greatly saves labor and improves the accuracy. The drying lengths of comparative examples 1 to 3 and comparative examples 5 to 6 were too long or too short to achieve a good drying effect.

Test example 2 test of printing Effect

The test process comprises the following steps: the printing resin plate (containing the screen and the solid pattern) was arbitrarily selected and set at speeds of 368m/min and 720m/min, respectively, according to normal operation. Printing on a machine by using 4 colors of red, yellow, blue and black, and observing a printing effect test;

and (3) test results: as shown in table 4 below;

table 4 print effect test results

As can be seen from Table 4 above, the printing performance is better when the printing is carried out at 350m/min for 3-4, and the printing effect is general when the printing is carried out for 1-2; the printing performance is better when the printing is carried out at 350m/min by implementing 7-8, and the printing effect is general when the printing is carried out at 5-6; in addition to comparative examples 4 and 8, the printing results of the comparative examples are significantly different from those of the examples.

According to the result, the comparison group is removed, mixed diluents with different proportions are prepared, and small-batch printing production is carried out at two different speeds; 350-400m/min, respectively preparing four mixed solvents with the ethoxy propanol ratio of 18%, 20%, 22% and 24%, respectively carrying out 1T small-batch order, and displaying the results: implementation 1: 18% mixed diluent: drying is slightly too fast, the printing effect meets the requirement, but poor printing and plate blocking occur in places with large printing area; implementation 4: 20% mixed diluent: normal without quality problems; implementation 3: 22% mixed diluent: normal without quality problems; implementation 2: 24% mixed diluent: the drying is overall normal, the printing effect meets the requirement, but the problem of unreal printing occurs in the printing area on the spot, and the volatilization speed is slightly slow; namely, at the speed of 350-400m/min, the initial mixing ratio of 20-22% can be used for normal production.

At the speed of 700 + 750m/min, four mixed solvents with the ethoxy propanol accounting for 10%, 12%, 14% and 16% are respectively prepared, and a 1T small-batch order is respectively carried out, and the result shows that: implementation 6: 10% mixed diluent: the drying is slightly too fast, the conditions of poor printing at places with large printing area and plate blockage at places with small and large printing dots are generated; implementation 7: 12% mixed diluent: the whole is normal, and the plate is slightly blocked and is not obvious; implementation 8: 14% mixed diluent: normal without quality problems; implementation 5: 16% mixed diluent: the whole drying is normal, when the printing is carried out to the last 3000m, the problem of ink accumulation is found, and the drying is slow; that is, at a speed of 700 and 750m/min, the initial mixing ratio of about 13-14% can be used for normal production.

Then, testing is carried out according to the batch (more than 10T) order, and the conclusion is finally obtained: the optimal proportion of the ethoxy propanol in the mixed solvent is as follows: 350-400m/min 20% -22%; 700-750m/min 13% -14%.
