The working principle is as follows: when the centrifugal fan is used, the centrifugal fan is arranged in the converter and fixed on a converter cabinet door, when an outer rotor motor is started, an outer rotor rotates, a centrifugal blade rotates, air is sucked from an air inlet of the converter cabinet door and then is sucked into an inner cavity of the outer cover after being primarily filtered by a filter plate, when foreign matters in the air are contacted with the centrifugal blade, the foreign matters are adsorbed on the centrifugal blade due to the fact that the centrifugal blade is in a high-speed rotating state in the working process, and when the centrifugal blade passes through a dust removing hole, the foreign matters on the centrifugal blade are thrown out of the outer cover through the dust removing hole under the action of centrifugal force, so that the effect of cooling air dust removal of the converter is achieved, and the air after dust removal is discharged to the outer cover in the converter through the air vent hole to dissipate heat of low-power electric elements in the converter; meanwhile, the dust collecting box collects the foreign matters thrown out from the dust removing holes in a centralized manner so as to avoid polluting other parts in the converter, and after the dust collecting box is used for a period of time, the foreign matters in the dust collecting box need to be treated in a centralized manner at regular intervals.

The beneficial effects produced by the invention are as follows:

1) under the condition that the external environment of the converter is not changed, the air inlet quantity of the converter is increased, and the internal heat dissipation efficiency of the converter is effectively improved;

2) foreign matters such as dust, particle impurities and the like in cooling air are efficiently filtered by skillfully utilizing centrifugal force and combining with a simple structure of the dust removing holes, so that the cleanliness of the interior of the converter is effectively improved, and the safe and reliable work of each electric element is guaranteed;
