However, the existing retarder equipment is installed in a railway marshalling yard, works continuously all day long under outdoor environment, and has the disadvantages of bad working condition, high use frequency and high load intensity. The main technical parameters of the retarder include braking performance, critical speed and the like, and under the condition that other technical parameters are determined, the factor for determining the magnitude of the braking power is mainly vertical reaction force, and meanwhile, the magnitude of the vertical reaction force also influences the shunting operation safety. In daily use, the conditions of water inflow, icing, deterioration and increase of hydraulic oil in the inner cavity of the sliding oil cylinder assembly of the retarder can be caused due to improper maintenance and repair caused by various reasons, so that the counter force of the retarder equipment is over-limited during working, and potential safety hazards are brought to shunting operation of a station yard.
