Technical Field

The present invention relates to an improved natural fuel package, and more particularly to an improved natural blend for a fuel source having medicinal and therapeutic effects; and methods of making such mixtures.

Background

Conventional fuel packs or sources used for various activities such as cooking, heating, smoking, etc. emit smoke and aromas that are not always healthy for inhalation or beneficial for consumption.

Healthy cooking in particular requires not only the preservation of the flavor and nutrition of food, but also the addition of flavor and nutrition. In addition to physical effects, the food must substantially contribute to the improvement in mental health of the consumer and those preparing the food.

Conventional solid fuel sources for cooking or heating include wood, charcoal, peat, coal, hexamine fuel tablets, wood pellets, corn, wheat, rye, and other grains. Thus, wood charcoal from wood of common trees mixed with a binder is already known in the art. Food cooked on charcoal can have a unique flavor and is popular. Briquettes capable of sustained emission of aromatic volatiles during cooking of food on a heated bed of briquettes have also been disclosed, in particular those essentially using wood selected from: hickory, shrubs of the family leguminosae, apple wood, oak, maple, alder, cherry, sassafras, birch, ash (ash), willow, pine, and the like.

One of the major drawbacks of conventional solid fuel sources, and more particularly charcoal fuel packs, is that fumes emanating from the ignited fuel can be harmful to the respiratory system. Furthermore, they may be difficult to ignite and may not sustain combustion even after they appear to have ignited. To address this problem, conventional charcoal manufacturers often spray petroleum solvents to aid ignition. More commonly, consumers will use lighter fluids, kerosene, gasoline, or igniters to ignite the charcoal. The charcoal agglomerates thus often contain potentially harmful constituent materials such as chemicals in addition to wood or other major charcoal materials. However, excessive use of such combustible petroleum-based materials or other chemicals can impart undesirable aromas and flavors as well as chemicals to food. In addition, the use of lighter fluids may emit volatile organic compounds, which may have adverse short-term and/or long-term health effects. In addition, noxious fumes can be inhaled by bystanders around burning charcoal.

Summary of The Invention

In contrast, the present invention relates to a mixture for a fuel source that is 100% natural in both composition and ignition modes. The mixtures disclosed in the present invention do not suffer from the drawbacks indicated above in relation to the prior art solutions. The constituents of the mixture according to the invention are formed by the organs of plants of the genus Cinnamomum (Cinnamomum genus). Although it is known to produce charcoal from various types of wood, such charcoal does not contain cinnamon plant parts as a constituent element.

The benefits of the aroma emitted by parts of the cinnamomum plant are endless. Conventionally, essential oils obtained from the leaves and bark of cinnamon tree have several therapeutic properties or properties. The essential oils obtained from cinnamon leaves and bark irritate the body and soul. Cinnamon essential oil is also effective in reducing drowsiness, irritability, pain and frequent headaches in the treatment of depression. Inhalation of cinnamon aroma has proven useful in providing relief from infections in the respiratory system. It has been established that users of cinnamon essential oil experience an enhancement of their digestive, circulatory and immune systems. In addition to health benefits, cinnamon aroma also has a mosquito repellent effect. Thus, when the mixture is ignited, the aroma and fragrance emitted from the mixture soothes and reduces any physical or psychological discomfort to the person inhaling or eating it, eliminating any adverse effects that may be caused by smoke and chemical emissions present in the prior art disclosures.

Furthermore, the genus cinnamomum is a type of plant on which chemicals used to cultivate it are minimal to none and minimal to none when ignited. As a result, little ash is left upon combustion, which is also a significant advantage.

In the production of cinnamon branches/sticks and oil, most organs of cinnamomum plants become industrial waste and are therefore underutilized. Therefore, their use not only helps to protect the environment, but is also inexpensive.

In the present invention, the composition, which is preferably pressed into a block shape, consists of a mass of combustible wood particles and organ particles of cinnamomum, which are combined by pressing, whereby upon ignition, the particles undergo decomposition to release moisture, release an aromatic cinnamon aroma and a smoked cinnamon aroma, providing a therapeutic effect to a person who inhales and tastes aromas from the food.

The mixture can be used in many fuel sources such as barbecue briquettes, pellets, for smoking hookah, in fireplace, in boiler fuel for industrial use, as mixture for igniters, in bonfire, as mixture for making candles, as incense, as mosquito and insect repellent, etc.

The combustible wood particles may be obtained from any hardwood or softwood. In the present invention, wood particles from cinnamomum are preferable in order to maximize the effect of the present invention. The size of the wood particles may vary from bark, chipped to sawdust, depending on demand and availability.

The genus cinnamomum includes many species that can be used in the present invention such as cinnamon and the like. While other forms may be used, Cinnamon from stannum (Ceylon cinmamon)/Cinnamon from stannum (cinmamum Zeylanicum), Cinnamon from stannum (cinmamum Verum), will produce the greatest effect of the present invention because it is the purest form of Cinnamomum.

The granules of organs of plants of genus cinnamomum include leaves, stems, inner bark, chipped inner bark, sawdust inner bark, chipped outer bark, sliced cinnamon, cinnamon branches (culling), cinnamon powder, and flowers. Most of them can be obtained as by-products from the production of cinnamon sticks/branches and cinnamon essential oil.

Detailed Description

In one embodiment of the invention, the mixture comprises dried raw wood particles pressed together with dried raw wood particles of an organ of a cinnamomum plant. A binder may or may not be used in the mixture. The moisture in the primary particles is particularly helpful for bonding without the need for additional binders. The block may desirably be pressed between medium to high pressure at 100-300 ℃. The pressed block is then carbonized, ideally at 400-. The carbonization process carbonizes only the outer periphery of the block, leaving the original core behind.

In another embodiment of the invention, the mixture comprises wood particles that are carbonized and ground prior to being compressed with the dried primary particles of the organ of the cinnamomum plant. A binder may or may not be used in the mixture. The use of a binder is preferred in this embodiment because the carbonized wood particles lack sufficient moisture to aid in bonding. However, the use of cinnamon essential oils such as cinnamon leaf oil or bark oil or oily residues of these essential oils as binders will produce the greatest effect. However, other natural binders may be used instead of or in addition to the binder. A wide range of binders are commercially available. The binder serves to bind and intimately adhere the ingredients together during the mixing process and after pressing into the final form. Other suitable binder materials include water, natural clays, corn starch, wheat starch, corn flour, wheat flour, rice flour, tapioca flour, potato starch, essential oils, vegetable oils, and the like. The pressed blocks are then dried.

In all embodiments, the wood particles may be from any hardwood or softwood. However, the use of wood from plants of the genus Cinnamomum, in particular Cinnamon stannum (Ceylon cinmamon)/Cinnamon stannum (cinmamum Zeylanicum), Cinnamon stannum (cinmamum Verum), will enhance the effect by emitting a stronger Cinnamon aroma and taste. In addition, other ingredients such as flavorants, waste agricultural biomass/agricultural residues, renewable parts of trees and plants can be added to the mixture to enhance the aroma and therapeutic effect. For example, flavorants such as cardamom, clove, nutmeg can be added to produce a flavorant aroma and a smoky flavor. Also, waste agricultural biomass such as rice husk, corn cob, nutmeg husk, coconut husk, etc. can be added to the mixture. Nutmeg shells will produce a pleasant aroma, smoke nutmeg aroma and enhance the therapeutic effect, while coconut shells will control the level of heating. Waste products can also be effectively utilized in an environmentally friendly manner. For example, biomass materials produced in farms or farmlands (referred to as farmland-based residues) such as straw, sugarcane leaves, cocoa pods, tobacco stalks, soybean stalks/pods, corn stalks, and the like, as well as those produced during agricultural product processing (referred to as processing-based residues) such as rice husks, bagasse, corn cobs/bracts, coffee husks, peanut and cashew nut shells, and the like, can be used or added to the mixture.

Embodiments of the invention can be used with any fuel source for dry burners, including for barbeque briquettes, pellets, for smoking hookah, in fireplace, for fuel for industrial use boilers, as a mixture for igniters, for bonfire, as a mixture for making candles, as incense, as mosquito and insect repellent, and the like.
