Background

The collar assembly is mounted on the mill spindle for extruding the wire/rod to the desired profile dimensions. The precision of the roll collar is related to the product quality, so the roll collar needs to be replaced in time due to the abrasion of the roll collar after rolling for a certain time (the replacement frequency of the roll collar is related to the excessive steel quantity). The roller ring assembly is mainly divided into a protective cap, a taper sleeve and a roller ring body. The taper sleeve is positioned between the main shaft of the rolling mill and the roller collar, the roller collar is tensioned and fixed by matching with the conical surface of the main shaft of the rolling mill, and the outer end of the taper sleeve is provided with a nut in threaded connection with the main shaft. The protective cap is installed outside the taper sleeve and is fixedly connected with the inner thread of the main shaft through a screw rod. The invention is mainly used for the automatic installation of the taper sleeve/roll collar of the roll collar assembly of the rolling mill.

At present, the roll collar installation operation is carried out manually through a special hydraulic roller loading tool, the roll collar, a taper sleeve and the hydraulic roller loading tool are manually and sequentially installed on a main shaft of a rolling mill, an installation bolt is screwed into an internal thread of the main shaft of the rolling mill, the bolt is screwed, the hydraulic roller loading tool pressurizes and compresses the taper sleeve, the roll collar is fixed, and the roller loading operation is completed.

The roll collar needs frequent replacement and maintenance, and the existing manual installation of the roll collar has the conditions of repeated labor, high labor intensity, long replacement time, low efficiency, high temperature of working environment, easy occurrence of danger and the like.

The invention aims to provide an automatic installation device and an automatic installation method for a rolling mill roll collar, which are combined with a mechanical arm to realize automatic operation of a roll installation process.

the hydraulic motor drives the screw to rotate, and the screw can be mounted and dismounted; the compression spring can tightly press the screw rod without shaking; clamping mechanisms are arranged on two sides of the conveying roller ring and used for clamping the conveying roller ring; and a flatness detection mechanism is arranged on the outer side of the cylinder body and used for detecting flatness after the installation of the roll collar so as to realize automatic installation of the roll collar without manual participation.

The invention reduces the labor intensity of workers and reduces the operation danger; but automated inspection collars installation effect avoids the unqualified loss that causes of installation.

The device comprises a hydraulic motor 1, a cover plate 2, a transmission shaft 3, a compression spring 4, a screw 5, a cylinder 6, a roll collar clamping mechanism 7, a laser detection mechanism 8 and the like.

The hydraulic motor 1 is fixedly connected with the cover plate 2; the cover plate 2 is fixedly connected with the upper end of the cylinder 6; the transmission shaft 3 is connected with the hydraulic motor 1 in a key way; the screw rod 5 is connected with the transmission shaft 3 through a pin, one end of the screw rod 5 is provided with a hole, the other end of the screw rod 5 is provided with an external thread, two sides of the screw rod are provided with long holes which can slide up and down on the transmission shaft 3, and a linear bearing 10 is arranged between the screw rod 5 and the transmission shaft 3; the screw 5 and the compression spring 4 are sleeved on the transmission shaft 3, and the screw 5 can extrude the compression spring when rising.

The roller ring clamping mechanism 7 is arranged on two sides of the lower end of the cylinder body, the roller ring clamping mechanism 7 is composed of a hydraulic cylinder 7-1, a sliding rail sliding block 7-2 and a clamping block 7-3, the hydraulic cylinder 7-1 is connected with the clamping block 7-3, and the clamping block is arranged on the sliding rail sliding block 7-2.

The flatness detection mechanism 8 is arranged on the outer side of the cylinder body 6, the flatness detection mechanism 8 is composed of a cylinder 8-1 with a guide rod, a sensor support and a laser sensor 8-2, the cylinder 8-1 with the guide rod is connected with the sensor support, and the sensor support is connected with the laser sensor 8-2.

And a photoelectric sensor 9 is arranged on the outer side of the cylinder 6 and used for detecting the position of the screw 5.

The hydraulic cylinder 7-1 can be replaced by an air cylinder; the cylinder 8-1 with the guide rod can be replaced by other linear motion mechanisms.

The working principle is as follows:

the hydraulic roller pressing tool is fixed inside the cylinder 6, the mechanical arm places the automatic roller ring mounting device on the roller ring 12 and the taper sleeve 11, the roller ring clamping mechanism 7 clamps the roller ring, and the mechanical arm moves the automatic roller ring mounting device, the taper sleeve 11 and the roller ring 12 together and mounts the automatic roller ring mounting device on the main shaft. The hydraulic motor 1 is started to drive the screw to rotate, the screw is screwed into the internal thread of the main shaft of the rolling mill, and the hydraulic motor stops rotating after the hydraulic pressure reaches the preset pressure. The collar gripping mechanism 7 retracts to release the collar 12. The hydraulic roller pressing tool 13 presses the roller into the taper sleeve 11, and the roller ring 12 is fixed through taper surface tension. After the hydraulic roller loading tool 13 feeds back the completion of roller loading, the hydraulic motor 1 rotates reversely, the screw 5 is screwed out, and after the photoelectric sensor 9 detects the screw, the hydraulic motor stops rotating. The mechanical arm moves the automatic roller ring mounting device outwards, the automatic roller ring mounting device is separated from the roller ring and moved away, the flatness detection mechanism cylinder extends out, the laser sensor detects the flatness of the surface of the roller ring, and the roller mounting operation is completed after the flatness is qualified.
