A lower leg support device (5) for a vehicle seat (1), having a carrier (8) and a lower leg support (6) which is displaceably arranged on the carrier (8) and which can be moved between a non-use position and a use position advanced along a longitudinal extension, wherein the lower leg support (6) has at least two supports (9, 10) which can be moved relative to one another for enlarging or reducing a lower leg support surface (11) of the lower leg support (6), characterized in that the supports (9, 10) can be displaced relative to one another transversely to the longitudinal extension in order to increase or reduce a width of the lower leg support surface (11).

2. The calf support apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that a first support (9) of the plurality of supports is displaceably arranged on the carrier (8) and at least one second support (10) of the plurality of supports is displaceably arranged on the first support (9).

3. The lower leg support device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that two second supports (10) are arranged displaceably on the first support (9) on sides of the first support (9) facing away from each other.

4. A calf support apparatus according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second support (10) is movable on the first support (9) from a retracted storage position into a pulled out use position and from a pulled out use position into a retracted storage position.

5. A calf support device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second support member (10) is movably supported on the first support member (9) by means of rail means (17).

6. Device for calf support according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one controllable actuator (21) is provided, which is assigned to at least the second support (10) for the displacement thereof.

7. The calf support apparatus according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the actuator (21) is coupled to the two second supports (10) by a transmission (24) for displacement of the two second supports.

8. A lower leg support apparatus according to any preceding claim, wherein said first support member (9) is longitudinally movably supported on said support frame (8).

9. A calf support device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first support (9) is provided with a controllable actuator (21) for longitudinal movement of the first support.

The lower leg support device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the actuator (21) fixedly connected to the first support (9) is coupled to a spindle shaft (22) which is fixed at one end side to the support (8), wherein the actuator (21) can be moved along the spindle shaft (22) by means of the control of the actuator.

The lower leg support device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the spindle shaft (22) is connected at the other end to at least one coupling link (23) which is connected, in particular articulated, to one of the second supports in an articulated manner, wherein the respective coupling link (23) encloses an acute angle with the spindle shaft (22) in the retracted storage position.
