preparing a shell (1), an inner conductor (3), a sealing ring (2) and a protruding structure (103) which are matched in size;

step two: installing a sealing ring (2);

the sealing ring (2) is plugged in a socket hole (101) of a shell (1), a protruding structure (103) is arranged in a pin inserting hole (302) of the shell (1), the sealing ring (2) is connected with the socket hole (101) in an extrusion mode through a sealing ring bulge (4), and the protruding structure (103) is in interference connection with the pin inserting hole (302);

step three: mounting an inner conductor (3);

The invention relates to an electric connector, in particular to a vehicle-mounted waterproof connector and an assembling method thereof.

Background

The requirement of present automotive industry in the aspect of the waterproof connector is more and more high, the demand is more and more big, but current on-vehicle connector only is provided with single axial waterproof construction usually or is provided with more sealing washer and just can effectively be waterproof, the reliability of this connector in the in-service use process can't be guaranteed to the waterproof connector of only single axial waterproof construction, but if be provided with more sealing washer, if one of them sealing washer is inefficacy, can lead to whole waterproof connector waterproof nature to become invalid, and the cost of manufacture of product is higher, the preparation process is comparatively complicated.

The coaxial waterproof connector comprises a shell and a coaxial line, wherein an outer conductor is arranged in the shell, the coaxial line extends into the shell, a coaxial line main body is arranged behind the outer conductor, a line core of the coaxial line extends into the outer conductor to be connected to the inner conductor in the outer conductor, and a crimping pipe used for fastening the outer conductor to the coaxial line in a compression mode is sleeved on the outer conductor. The invention uses excessive sealing rings to carry out waterproof treatment on the connector, has high cost, and can cause the waterproof failure of the whole part if one sealing ring fails.

For example, the chinese patent CN210957097U discloses an enhanced waterproof connector, which comprises a metal outer conductor and a metal inner conductor, the metal inner conductor is provided with a first groove and a second groove from outside to inside, the second rubber sealing ring is arranged in the first groove, a multi-tooth-shaped rubber sealing ring is arranged in the second groove, a first insulating medium is sleeved on the metal inner conductor, the first groove is wrapped inside, the first insulating medium is provided with the first rubber sealing ring, the second insulating medium is sleeved on the inner end of the metal inner conductor, the metal outer conductor is sleeved on the first insulating medium, the multi-tooth-shaped rubber sealing ring and the second insulating medium, and the first insulating medium, the multi-tooth rubber sealing ring and the second insulating medium are fixed, and a third groove is formed in the metal outer conductor, and a third rubber sealing ring is arranged in the third groove. When the multi-tooth sealing ring is extruded, the sealing ring is easily torn off, so that the waterproofness of the product is invalid.

Therefore, how to design a vehicle-mounted waterproof connector and an assembling method thereof can reduce the number of used sealing rings, reduce the cost, reduce the assembling process, extrude and protect the sealing rings, and effectively prevent water of a product, which is a very important thing to be solved.

preparing a shell, an inner conductor, a sealing ring and a protruding structure which are matched in size;

step two: installing a sealing ring;

plugging a sealing ring in a socket hole of a shell, arranging a protruding structure in a pin inserting hole of the shell, wherein the sealing ring is connected with the socket hole in an extrusion mode through a sealing ring bulge, and the protruding structure is in interference connection with the pin inserting hole;

step three: installing an inner conductor;

installing an inner conductor, wherein a first connecting part of the inner conductor is connected with the inner surface of the sealing ring in an extrusion mode through a sealing ring bulge, and a second connecting part of the inner conductor is in interference connection with a protruding structure of the pin inserting hole;

step four: a connecting member;

and connecting the connecting piece of the shell, the socket and the pin of the inner conductor with an external element device.

The bulge and the hollow column in the shell form a low impedance, the groove and the hollow column in the shell form a high impedance, the low impedance region and the high impedance of the adjacent groove form complementation, and the comprehensive performance is improved.

The beneficial effects obtained by the invention are as follows:

1) according to the invention, only one sealing ring is arranged, so that the number of used sealing rings is reduced, the risk of water-proof failure of a product is reduced, and if one sealing ring fails, the water-proof failure of the whole waterproof connector can be caused by adopting a plurality of sealing rings in the prior art.

2) The sealing ring, the inner conductor and the shell are connected in a bulge extrusion mode, and the phenomenon that the sealing ring is pulled apart after being directly extruded to cause water resistance failure is avoided.

3) The invention only arranges one sealing ring, reduces product parts, saves part cost and reduces manufacturing cost.

4) The method designed by the invention is simple, is easy to operate and is convenient for practical use.

the device comprises a shell 1, a sealing ring 2 and an inner conductor 3;

the sealing ring 2 is arranged inside the shell 1;

the inner conductor 3 is arranged inside the sealing ring 2;

the inner conductor 3 is provided with a groove and an inner conductor bulge 5.

Further, the number of the inner conductor bulges 5 and the number of the seal ring bulges 4 are plural.

According to the invention, only one sealing ring 2 is arranged, so that the number of the used sealing rings 2 is reduced, the risk of water resistance failure of a product is reduced, and if one sealing ring 2 fails, the water resistance of the whole waterproof connector fails due to the adoption of a plurality of sealing rings 2 in the prior art.

it is shown that the first connection site 303 of the inner conductor 3 is provided with an inner conductor bump 5, the inner conductor bump 5 is fitted in the through hole of the sealing ring, and the sealing ring 2 is fitted over the first connection site 303 of the inner conductor 3 and is disposed in the receptacle hole 101 of the housing 1.

Further, the second connection portion 304 of the inner conductor 3 is in interference connection with the protruding structure 103 of the pin hole 102.
