s1, rolling and flattening the blanking blank, and then welding in a butt welding way;

s2, processing the welding seam to obtain a cylindrical workpiece;

s3, performing flaring processing on the cylindrical workpiece to obtain a flaring workpiece;

s4, performing expansion finishing on the flaring workpiece after rolling forming;

s5, extruding and forming the outer side part of the outer edge of the expanded and finished working procedure piece;

and S6, detecting air tightness and punching and extruding the valve hole.

Background

In recent years, the development of lightweight wheels, particularly high-strength lightweight steel wheels, is great, for example 22.5X9.00 tubeless steel wheels, the thickness of a rim material is reduced from 7mm to 4-5 mm, the tensile strength of the rim material is improved from 380MPa to 650MPa, the weight of the wheel is reduced from more than 40kg to about 30kg, and in the process, the rim rigidity of the rim is also sharply reduced, which is an important index affecting the safety of the wheel.

Currently, the following methods are mainly used for reinforcing the wheel rim: (1) increasing the rim width or height; (2) the wheel rim is designed into an annular structure; (3) the rim is provided with an annular reinforcing steel wire. The first method has the rim exceeding the industry standard and the reinforcing effect is not obvious enough; the second ring structure method has processing difficulty in process; the third method for reinforcing the steel wire needs to add a process on the basis of the existing process, and meanwhile, the weight of the wheel is increased, and the cost is increased.

Therefore, how to develop a wheel rim which can meet the requirement of light weight of the wheel and is convenient to produce has important significance.

Disclosure of Invention

In view of the above, one of the objects of the present invention is to provide a wheel rim, which is different in that a rim of the wheel rim has a C-shaped structure.

The wheel rim processing technology provided by the invention has the advantages that the manufacturing process is simple, the quality of the prepared product is stable, the equipment investment and the kinetic energy consumption can be reduced, and the problem that the outer side part of the wheel rim cannot be formed by rolling can be solved.

The present invention is further described in detail below with reference to specific examples so that those skilled in the art can more clearly understand the present invention.

The following examples are provided only for illustrating the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. All other embodiments obtained by a person skilled in the art based on the specific embodiments of the present invention without any inventive step are within the scope of the present invention.

Example 1

This example provides a C-type rim for a wheel having a 15 ° drop center diameter of 22.5X9.00 gauge and a cross-section thickness of 4 mm.

As shown in figure 1, the wheel rim of the C-shaped wheel rim is provided with a C-shaped flange part, namely, the wheel rim flange 1-3 of the wheel rim is of a hook-segment arc structure, and the wheel rim of the C-shaped wheel rim comprises a rim middle part 1-1, a rim bead seat 1-2 and a rim flange 1-3 which are integrally connected.

The middle part 1-1 of the rim comprises a rim groove 1-1-1 and a rim straight edge 1-1-2, and specifically comprises a rim flange, a rim bead seat, a rim groove, a rim straight edge, a rim bead seat and a rim flange which are sequentially connected into a whole. The middle part 1-1 of the rim and the bead seats 1-3 of the rim both accord with the industrial standard GB/T31961 of the wheel rim.

Example 2

The embodiment provides a process for producing the wheel rim of embodiment 1, the rim is made of high-strength special steel for wheels with the thickness of 4mm and the tensile strength of more than 650MPa, and the process specifically comprises the following steps:

s2, processing the welding seam to obtain a cylindrical workpiece, wherein the processing of slag planing, welding seam rolling, front and rear end cutting and end burr polishing is carried out when the welding seam is processed;

s3, performing flaring processing on the cylindrical workpiece to obtain a flared workpiece, specifically, expanding two openings of the workpiece into a horn shape with a large outside and a small inside through an equipment mold to reach a process dimension value, as shown in fig. 4, the opening dimensions L1, L2 and the angle θ are determined by debugging according to the rim dimensions, particularly the rim structure dimensions and the rim materials, and the opening dimensions L1 and L2 can be adjusted through the mold, in this embodiment, L2 is greater than L1;

s4, performing expansion finishing on the flared workpiece after rolling forming, wherein the step is performed by two times of rolling forming, the section of the workpiece subjected to the first rolling forming is shown in figure 5, in order to prevent the workpiece placed in a die and in the rolling forming process from shifting left and right and stabilize the quality, the opening angles at two ends are the same as theta and are consistent with the angle theta of the flared workpiece; in order to prevent too large difference of expansion allowance during subsequent expansion finishing and stop the risk of cracking, the size end of L2 is positioned at the right side of the process sectional figure 5 when a workpiece is placed in a die before rolling; in order to reduce the reduction rate of the wheel felloe groove part and facilitate the material to flow to the wheel felloe groove part, the wheel felloe groove of the sectional drawing of the working procedure is set to be in large circular arc transition; the method comprises the steps that deformation is conducted in a segmented mode in the forming process, one-step forming is conducted until the requirement of a process diagram is met, namely, a rim groove portion is deformed, then flat sections of a bead seat and a rim groove connected with the bead seat are deformed, and the requirement of the process diagram is met in the last one-step forming; carrying out secondary roll forming on the primary roll forming process piece, wherein the secondary roll forming process piece is as shown in figure 6, in order to facilitate the extrusion forming of the outer side of the subsequent wheel rim, the outer side part of the wheel rim of the process piece is bent downwards in the process, the forming process is segmented and formed, the primary forming meets the process diagram requirement, namely, the groove part of the wheel rim is deformed, the process diagram requirement is met at last, and the other parts meet the product section requirement except the outer side part of the wheel rim; expanding the calibration diameter of the process piece formed by secondary rolling to the product requirement through an expansion finishing die;

s5, extruding and forming the outer side part of the outer edge of the expanded and finished process piece, namely, extruding and forming the wheel rim of the workpiece only through a die, wherein the process piece is as shown in FIG. 7, and in the forming process, in order to prevent the nominal diameter of the wheel rim and other shapes except the outer side part of the wheel rim from changing, the workpiece is supported by a module, so that the workpiece only forms the outer side part of the wheel rim;

and S6, detecting air tightness and punching and extruding the valve hole.

Compared with the existing standard rim processing technology, the processing technology of the C-shaped rim wheel rim has the following advantages: (1) aligning and spot-welding two open ends of the rolling and flattening process piece to connect the two open ends together, and avoiding overlapping and malocclusion of a subsequent butt welding process and cracking caused by the subsequent process; (2) the rounding procedure is cancelled before flaring, and the rolling forming process only needs two times, so that the third rolling wheel rim preforming is omitted, the equipment investment and the kinetic energy consumption are reduced, and the manufacturing cost is further reduced; (3) the outer side part of the wheel rim of the expansion finishing process piece is extruded and molded to be curled inwards, and the problem that the wheel rim cannot be molded through rolling is solved.

It should be noted that the above examples are only for further illustration and description of the technical solution of the present invention, and are not intended to further limit the technical solution of the present invention, and the method of the present invention is only a preferred embodiment, and is not intended to limit the protection scope of the present invention.
