Background

In the production of titanium dioxide by a chlorination method and a sulfuric acid method, drying equipment used at present is a flash evaporation dryer or a spray dryer, and the drying equipment has the defects of low drying speed and long drying time, so that the capacity is limited. The gas consumption of the equipment is high, the volume of the equipment is large, and the cost is high.

The invention aims to solve the technical problem of providing a drying method for preparing titanium dioxide dry powder, which has the advantages of high drying speed, high efficiency and low fuel gas consumption.

The method has the advantages that: the method comprises the steps of pre-crushing large materials into small materials by a crusher of a feeding groove in advance, avoiding blocking a screw conveyer, conveying and secondary crushing by the screw conveyer, reducing the crushing pressure of the crusher in a powerful dryer, feeding the small materials pre-crushed by the screw conveyer into the powerful dryer, strongly crushing the materials by the crusher in the powerful dryer, mixing the materials with hot air at a high speed, dispersing the materials as much as possible, and carrying out powerful drying by the hot air, refining and rapidly dehydrating the materials under the collision, friction and shearing actions of the materials and the materials, so that the drying speed is greatly improved, the drying time is shortened, the productivity is improved, and the fuel gas consumption is reduced by about 10% by calculation and the same evaporation water amount.
