1. A seam folding device of a sewing machine is characterized by comprising:

a cloth guide plate arranged in front of the lower needle area of the sewing machine for guiding cloth to pass through the upper part of the cloth guide plate;

the first blowpipe is connected with a pneumatic source, comprises at least one air nozzle, is arranged between the lower needle area of the sewing machine and the cloth guide plate and is positioned below the cloth guide plate;

the cloth pressing foot comprises a pressing plate, a lower needle hole is arranged at the rear part of the pressing plate, and an air outlet is arranged at the front part of the pressing plate; and

and the second blowpipe is connected with the air pressure source and comprises at least one air hole, and the air hole is opposite to the air outlet of the pressing plate of the cloth pressing foot so as to guide an air flow to blow towards the cloth entering the cloth pressing foot from the air outlet.

2. The device of claim 1, further comprising a holder, the holder having a slot for holding the second blow tube and locking the holder to the presser foot.

The device of claim 1, wherein the front section of the presser foot comprises a first arc-shaped guide plate portion and a second arc-shaped guide plate portion, such that the first arc-shaped guide plate portion is located at one side of the second arc-shaped guide plate portion and in front of the second arc-shaped guide plate portion, and the air outlet is located on the first arc-shaped guide plate portion.

4. The device of claim 1, wherein the air outlet is a single hole or a plurality of holes.

5. The device of claim 1, wherein the first blowing tube has a plurality of nozzles.

6. The device of claim 1, wherein the second blow pipe is an air flow channel passing through a platen of the presser foot.

7. The device of claim 3, wherein at least one air tap of the first blow tube is directed toward the second arcuate guide plate portion.

The seam turner of a sewing machine as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a detecting means for detecting a change in thickness of the cloth to be sewn during feeding, so that when the thickness of the cloth is detected to a predetermined value, the air pressure source is turned on for a predetermined time or after the feeding stroke of the cloth, and the air flow is blown out along the first blow pipe and the second blow pipe.

Technical Field

The invention relates to a seam folding device of a sewing machine, in particular to a cloth pressing foot provided with an air pressure source for pressing cloth after folding seams are finished.

Background

During sewing of the clothes, protruding seam bones are generated at the abutted seam positions of the two pieces of cloth, and the seam bones are turned to one side through the inner folding seam parts and are sewn. In some clothes manufacturing requirements, the seam bone needs to be inverted to a specific side, so that during sewing, an operator needs to manually press the seam bone to the specific side before the seam bone passes through the lower needle area and then perform sewing, so that the whole sewing operation needs to be manually performed, the process is very complicated and time-consuming, and the improvement is needed.

Therefore, the utility model application No. 201820668180.4 entitled "guiding device for sewing machine seam" discloses a device which uses an upper blowing pipe 3 and a lower blowing pipe 4 to blow down the seam in a specific direction by the air flow generated by the lower blowing pipe 4 when the cloth enters the feeding area of the cloth pressing foot and the cloth feeding tooth, and the air flow generated by the other upper blowing pipe 3 presses the cloth with the seam folded over, and then the cloth enters the lower needle area for sewing by the clamping and feeding of the cloth pressing foot and the cloth feeding tooth. Detailed Description

The embodiments described below with reference to the drawings are illustrative only and should not be construed as limiting the invention.

Referring to fig. 1 to 8, the present invention relates to a seam folding device of a sewing machine, including: a cloth guide plate 10, which is arranged in front of the lower needle area N of the sewing machine and is used for guiding the cloth M to pass through the upper part of the cloth guide plate 10; a first blowing pipe 20 connected to a pressure source (not shown) and having at least one air nozzle 21, installed between the lower needle region N of the sewing machine and the cloth guide 10 and located below the cloth guide 10; a presser foot 30, which comprises a presser plate 31, a lower needle hole 311 is arranged at the rear of the presser plate 31 to define a lower needle area N of the sewing machine, and an air outlet 312 is arranged at the front of the presser plate 31; and a second blowing pipe 40, connected to the air pressure source, not shown, and having at least one air hole 41, wherein the air hole 41 is opposite to the air outlet 312 of the pressing plate 31 of the cloth pressing foot 30, so as to guide an air flow A2 to blow from the air outlet 312 toward the cloth M entering the cloth pressing foot 30.

In the seam folding device of the sewing machine disclosed in the present invention, the second blow pipe 40 can be a separate pipe material as shown in fig. 1, and can be a rigid pipe or a flexible pipe, but the present invention is not limited thereto; alternatively, as shown in FIG. 9, the second blow pipe 40 ' is a gas flow channel that is inserted through the pressure plate 31 ' of the presser foot 30 ' and is integrally formed with the presser foot as a single component. The shape of the second blow tube 40 is not a limitation of the present invention.

As shown in FIG. 3, the seam folding device of the sewing machine disclosed in the present invention is configured such that the cloth guide 10 can be moved by an actuating element 11 in a left L and right R direction in a direction perpendicular to the cloth feeding direction, so that the cloth guide 10 can be moved into the sewing area of the clothes or moved out of the sewing area of the clothes according to the sewing requirement. The actuating element 11 may be a pneumatic/hydraulic cylinder, an electromagnetic valve or a stepping motor, but the invention is not limited thereto.

As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the seam folding device of the sewing machine disclosed in the present invention further comprises a holder 50, wherein the holder 50 comprises a clamping groove 51 for holding the second blow pipe 40 and locking the holder 50 to the pressing plate 31 of the presser foot 30. The second blow pipe 40 may be fixed to the pressure plate 31 of the cloth presser foot 30 by welding, but the fixing method of the second blow pipe 40 and the cloth presser foot 30 is not limited in the present invention.

As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the seam folding device of the sewing machine of the present invention comprises a first arc-shaped guide plate 31a and a second arc-shaped guide plate 31b in front of a lower needle hole 311 of a presser foot 31, wherein the first arc-shaped guide plate 31a is positioned on one side of the second arc-shaped guide plate 31b and in front of the second arc-shaped guide plate 31b, and the air outlet 312 is positioned on the first arc-shaped guide plate 31 a.

As shown in fig. 6 and 8, in the seam folding device of the sewing machine disclosed in the present invention, at least one air nozzle 21 of the first blowing pipe 20 is directed to the second arc-shaped guiding plate portion 31b, so that the air flow a1 generated by the first blowing pipe 20 can cover the seam M2 region and the seam M1 region which are not covered by the seam M1.

Usually, when the clothes are sewn, the seam part at the edge of the cloth is folded inwards, so that the seam M1 covers the partial seam M2 and then sewing is carried out; when the present invention is applied, as shown in fig. 6 and 8, when the cloth M enters the cloth pressing foot 30, the area S1 of the seam M1 covering the seam M2 passes through the first arc-shaped guide plate 31a first, and at this time, the seam M2 is pressed by the air flow a2 from the air outlet 312 of the first arc-shaped guide plate 31a, and the seam M2 will not turn back, but will continue to advance toward the lower needle area direction along the original tilting direction, so that the cloth enters the lower part of the cloth pressing foot 30 through the guide of the second arc-shaped guide plate 31b, and is pushed by the cloth feeding teeth 30a to pass through the lower needle area N for sewing, and the uniqueness of the design of the first arc-shaped guide plate 31a and the second arc-shaped guide plate 31b of the cloth pressing foot 30 of the present invention is revealed.

Referring to fig. 2, the seam folding device of the sewing machine disclosed in the present invention is provided in which the air outlet 312 of the presser foot 30 is a single hole or a plurality of holes, and the present invention is not limited to the shape and number of the air outlets 312.

Referring to fig. 1 and 8, in the seam folding device of the sewing machine disclosed in the present invention, a plurality of air nozzles 21 are provided on the first blow pipe 20, but the present invention is not limited to the number and form of the air nozzles 21.

As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the seam folding device of the sewing machine disclosed in the present invention further comprises a detecting element 60 and a pressing element 70, wherein the detecting element 60 is disposed in front of the first blowing pipe 20, and the pressing element 70 is disposed between the detecting element 60 and the first blowing pipe 20 and located on the traveling path of the cloth, and is actuated by an actuating rod 71; the detecting component 60 is used to detect the thickness change of the cloth M to be sewn during feeding, when the detected cloth thickness reaches the set value (because the cloth at the seam is thicker), after the pressing component 70 is lowered to press on the cloth M according to the set time or the cloth feeding stroke, as shown in fig. 6, the air pressure source is turned on, the air flow is blown out along the first blow pipe 20 and the second blow pipe 40, the seam M2 located inside the cloth M is blown by the air flow a1 of the first blow pipe 20 to one side, the cloth M is pressed by the air flow a2 of the second blow pipe 40 near the second blow pipe 40, the seam M2 is stably inclined and placed over the cloth feeding tooth 30a, and then as shown in fig. 7, the cloth pressing foot 30 is lowered, the folded seam M2 is pressed by the pressed cloth pressing foot 30 and the cloth feeding tooth 30a except the air flow a2 generated by the second blow pipe 40, the double pressing effect is achieved, the situation that the seam M2 is reversely tilted or inclined in the sewing process is avoided, and then the pressing piece 70 is lifted to start the sewing operation.

The seam folding device of the sewing machine disclosed by the invention has the advantages that as the air outlet 312 is arranged on the pressing plate 31 of the cloth pressing foot 30, the cloth M which is folded by the seam M2 can be pressed by air before the cloth M enters the cloth pressing foot 30 and is not pressed by the cloth pressing foot 30 and the cloth feeding teeth 30a, and then the cloth which is folded by the seam M2 is tightly clamped by the cloth pressing foot 30 and the cloth feeding teeth 30a, so that the double pressing effect is achieved, the original seam which is folded by folding is completely avoided, the seam is reversely tilted, and the failure rate of sewing is reduced.
