Technical Field

The present invention relates to wire harnesses.

Background

Conventionally, as a wire harness used for vehicles such as hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles, a wire harness in which the outside of a wire member is covered with an exterior member such as a corrugated tube or a resin tube is known. Such a wire harness is sometimes disposed under a vehicle floor or the like and exposed to the outside, and therefore is covered with various exterior members and a foamed member is interposed between the exterior members to prevent foreign matter such as sand from entering between the exterior members and the wire members (see, for example, patent document 1). In such a configuration, damage to the wire member due to friction with foreign matter such as sand or the like over a long period of time can be reduced.

Disclosure of Invention

Problems to be solved by the invention

However, the wire harness as described above may be mounted to a vehicle such that the wire member is led out from one end portion of the exterior member and a part of the wire member is exposed. Further, foreign matter such as sand or stone enters between the exterior member and the wire member, and causes damage to the wire member.

The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide a wire harness capable of protecting a wire member in a satisfactory manner.

Means for solving the problems

A wire harness for solving the above problems includes: an electric wire member; an exterior member through which the wire member is inserted; and a flexible cover having an exterior-side fixing portion that covers and fixes an outer peripheral surface of one end side of the exterior member to the outer peripheral surface, an electric wire-side fixing portion that covers and fixes an outer peripheral surface of the electric wire member led out from one end portion of the exterior member to the outer peripheral surface, and a connecting portion that is folded back from the exterior-side fixing portion so as to cover the one end portion of the exterior member, enters the interior of the exterior member, and is further folded back and connected to the electric wire-side fixing portion.

According to this configuration, the flexible cover can prevent foreign matter such as sand or stone from entering between the exterior member and the wire member. In addition, since the connecting portion of the flexible cover is folded back so as to cover the one end portion of the exterior member, angular friction between the wire member and the one end portion of the exterior member can be prevented. Further, since the connecting portion of the flexible cover is folded back twice or the like, the wire member is allowed to shift in the extending direction of the wire member with respect to the exterior member, and the large force can be suppressed from being applied to the exterior-side fixing portion, the wire-side fixing portion, and the wire member. Therefore, the wire member can be protected well.

Preferably, the wire member includes a wire having a core wire and an insulating coating portion coating an outer periphery of the core wire, and a braided member braided by a plurality of metal wire materials, the braided member surrounds the outer periphery of the wire, and a filling member is filled in a portion of the braided member inside the wire-side fixing portion.

According to this structure, the electric wire is electromagnetically shielded by the braided member. Further, since the filling member is filled in the braided member at the inner portion of the wire-side fixing portion, it is possible to prevent foreign matter such as sand or stone from passing between the metal wires and entering between the exterior member and the wire member.

Preferably, the filling member is also filled between the braided member and the electric wire.

According to this configuration, since the filling member is also filled between the braided member and the electric wire, it is possible to prevent foreign matter such as sand or stone from passing between the braided member and the electric wire and entering between the exterior member and the electric wire member.

Preferably, the flexible cover is formed with the connecting portion folded back twice in a state where no external force is applied.

According to this configuration, since the flexible cover is formed with the connecting portion that is folded twice without applying an external force, assembly is facilitated as compared with, for example, a case where a sheet-like flexible cover, in which the connecting portion that is folded twice is not formed at the time of forming, is assembled so as to form the connecting portion that is folded twice at the time of assembly. That is, since the shape of the connection portion is determined at the stage of forming, assembly becomes easier than in the case of adjusting the shape of the connection portion at the time of assembly.

Preferably, the flexible cover has a slit formed in a part of a circumferential direction.

According to this configuration, since the flexible cover has the slit formed in a part in the circumferential direction, for example, the flexible cover can be assembled from a direction orthogonal to the extending direction of the wire member in the vicinity of the exterior member, and the assembly is easier than a structure in which the slit is not formed.

Effects of the invention

According to the wire harness of the present invention, the wire member can be protected well.

Detailed Description

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the wire harness will be described with reference to fig. 1 to 4. In addition, in the respective drawings, a part of the structure is sometimes enlarged or simplified for convenience of explanation. Further, the dimensional ratio of each portion may be different from the actual one.

As shown in fig. 1, a wire harness 10 is a wire harness for electrically connecting two or more electrical devices (devices), and for example, an inverter 11 provided in a front portion of a vehicle V such as a hybrid vehicle or an electric vehicle is electrically connected to a high-voltage battery 12 provided behind the vehicle V with respect to the inverter 11. The wire harness 10 is routed so as to pass under the floor of the vehicle V, for example, and has one end connected to the inverter 11 via a connector C1 and the other end connected to the high-voltage battery 12 via a connector C1. The inverter 11 is connected to a motor (not shown) for driving wheels, which is a power source for running the vehicle. The inverter 11 generates ac power from the dc power of the high-voltage battery 12 and supplies the ac power to the motor. The high-voltage battery 12 is, for example, a battery capable of supplying a voltage of one hundred volts or more.

As shown in fig. 2 and 4, the wire harness 10 includes a wire member 20, and the wire member 20 includes: a plurality of (two in the present embodiment) electric wires 23 having a core wire 21 which may be a conductive metal and an insulating coating portion 22 which coats an outer periphery of the core wire 21; and a braided member 24 which is an electromagnetic shielding member surrounding the outer periphery of the electric wire 23 and is braided by a plurality of metal wire rods. In addition, the metal wire constituting the braided member 24 of the present embodiment is made of an aluminum-based metal material.

As shown in fig. 1, the wire harness 10 includes a metal pipe 25, a protector 26, and a corrugated tube 27 as an exterior member through which the wire member 20 is inserted. The metal pipe 25 is provided so as to cover the electric wire member 20 extending from the high-voltage battery 12 and disposed under the floor of the vehicle V. The protector 26 is provided so as to cover a bent portion of the electric wire member 20 on the inverter 11 side of the metal pipe 25. The bellows 27 is provided so as to cover the electric wire member 20 between the protector 26 and the inverter 11. In one example, the metal pipe 25 and the protector 26 are sometimes directly connected, and in other examples, the metal pipe 25 and the protector 26 are sometimes arranged with a gap therebetween. In some examples, the protector 26 and the bellows 27 are sometimes directly connected, and in other examples, the protector 26 and the bellows 27 are sometimes arranged with a gap therebetween.

As shown in fig. 2, wire harness 10 includes flexible cover 30. The flexible cover 30 includes: an exterior-side fixing portion 30a for covering and fixing an outer peripheral surface of one end side of the protector 26; a wire-side fixing portion 30b that covers and fixes the outer peripheral surface of the wire member 20 led out from one end of the protector 26; and a connecting portion 30c connecting the outer-cover-side fixing portion 30a and the wire-side fixing portion 30 b. The connecting portion 30c is folded back from the exterior-side fixing portion 30a so as to cover one end of the protector 26, enters the protector 26, and is further folded back and connected to the wire-side fixing portion 30 b.

As shown in fig. 3, the flexible cover 30 of the present embodiment is formed of an elastic member such as rubber, and the connecting portion 30c is formed so as to be folded back twice as described above in a state where no external force is applied, for example, in a separate state before being fixed to the protector 26 or the electric wire member 20.

Further, a slit 30d is formed in a part of the flexible cover 30 in the circumferential direction. As shown in fig. 3, the flexible cover 30 has a closed shape (also referred to as a closed loop shape) in which two abutting surfaces forming the slit 30d are closely fitted. The flexible cover 30 is elastically deformable from the closed shape of fig. 3 to an open shape (also referred to as an open loop shape or C-shape) in which a gap is formed between two abutting surfaces forming the slit 30 d. When the external force for opening the slit 30d is released, the slit 30d is closed by the elastic restoring force of the flexible cover 30. For example, the flexible cover 30 can be assembled to the protector 26 and/or the wire member 20 from a direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the wire member 20 in the vicinity of the protector 26, for example, from the side of the wire member 20 while enlarging the slit 30 d.

The outer-covering-side fixing portion 30a of the flexible cover 30 is fixed by a tape 31 wound around the outer-covering-side fixing portion 30a and the protector 26 in a state of covering the outer peripheral surface of the protector 26 on the one end side.

The wire-side fixing portion 30b of the flexible cover 30 is fixed by a tape 32 wound around the wire-side fixing portion 30b and the wire member 20 in a state of covering the outer peripheral surface of the wire member 20. The wire member 20 extending from the wire-side fixing portion 30b is inserted through the metal pipe 25, but the vicinity of the flexible cover 30 is fixed to the vehicle V so that it may be not covered with a waterproof member or the like and may collide with foreign matter such as sand or stone from the outside.

As shown in fig. 2 and 4, an adhesive 33 (shown in dotted hatching in fig. 2 and 4) as a filler is filled in a portion inside the wire-side fixing portion 30b of the braided member 24 of the wire member 20. In the present embodiment, the adhesive 33 is filled in the same range as the range in which the tape 32 is disposed in the extending direction (longitudinal direction) of the wire member 20. As shown in fig. 4, the adhesive 33 is also filled between the braided member 24 and the wires 23 (including between the wires 23). That is, the adhesive 33 is filled without a gap between the outer surface of the braided member 24 and the outer surface of the electric wire 23.

Next, the operation of the wire harness 10 configured as described above will be described.

For example, when the vehicle V is traveling, foreign matter such as sand or stone on the ground may fly and collide with the wire harness 10 due to bouncing caused by the rotating tire, traveling wind, and the like. Further, although foreign matter such as sand or stone may collide with the vicinity of one end of the protector 26 and the vicinity of the flexible cover 30, the flexible cover 30 may prevent the foreign matter from entering the protector 26.

Next, the effects of the above embodiment are described below.

(1) The flexible cover 30 prevents foreign matter such as sand or stone from entering between the protector 26 and the wire member 20. Further, since the connecting portion 30c of the flexible cover 30 is folded back so as to cover one end portion of the protector 26, angular friction between the wire member 20 (specifically, the braided member 24 constituting the outer surface thereof) and one end portion of the protector 26 can be prevented. Further, since the connecting portion 30c of the flexible cover 30 is folded twice or the like, the electric wire member 20 is allowed to shift in the extending direction of the electric wire member 20 with respect to the protector 26 due to vibration or the like, and large forces are prevented from being applied to the exterior-side fixing portion 30a, the electric wire-side fixing portion 30b, and the electric wire member 20. Therefore, the wire member 20 can be protected well.

(2) Electric wire 23 is electromagnetically shielded by braided member 24. Further, since the adhesive 33 is filled in the braided member 24 at the inner portion of the wire-side fixing portion 30b, it is possible to prevent foreign matter such as sand or stone from passing between the metal wires and entering between the protector 26 and the wire member 20.

(3) Since the adhesive 33 is also filled between the braided member 24 and the electric wire 23, it is possible to prevent foreign matter such as sand or stone from entering between the protector 26 and the electric wire member 20 through between the braided member 24 and the electric wire 23.

(4) The flexible cover 30 is formed with a connecting portion 30c) folded back twice in a state where no external force is applied, that is, in a separate state before being fixed to the protector 26 or the electric wire member 20). Therefore, the assembly is easier than, for example, a case where a sheet-like flexible cover, which does not have the twice-folded connecting portion 30c formed at the time of forming, is assembled so as to form the twice-folded connecting portion at the time of assembly. That is, since the shape of the connecting portion 30c is determined at the stage of forming, assembly is easier than in the case where the shape of the connecting portion 30c is adjusted at the time of assembly (the shape is adjusted while entering between the protector 26 and the wire member 20).

(5) Since the slits 30d are formed in a part of the flexible cover 30 in the circumferential direction, the flexible cover 30 can be assembled to the protector 26 and/or the electric wire member 20, for example, from a direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the electric wire member 20 in the vicinity of the protector 26, for example, from the side of the electric wire member 20, and the assembly is easier than a structure in which the slits 30d are not formed.

This embodiment can be modified as follows. The present embodiment and the following modifications can be combined and implemented within a range not technically contradictory to each other.

In the above embodiment, the wire member 20 includes the wires 23 and the braided member 24, but may be a wire member having another configuration as long as at least the wires 23 are provided. For example, the braided member 24 may be an electromagnetic shield member having another structure, and may be a wire member (only the wire 23) having no electromagnetic shield member. Further, the metal wire constituting the braided member 24 of the above embodiment is made of an aluminum-based metal material, but a copper-based metal material or the like may be used.

In the above embodiment, the adhesive 33 is filled in the portion inside the wire-side fixing portion 30b of the texture member 24, but the present invention is not limited to this, and a configuration may be adopted in which the adhesive 33 is not filled. The adhesive 33 is also filled between the braided member 24 and the wires 23 (including between the wires 23), but is not limited to this, and may be configured not to be filled between the braided member 24 and the wires 23. The adhesive 33 may be changed to another filling member as long as it has the same function.

In the above embodiment, the flexible cover 30 is formed with the connection portion 30c that is folded twice in a state where no external force is applied (i.e., in a separate state before being fixed to the protector 26 or the electric wire member 20), but the present invention is not limited to this, and for example, the connection portion that is folded twice may not be formed at the time of forming, and the connection portion that is folded twice may be formed at the time of assembling. In such a case, the material of the flexible cover 30 may be changed to another material that is flexible and bendable.

In the above embodiment, the flexible cover 30 has the slits 30d formed in a part in the circumferential direction, but the present invention is not limited to this, and a configuration in which the slits 30d are not formed may be adopted.

In the above embodiment, the outer-case-side fixing portion 30a and the wire-side fixing portion 30b are fixed by the tapes 31 and 32, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and may be fixed by other structures such as a binding tape. For example, the wire-side fixing portion 30b may be fixed by an adhesive 33 filled in the braided member 24.

In the above embodiment, the number of the electric wires 23 of the electric wire member 20 is two, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and one electric wire may be used, or three or more electric wires may be used.

In the above embodiment, the flexible cover 30 is provided at one end of the protector 26, which is one of the exterior members through which the electric wire member 20 is inserted, but it may be similarly provided at the end of another exterior member such as the metal pipe 25 or the corrugated pipe 27.

The arrangement relationship between the inverter 11 and the high-voltage battery 12 in the vehicle is not limited to the above embodiment, and may be appropriately changed according to the vehicle structure.

In the above embodiment, the inverter 11 and the high-voltage battery 12 are used as the electrical devices connected by the wire harness 10, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the present invention may be applied to a wire harness for connecting the inverter 11 and a motor for driving wheels. That is, any configuration may be applied as long as it is electrically connected between the electrical devices mounted on the vehicle.
