The prepared non-woven fabric composite material with the formaldehyde adsorption function is subjected to characterization of air permeability, resistance and stiffness, and formaldehyde adsorption performance test.

The air-purifying high-purity activated carbon in the following examples was evaluated by the following method:

(2) CADR value of formaldehyde: the method comprises the steps of folding and sealing a non-woven fabric composite material with the formaldehyde adsorption function, which is 6m long and 32cm wide, of a sample to be tested, putting the non-woven fabric composite material into a prepared injection molding frame to ensure good tightness, putting the non-woven fabric composite material into an air purifier, covering the whole air purifier with a plastic bag, finally injecting a certain amount of detection solution into a 30m3 box, heating for 10 minutes to completely volatilize the detection solution (simultaneously starting a stirring fan), then closing a heater, sampling and measuring the initial concentration of the detection solution by a formaldehyde analyzer, removing the plastic bag on the purifier, starting the purification fan and starting timing until the concentration of formaldehyde in an experimental cabin is reduced to 0.080 ppm;

(3) the test instruments comprise a 3m3 organic glass box, a 30m3 organic glass box, a fan mixer, a hygrothermograph, a Samsung KJ350G-K3026WP air purifier, and a 4160 formaldehyde analyzer of Interscan company of America;

(4) analyzing the surface structure property of the material by using a Nanosem 430 type field emission scanning electron microscope;

(5) determining air permeability and resistance parameters of the filter material by using a Sujing SJPM-F006 filter material test bench;

(6) material stiffness was measured using a YG022D fully automated fabric stiffness meter;

(7) material thickness was measured using a YGB141D digital fabric thickness gauge.
