A connector for improving air tightness comprises a terminal group and a terminal seat integrally injection-molded outside the terminal group, wherein each terminal in the terminal group comprises a welding foot part, a fixing part and a contact part which are sequentially connected, the welding foot part extends backwards out of the terminal seat, the fixing part is embedded in the terminal seat, and the contact part extends forwards out of the terminal seat; the method is characterized in that:

the fixing part is provided with through holes penetrating through the upper surface and the lower surface of the fixing part, the left side surface and the right side surface of the fixing part are provided with a plurality of concave positions which are arranged at intervals along the extending direction of the fixing part, and bulges are formed between the adjacent concave positions; the terminal block is injected into the through hole and the concave position, so that the left side face and the right side face of the fixing part are combined with the terminal block through corrugated curved faces which are arranged in an alternating mode.

2. The connector for improving airtightness according to claim 1, wherein: the right side surface inside the concave position of the left side surface and the left side surface inside the concave position of the right side surface are both in a concave arc shape.

Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of connectors, in particular to a connector for improving air tightness, which mainly relates to an RJ connector.

Background

The connector generally includes a terminal set and a terminal block (also referred to as a plastic block) injection-molded on the terminal set; the air tightness between the terminal group and the terminal base of the traditional connector is insufficient, and in some areas with large day-night temperature difference, water mist is easy to appear on corresponding security products during use, so that the normal use of the connector is influenced.

Taking an RJ45 socket connector as an example, in the prior art, refer to a circular RJ45 socket connector disclosed in chinese patent ZL 202021287331.5, in which a fixing portion of a terminal is connected with a terminal block through a flat smooth surface, the connector generates heat when in use, and the terminal block deforms a small amount, so that a certain air flow gap is formed between the surface of the fixing portion and a contact surface of the terminal block, and the air flow gap in the connector is smooth, so that air (e.g., humid air) can easily pass through the air flow gap from the front end or the rear end of the terminal block, and moisture exists inside the connector and the product, which affects normal use of the product.

Therefore, there is a need for improvements to existing connectors.

Disclosure of Invention

In view of the above, the present invention is directed to a connector with improved hermeticity, which increases the area of the side surface of the terminal, makes the connection between the terminal and the terminal block more tight, reduces the area of the air gap through which air can pass, prolongs the path through which air can pass, and improves hermeticity of the connector.

In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:

a connector for improving air tightness comprises a terminal group and a terminal seat integrally injection-molded outside the terminal group, wherein each terminal in the terminal group comprises a welding foot part, a fixing part and a contact part which are sequentially connected, the welding foot part extends backwards out of the terminal seat, the fixing part is embedded in the terminal seat, and the contact part extends forwards out of the terminal seat;

the fixing part is provided with through holes penetrating through the upper surface and the lower surface of the fixing part, the left side surface and the right side surface of the fixing part are provided with a plurality of concave positions which are arranged at intervals along the extending direction of the fixing part, and bulges are formed between the adjacent concave positions; the terminal block is injected into the through hole and the concave position, so that the left side face and the right side face of the fixing part are combined with the terminal block through corrugated curved faces which are arranged in an alternating mode.

As a preferred scheme, the inner right side surface of the concave position of the left side surface and the inner left side surface of the concave position of the right side surface are both in a concave arc shape.

Preferably, the junction between the concave part and the convex part is designed to be a sharp angle.

Preferably, the upper surface and/or the lower surface of the fixing part is provided with a plurality of V-shaped grooves which are arranged at intervals along the extending direction of the fixing part.

As a preferred scheme, the fixed part comprises a horizontal section and a vertical section connected to the front side of the horizontal section, and the through hole, the concave position and the protrusion are all located on the horizontal section.

Preferably, the front side and/or the rear side of the vertical section is provided with a plurality of pressure points.

As a preferable scheme, the horizontal section is provided with a square section connected with the welding foot part and a conical section connected with the square section, the large end of the conical section is connected with the square section, and the small end of the conical section is connected with the vertical section; in the square section, the space between the right side surface of the concave part of the left side surface and the left side surface of the concave part of the right side surface is defined as S1, the width of the left side surface and the right side surface is defined as S2, and the S1 is 0.15-0.25 times of S2.

Preferably, the through hole is located between the protrusions on the left and right side surfaces of the fixing portion.

Preferably, the terminal set is an RJ connector terminal set.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has obvious advantages and beneficial effects, and specifically, the technical scheme includes that:

secondly, the right side surface inside the concave position of the left side surface and the left side surface inside the concave position of the right side surface are both in a concave arc shape, and meanwhile, the joint of the concave position and the bulge is designed to be a sharp angle, so that the path through which the gas passes is further prolonged, the path through which the gas passes is also more complicated, and the difficulty in passing the gas is increased;

moreover, the arrangement of the pressure points in the vertical section reduces the area of gas passing through the upper surface and the lower surface of the terminal, so that the terminal can be tightly combined with the terminal seat no matter which surface is on, the area of an air gap through which the gas can pass is reduced in all directions, the path through which the gas passes is prolonged, and the air tightness of the connector is further improved.

Detailed Description

Referring to fig. 1 to 6, a specific structure of a preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown, which includes a terminal set 10 and a terminal block 20 integrally injection-molded outside the terminal set 10, each terminal in the terminal set 10 includes a solder leg portion 11, a fixing portion 12 and a contact portion 13 connected in sequence, the solder leg portion 11 extends backward outside the terminal block 20, the fixing portion 12 is embedded in the terminal block 20, and the contact portion 13 extends forward outside the terminal block 20;

the fixing part 12 is provided with through holes 101 penetrating through the upper surface and the lower surface of the fixing part 12, the left side surface and the right side surface of the fixing part 12 are provided with a plurality of concave positions 102 arranged at intervals along the extending direction of the fixing part 12, and a bulge 103 is formed between every two adjacent concave positions 102; the terminal block 20 is injected into the through hole 101 and the concave 102, so that the left side and the right side of the fixing part 12 are combined with the terminal block 20 through the corrugated surfaces with the alternate concave and convex arrangement.

The through holes 101 may be different shapes (e.g., circular holes, square holes, irregular holes, etc.), but not limited to this, a plurality of through holes 101 may be arranged on the fixing portion 12 at intervals.

Preferably, the upper surface and/or the lower surface of the fixing part 12 is provided with a plurality of V-shaped grooves 104 arranged at intervals along the extending direction of the fixing part; the front side and/or the rear side of the vertical section 122 are/is provided with a plurality of pressure points 105, the pressure points are small pits, and the pressure points 105 are arranged in two rows at intervals; in addition, the through hole 101 is located between the protrusions 103 on the left and right side surfaces of the fixing portion 12.

The terminal group 10 is an RJ connector terminal group; in the present embodiment, the terminal set 10 is an RJ45 connector terminal set.

The design of the invention is characterized in that:

the fixing part is provided with a through hole penetrating through the upper surface and the lower surface of the fixing part, the left side surface and the right side surface of the fixing part are provided with a plurality of concave positions arranged at intervals along the extending direction of the fixing part, and a bulge is formed between every two adjacent concave positions; the terminal seat is injected into the through hole and the concave position, so that the left side surface and the right side surface of the fixing part are combined with the terminal seat through corrugated zigzag surfaces which are arranged in an alternating mode; the area of the side surface of the terminal is increased, so that the terminal and the terminal seat are combined more tightly, the area of an air gap through which air can pass is reduced, the path through which the air passes is prolonged, and the air tightness of the connector is improved;

secondly, the right side surface inside the concave position of the left side surface and the left side surface inside the concave position of the right side surface are both in a concave arc shape, and meanwhile, the joint of the concave position and the bulge is designed to be a sharp angle, so that the path through which the gas passes is further prolonged, the path through which the gas passes is also more complicated, and the difficulty in passing the gas is increased;

moreover, the arrangement of the pressure points in the vertical section reduces the area of gas passing through the upper surface and the lower surface of the terminal, so that the terminal can be tightly combined with the terminal seat no matter which surface is on, the area of an air gap through which the gas can pass is reduced in all directions, the path through which the gas passes is prolonged, and the air tightness of the connector is further improved.
