Technical Field

The present invention relates to an open absorbent article having a front waistline region, a back waistline region, and a crotch region, a package of the absorbent article, and a method for manufacturing the package.

Background

Patent document 1 discloses an open-type absorbent article having a front waistline region, a rear waistline region, and a crotch region. The open absorbent article in patent document 1 is stored in a bag-like packaging sheet in a state of being folded a plurality of times. Specifically, the open-type absorbent article is folded with the front and rear folding lines located on the outer side in the width direction of the absorbent core and along the front and rear direction as base points from an unfolded state in which the open-type absorbent article is not folded by the folding lines, and then, in a state in which the open-type absorbent article is folded with the front and rear folding lines as base points, the open-type absorbent article is folded with the width folding line located substantially at the center in the front and rear direction of the absorbent article and along the width direction as base points. In this way, the open-type absorbent article is stored in the package sheet in a state of being folded with the front-rear folding line and the width folding line as base points (see fig. 1 of patent document 1).

Disclosure of Invention

In the open-type absorbent article thus configured, there is provided a habitual fold formed by a folding line folded before use. The width fold line is a fold line folded over the entire area of the absorbent core in the width direction so that the skin-facing sides face each other. Therefore, the widthwise folding line may deform so as to be separated from the crotch of the wearer over the entire widthwise region of the absorbent core, thereby causing side leakage. In particular, an absorbent article having a front waistline region, a back waistline region, and a crotch region has a shape that is not pressed against the body through a wearing article like a sanitary napkin, since the absorbent article itself has a region covering the body, and the habitual bending of the absorbent article itself easily affects the wearing state.

In the open absorbent article of patent document 1, the length in the front-rear direction in the folded state is about half that in the unfolded state, and the length in the width direction in the folded state is equal to or longer than the length in the width direction of the absorbent core. Therefore, the length in the front-rear direction and the width direction in the folded state is long, and it is difficult to compactly store the absorbent article during transportation.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an open-type absorbent article having a front waistline region, a rear waistline region, and a crotch region, which can be stored compactly before use while suppressing the occurrence of side leakage due to habitual bending before use.

An open-type absorbent article according to one aspect includes a front waistline region covering a front waistline of a wearer, a back waistline region covering a back waistline of the wearer, a crotch region disposed between the front waistline region and the back waistline region, and an absorbent core disposed at least in the crotch region. The absorbent article can be folded with a width folding line along the width direction and a front-back folding line along the front-back direction as base points. The front-back folding line has a core front-back folding line that folds the absorbent core in the crotch region so that the skin surface sides of the absorbent core face each other.

An absorbent article package according to one aspect includes the absorbent article and a package sheet that individually packages the absorbent article. The package of the absorbent article is provided with temporary joining portions that are brought into contact with the absorbent article and the package sheet, respectively, and that temporarily join the absorbent article and the package sheet. The bonding strength of the temporary bonding portion to the package sheet is higher than the bonding strength of the temporary bonding portion to the absorbent article.

A method of manufacturing an absorbent article according to one aspect is a method of manufacturing a package of an absorbent article having an open absorbent article and a package sheet, the open absorbent article having a front waistline region covering a front waistline of a wearer, a rear waistline region covering a rear waistline of the wearer, a crotch region disposed between the front waistline region and the rear waistline region, and an absorbent core disposed at least in the crotch region, the front waistline region and the rear waistline region being orthogonal to each other, the package sheet individually packaging the absorbent article. The method for manufacturing the absorbent article package comprises the following steps: a first step 1 of folding the absorbent core in the crotch region with the front and rear folding lines as base points so that the skin surface sides face each other; a 2 nd step of placing the absorbent article folded in the 1 st folding step on the wrapping sheet in the 2 nd step; a 3 rd step of folding the packaging sheet along the core front-rear folding line in the 3 rd step after the 2 nd step; and a 4 th step of, after the 3 rd step, folding the packaging sheet and the absorbent article with a widthwise folding line extending in the widthwise direction as a base point in the 4 th step.

Detailed Description

(1) Brief description of the embodiments

At least the following matters will be made clear from the description of the present specification and the drawings.

An open-type absorbent article according to one embodiment has a front waistline region covering a front waistline of a wearer, a back waistline region covering a back waistline of the wearer, a crotch region disposed between the front waistline region and the back waistline region, and an absorbent core disposed at least in the crotch region, the front waistline region and the back waistline region being orthogonal to each other in a front-back direction and a width direction. The absorbent article can be folded with a width folding line along the width direction and a front-back folding line along the front-back direction as base points. The front-back folding line has a core front-back folding line that folds the absorbent core in the crotch region so that the skin surface sides of the absorbent core face each other. At least the habitual fold formed by the core front and back fold lines is formed in the absorbent core. Since the core front-rear folding line is a folding line that is folded so that the skin surface sides of the absorbent article face each other, the region on the outer side in the width direction than the core front-rear folding line stands up toward the wearer by being bent habitually. Therefore, the side portion in the width direction of the absorbent core in the crotch region is deformed so as to rise toward the wearer by being bent habitually, and side leakage can be suppressed. Further, since the absorbent core is folded by the core front-rear folding line, the length of the absorbent article in the width direction in the folded state can be easily shortened, and the absorbent article can be compactly stored before use.

According to a preferred embodiment, a pair of the core front and rear folding lines may be provided with a center of the absorbent core in the width direction being interposed therebetween. An absorbent article such as a diaper is configured to hold excrement such as urine irregularly excreted, and is preferably configured to be arranged in the crotch region so as not to closely adhere to the body, unlike a structure in which menstrual blood intermittently excreted is held like a sanitary napkin. The region between the pair of core front and rear folding lines is erected outside the core front and rear folding lines, and the cross section along the width direction is formed in a cup shape. Therefore, a larger space for holding the body fluid can be ensured. The vicinity of the front and rear folding lines of the core is separated from the body by being bent habitually, and a space for holding body fluid can be secured.

According to a preferred aspect, the front-back folding line may have an article front-back folding line that is positioned further outward in the width direction than the absorbent core in the unfolded state and folds the absorbent article so that skin surface sides face each other, and the core front-back folding line may fold the absorbent core in a 1 st folded state folded with the article front-back folding line as a base point. According to this aspect, the absorbent article can be folded in the width direction by the article front-rear folding line and the core front-rear folding line, and the length of the absorbent article in the width direction before use can be further shortened. Further, the habitual bending formed by the front and rear folding lines of the article becomes a habitual bending in which the skin surface sides of the absorbent article face each other. The article can be raised toward the body side on both sides across the front and rear fold lines of the article in the width direction, and the fit when worn can be improved.

According to a preferred embodiment, the width folding line may fold the absorbent article in a 2 nd folded state folded with the core front and rear folding lines as base points. According to this aspect, the length of the absorbent article in the front-rear direction can be further shortened in a state where the length of the absorbent article in the width direction is shortened by folding the absorbent article using the width folding line as a base point. The absorbent article can be compactly stored before use. Further, since the folding is performed using the core front and rear folding lines and then the folding is performed using the width folding line as a base point, the habitual bending of the core front and rear folding lines is easily formed more strongly, and the folded state is easily maintained. Therefore, the effect of suppressing the side leakage by the habitual bending is more easily obtained.

According to a preferred embodiment, a pair of the width folding lines may be provided at an interval in the front-rear direction. According to this aspect, the length of the absorbent article in the front-rear direction can be further shortened, and the absorbent article can be compactly stored before use.

One embodiment of the open-type absorbent article package includes the absorbent article and a package sheet that individually packages the absorbent article. The package of the open absorbent article is provided with temporary joint portions that are brought into contact with the absorbent article and the package sheet, respectively, and that temporarily join the absorbent article and the package sheet. The bonding strength of the temporary bonding portion to the package sheet is higher than the bonding strength of the temporary bonding portion to the absorbent article. The relative positions of the package sheet and the absorbent article can be fixed by the temporary joining section, and folding can be performed stably. The temporary joint portion has a high joint strength with respect to the package sheet and a low joint strength with respect to the absorbent article. Therefore, when the absorbent article is peeled from the wrapping sheet during use, the temporarily joined portion is likely to remain on the wrapping sheet side. Since the temporary joint section does not adhere to the absorbent article during use, it is possible to suppress a sense of discomfort caused by the temporary joint section being disposed on the non-skin surface side of the absorbent article during use.

According to a preferred aspect, the temporary joint portion may be disposed in a region overlapping with the absorbent core. The absorbent core is also a relatively stiff member in the absorbent article. By fixing the region overlapping the absorbent core having relatively high rigidity to the package sheet by the temporary joining section, the positions of the absorbent article and the package sheet can be stabilized.

According to a preferred aspect, the absorbent article may have a standing leak-proof gather located on the skin side of the absorbent core, the leak-proof gather may have a fixing portion fixed to a top sheet and a standing portion capable of standing up with respect to the top sheet, the top sheet may be located on the skin side of the absorbent core, the pair of width folding lines may be provided at an interval in the front-rear direction with respect to a center in the front-rear direction of the standing portion, and at least a part of the temporary joining portion may be disposed at a position on the outer side in the front-rear direction with respect to the width folding lines. In the absorbent article, a region overlapping the temporary joint portion is applied with a force that stretches toward the wrapping sheet side in a deployed state when in use. Since the temporarily joined portion is disposed at a position further outward in the front-rear direction than the center in the front-rear direction of the rising portion of the leak-preventing gather, the temporarily joined portion is stretched toward the wrapping sheet side. In this case, since the temporary joining portion is disposed outside the wide folding line, the region outside in the front-rear direction of the wide folding line is more likely to be developed with the wide folding line as a base point. Therefore, the rising portion located between the width folding lines is easily raised. By improving the rising property of the leak-proof gathers, side leakage can be further suppressed.

According to a preferred aspect, the absorbent article may have raised leakage preventing gathers located on the skin side of the absorbent core, the leakage preventing gathers may have a fixing portion fixed to a top sheet and a raised portion which is raised with respect to the top sheet, the top sheet may be located on the skin side of the absorbent core, and at least a part of the temporary joining portion may be located on the outer side in the front-rear direction than the raised portion in the expanded state. In the absorbent article, a region overlapping the temporary joint portion is applied with a force that stretches toward the wrapping sheet side in the unfolded state. The region on the front-rear direction outer side than the rising portion of the leak-proof gather is pulled toward the wrapping sheet side by the temporary joining portion, whereby the rising portion is easily raised. By improving the rising property of the leak-proof gathers, side leakage can be further suppressed.

A method of manufacturing an open absorbent article according to one aspect is a method of manufacturing a package of an absorbent article having an open absorbent article having a front waistline region covering a front waistline of a wearer, a rear waistline region covering a rear waistline of the wearer, a crotch region disposed between the front waistline region and the rear waistline region, and an absorbent core disposed at least in the crotch region, the front waistline region and the rear waistline region being orthogonal to each other, and a packaging sheet that individually packages the absorbent article. After the absorbent article is folded in the 1 st step, the wrapping sheet is folded along the fold line of the absorbent article in the 3 rd step, whereby the temporarily folded absorbent article can be folded again. Therefore, it can be folded more compactly. In particular, the present invention can be suitably applied to an absorbent article having a relatively long length in the width direction, such as a disposable diaper.

According to a preferred embodiment, in the 3 rd step, the folded package sheets may be folded so as to overlap each other, and the overlapped package sheets may be joined to each other by a package joining portion. By joining the package sheets to each other via the package joining portion, the folded package sheet can be maintained in a folded state without being unfolded, and the absorbent article can be stored in a more compact manner.

Next, the manufacturing method includes a 1 st step of folding the absorbent article 10 in the 1 st folded state with the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 as a base point. In the 1 st folded state, the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 is positioned further inward in the width direction W than the 1 st front-rear folding line FL 1. The 1 st step may be a step of folding the absorbent article 10 with the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 as a base point in the 1 st folded state, or may be a step of folding the absorbent article 10 with the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 as a base point in the unfolded state. The manufacturing method includes a 2 nd step of placing the absorbent article 10 folded in the 1 st step on the packaging sheet 100. Fig. 3 (C) shows a state after the 2 nd step in a 2 nd folded state folded from the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL 2. The manufacturing method has a 3 rd process of folding the packaging sheet 100 along the 3 rd front-rear folding line FL3 after the 2 nd process. The 3 rd step is to fold the packaging sheet 100 with the 3 rd front-rear folding line FL3 along the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 of the absorbent article 10 as a base point. The position in the width direction W of the 3 rd front-rear folding line FL3 substantially coincides with the position in the width direction W of the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL 2. In other words, the 3 rd front-rear folding line FL3 may be formed along the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL 2. Fig. 3 (D) shows a state of being folded with one 3 rd front-rear folding line FL3 of the pair of 3 rd front-rear folding lines FL3 as a base point, and fig. 3 (E) shows a 3 rd folded state of being folded with both the pair of 3 rd front-rear folding lines FL3 as a base point. In the 3 rd step, the folded package sheets 100 may be folded so as to overlap each other, and the overlapped package sheets 100 may be joined to each other by the package joining part 101. By joining the package sheets 100 to each other via the package joining portion 101, the folded package sheets can be maintained in a folded state without being unfolded, and the absorbent article 10 can be stored in a more compact manner.

Next, the manufacturing method includes, after the 3 rd step, a 4 th step of folding the package sheet 100 and the absorbent article 10 with a width folding line FW extending in the width direction W as a base point. In the 4 th step, the absorbent article 10 and the packaging sheet 100 are folded with the 1 st width folding line FW1 as a base point. Fig. 3 (F) shows the 4 th folded state folded from the 1 st width folding line FW 1. The 4 th step may include a step of folding the absorbent article 10 and the package sheet 100 with the 2 nd width folding line FW2 as a base point in the 4 th folded state. Fig. 3 (G) shows the 5 th folded state folded from the 2 nd width folding line FW 2. In this way, the absorbent article 10 can be individually packaged by the packaging sheet 100, and the package 1 can be formed compactly. The absorbent article 10 during use is formed into a habitual fold formed by the front and rear fold lines FL and the width fold line FW.

At least a portion of the front and back folding lines FL of the plurality of front and back folding lines may overlap with the absorbent core 31. In the present embodiment, the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 and the 3 rd front-rear folding line FL3 overlap the absorbent core 31, and the 1 st front-rear folding line FL1 does not overlap the absorbent core 31. By folding the absorbent core 31 with the front-rear folding line FL, the length of the absorbent article 10 in the width direction W in the folded state can be easily shortened, as compared with a structure in which the front-rear folding line FL does not overlap the absorbent core 31. Therefore, even if the length of the product in the width direction W is relatively long, the absorbent article 10 can be compactly stored before use.

The 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 folds the absorbent core 31 in the crotch region S3 so that the skin-side surfaces of the absorbent core 31 face each other. In other words, the 2 nd front-back folding line FL2 is a folding line that overlaps the absorbent core 31 and folds the absorbent core 31 inward. Since the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 is a folding line in which the skin surface sides of the absorbent article 10 are folded so as to face each other, the region on the outer side in the width direction W than the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 stands up toward the wearer due to habitual bending during use. Therefore, the side portion of the absorbent core 31 in the width direction W in the crotch region S3 is deformed so as to rise toward the wearer by being bent habitually. Even when the absorbent core 31 is deformed so as to be separated from the crotch of the wearer by the habitual bending of the width folding line FW, the side of the crotch of the wearer can be covered by the habitual bending of the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2, and side leakage can be suppressed. The 1 st front-rear folding line FL1 may overlap with the absorbent core 31 in at least the crotch region S3, or may overlap with the absorbent core 31 over the entire region of the absorbent core 31 in the front-rear direction L as in the present embodiment.

An absorbent article such as a diaper is configured to hold excrement such as urine irregularly excreted, and is preferably configured to be arranged in the crotch region so as not to closely adhere to the body, unlike a structure in which menstrual blood intermittently excreted is held like a sanitary napkin. The 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 may be located at the center 31WC in the width direction W of the absorbent core 31. With this structure, the center 31WC of the absorbent core 31 in the width direction W is separated from the wearer and is deformed so as to rise toward the wearer side with the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 interposed therebetween. At this time, the vicinity of the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 is separated from the body, and a space for holding the bodily fluid can be secured. More preferably, a pair of 2 nd front-rear folding lines FL2 may be provided across the center 31WC of the absorbent core 31 in the width direction W. The center 31WC in the width direction W of the absorbent core 31 may coincide with the center in the width direction W of the absorbent article 10. With this configuration, the region located outside the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 stands up with respect to the region sandwiched by the pair of 2 nd front-rear folding lines FL2, and the cross section along the width direction is formed in a cup shape. The region sandwiched by the pair of 2 nd front-rear folding lines FL2 is easily arranged along the crotch region without being in close contact with the body, and a space for holding bodily fluids can be secured by the cup shape. Further, the region outside the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 stands up, and thus side leakage can be suppressed.

The 1 st front-rear folding line FL1 may be a folding line that is located further outward in the width direction than the absorbent core in the unfolded state and folds the absorbent article so that the skin surface sides of the absorbent article face each other. The 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 can fold the absorbent core 31 in the 1 st folded state folded with the 1 st front-rear folding line FL1 as a base point. In a state where the absorbent article 10 is folded with the 1 st front-rear folding line FL1 as a base point and the length of the absorbent article 10 in the width direction is shortened, the length of the absorbent article 10 in the width direction can be further shortened by folding the absorbent article 10 with the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 as a base point. Therefore, the length of the absorbent article 10 in the width direction W before use can be further shortened. The habitual fold formed by the 1 st front-rear folding line FL1 is a habitual fold in which the skin surface sides of the absorbent article 10 face each other. Both sides across the 1 st front-rear folding line FL1 in the width direction W can be raised toward the body, and the fit when worn can be improved.

The packaging sheet 100 may be folded with the 3 rd front-rear folding line FL3 as a base point after the absorbent article 10 is folded with the 1 st front-rear folding line FL1 and the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 as a base point. With this configuration, the absorbent article 10 once folded can be folded again. Therefore, it can be folded more compactly. In particular, the present invention can be suitably applied to an absorbent article having a relatively long length in the width direction, such as a disposable diaper.

The width folding line FW can fold the absorbent article 10 in the 2 nd folded state folded with the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 as a base point. As described above, the 2 nd folded state may be a state in which the 1 st front-rear folding line FL1 and the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 are folded from the base point, and may be a state in which the 1 st front-rear folding line FL1 is not included, and the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 is only folded from the base point. By folding with the width folding line as a base point, the length of the absorbent article 10 in the front-rear direction L can be further shortened while the length of the absorbent article 10 in the width direction W is shortened. The absorbent article 10 can be compactly stored before use. Further, since the folding is performed with the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 and thereafter with the width folding line FW as a base point, the habitual bending of the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 is easily formed stronger and the folded state is easily maintained. Therefore, the effect of suppressing the side leakage by the habitual bending is more easily obtained.

A pair of width folding lines FW may be provided at intervals in the front-rear direction L. In other words, the width folding line FW may have a 1 st width folding line FW1 and a 2 nd width folding line FW2 that are divided in the front-rear direction L. The length of the absorbent article 10 in the front-rear direction L can be further shortened, and the absorbent article 10 can be compactly stored before use.

As shown in fig. 2, the package 1 may have a temporary joint portion 50. The temporary joining portion 50 is in contact with the absorbent article 10 and the package sheet 100, respectively, and temporarily joins the absorbent article 10 and the package sheet in a packaged state before use. By providing the temporary joining portion 50, the folded state of the absorbent article 10 can be maintained by the packaging sheet 100, and the absorbent article 10 can be stored more compactly before use. In addition, the relative positions of the package sheet 100 and the absorbent article 10 can be fixed by the temporary joining portions 50, and folding can be performed stably. The bonding strength of the temporary bonding portion 50 to the package sheet 100 is higher than the bonding strength of the temporary bonding portion 50 to the absorbent article 10. The temporary joint 50 has a high joint strength with respect to the package sheet 100 and a low joint strength with respect to the absorbent article 10. Therefore, when the absorbent article 10 is peeled off from the package sheet 100 at the time of use, the temporary joint portion 50 is likely to remain on the package sheet 100 side. Since the temporary joint section 50 is not attached to the absorbent article 10 during use, it is possible to suppress a sense of discomfort caused by the temporary joint section 50 being disposed on the non-skin surface side of the absorbent article 10 during use.

The temporary joint section 50 can temporarily join the non-skin surface of the absorbent article and the inner surface (absorbent article side surface) of the packaging sheet 100. The number of the temporary joint portions 50 may be at least 1, but preferably, a plurality of the temporary joint portions may be provided separately in the front-rear direction L and a plurality of the temporary joint portions may be provided separately in the width direction W. The temporary joining portion 50 may be an adhesive such as a hot-melt adhesive or a mechanical fastener such as a hook member. For example, it may be configured such that: a hook sheet having a hook member is joined to the inner surface of the packaging sheet, and the hook member is temporarily joined to the nonwoven fabric constituting the non-skin side sheet 25 of the absorbent article.

The temporary joint portion 50 may be disposed in a region overlapping with the absorbent core 31. The absorbent core 31 is also a relatively high rigidity member in the absorbent article 10. By fixing the region overlapping the relatively high-rigidity absorbent core 31 to the package sheet 100 by the temporary joining section 50, the positions of the absorbent article 10 and the package sheet 100 can be stabilized. The number of the temporary joining portions 50 of the present embodiment is 4, and the temporary joining portions are provided on both sides of the center 31WC of the absorbent core 31 in the width direction W and on both sides of the center 31LC of the absorbent core 31 in the front-rear direction L.

A pair of width folding lines FW may be arranged across the center of the rising portion 63 of the leakage preventing gather 60 in the front-rear direction L. The center in the front-rear direction L of the standing portion 63 of the leakage-preventing gather 60 may be the center in the front-rear direction L of the region where the leakage-preventing elastic member 61 is disposed in the contracted state, or the center in the front-rear direction L of the interval between the front end edge of the rear fixing portion 64A and the rear end edge of the front fixing portion 64C. At least a part of each of the temporary joints 50 may be disposed outside the width folding line FW in the front-rear direction L. More specifically, the 1 st width folding line FW1 is located rearward of the center of the rising portion 63 of the leak-preventing gather 60 in the front-rear direction L. Two temporary joints of the 4 temporary joints 50 are arranged on the rear side of the 1 st width folding line FW 1. The 2 nd width folding line FW2 is located on the front side of the 1 st width folding line FW1 and on the front side of the center of the rising portion 63 of the leak-preventing gather 60 in the front-rear direction L. Two temporary joints 50 of the 4 temporary joints 50 are arranged on the front side of the 2 nd width folding line FW 2. In the absorbent article 10, a force that stretches the packaging sheet 100 side is applied to the region overlapping the temporary joining section 50 in the unfolded state during use. The temporarily joined portion 50 is disposed at a position further outward in the front-rear direction L than the center in the front-rear direction L of the rising portion 63 of the leakproof gather 60, and is therefore stretched toward the packaging sheet 100 side by the temporarily joined portion 50. At this time, since the temporary joining section 50 is disposed outside the width folding line FW, the region outside the width folding line FW in the front-rear direction L is more easily expanded with the width folding line FW as a base point. Therefore, the rising portion 63 located between the width folding lines FW is easily raised. By improving the rising property of the leak-proof gathers 60, side leakage can be further suppressed.

At least a part of the temporary joint portion 50 may be located on the outer side in the front-rear direction L than the rising portion 63 of the leakproof gather 60 in the expanded state. The temporary joining portion 50 may be located on the outer side in the front-rear direction with respect to the rising portion 63 as a whole, or may be located on the outer side in the front-rear direction L than the region where the leakage preventing elastic member 61 is arranged in the contracted state. According to this structure, in the absorbent article, a force that stretches the package sheet 100 side is applied to the region overlapping the temporary joining section 50 in the unfolded state. The region on the outer side in the front-rear direction L than the rising portion 63 of the leakage preventing gather 60 is pulled toward the package sheet 100 by the temporary joining portion 50, whereby the rising portion 63 is easily raised. By improving the rising property of the leak-proof gathers 60, side leakage can be further suppressed.

The present invention has been described in detail with reference to the above embodiments, but it is obvious to those skilled in the art that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in the present specification. The present invention can be implemented as modifications and variations without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention defined by the claims. Therefore, the description of the present specification is for illustrative purposes, and does not have any limiting meaning to the present invention.

In the above-described embodiment, the pair of 2 nd front-rear folding lines FL2 constituting the core front-rear folding line is provided, but it is not necessary to provide the pair. That is, at least one core front-rear folding line may be formed. In the above embodiment, after the absorbent article is folded with the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 as a reference point, the package sheet is folded with the 3 rd front-rear folding line FL3 as a reference point. However, in the modified example, both the absorbent article and the packaging sheet may be folded at the same time with the 2 nd front-rear folding line as a base point. In the modification, the article may be folded without the 1 st front-rear folding line FL1 constituting the front-rear folding line of the article with the 2 nd front-rear folding line FL2 as a base point in the unfolded state. In the modification, the 3 rd front-rear folding line FL3 for folding the package sheet 100 may not be provided, and the absorbent article 10 may be folded and then stored in a bag-shaped package sheet. In the modification, the width folding line FW may be provided not only with both the 1 st width folding line FW1 and the 2 nd width folding line FW2, or with a number of folding lines equal to or larger than the 3 rd width folding line. In the modification, the front-rear folding lines FL may be provided with the number of folding lines equal to or greater than the 4 th front-rear folding line.
