Background

Since the use space of the home house is limited, the user may consider whether the size of the home appliance meets the use requirement of the home space when purchasing the home appliance, especially for a relatively small space area such as a kitchen and a toilet.

The conventional water heater generally uses two opposite end surfaces with the largest area as a mounting surface (the back surface of the water heater) fixed with an indoor wall and an operation surface (the front surface of the water heater) for a user to operate. Since the operation surface facing the user needs to be used by the user, an operation space for the user to stand on needs to be reserved in front of the front surface of the conventional water heater. No matter how the thickness of the water heater is optimized, the operation space required to be reserved in front of the water heater is not changed. Therefore, the traditional water heater structure design can cause great space waste.

This section is intended to provide a background or context to the embodiments of the invention that are recited in the claims. The description herein is not admitted to be prior art by inclusion in this section.

Detailed Description

In the following, only certain exemplary embodiments are briefly described. As those skilled in the art will recognize, the described embodiments may be modified in various different ways, all without departing from the spirit or scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the drawings and description are to be regarded as illustrative in nature, and not as restrictive.

FIG. 1 shows a block diagram of a water heater according to an embodiment of the invention. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the water heater includes:

the housing 1 has a first surface 11 and a second surface 12 disposed opposite to each other. And has two oppositely disposed side wall surfaces 13, the side wall surfaces 13 connecting the first surface 11 and the second surface 12. The first surface 11, the second surface 12 and the two side wall surfaces 13 together enclose the outer side wall of the housing 1.

The first face 11 is provided at the front end of the housing 1. A control panel is arranged on the first surface 11. The control panel is used for clicking operation of a user, so that the water heater is controlled to work. The second face 12 is provided at the rear end of the housing 1.

Wherein, the length of the first surface 11 is less than the height of the first surface 11, and the length of the second surface 12 is less than the height of the second surface 12. The first face 11 and the second face 12 each have an area smaller than that of the side wall face 13.

It should be noted that the directional words describing the embodiments of the present application can be used as reference in fig. 1 and 2. Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a housing 1 of a water heater, in particular a perspective view from the front end of the housing 1. That is, fig. 1 shows the front structure of the water heater. Fig. 2 shows another perspective view of the housing 1 of the water heater, in particular a perspective view from the rear end of the housing 1. That is, fig. 2 shows a rear structure of the water heater. The length of the first face 11 can be understood as the distance of the first face 11 between the two side wall faces 13. The height of the first face 11 is understood to be the distance of the first face 11 between the bottom face 14 of the housing 1 and the top face of the housing 1. The length of the second face 12 can be understood as the distance of the second face 12 between the two side wall faces 13. The height of the second side 12 can be understood as the distance of the second side 12 between the bottom side 14 of the housing 1 to the top side of the housing 1.

In one example, the first side 11 can be an operation side, and the operation space in front of the operation side is an operation space for a user to operate the water heater in a standing mode. The second side 12 and the side wall 13 may serve as mounting surfaces for securing the housing 1 to the environment. For example, the housing 1 is fixedly connected to a kitchen or toilet wall via a mounting surface.

In one example, the water heater comprises an inlet pipe 3 and an outlet pipe 5. The water inlet pipe 3 and the water outlet pipe 5 penetrate through the bottom 14 surface of the shell 1, and the horizontal distance between the water inlet pipe 3 and the water outlet pipe 5 and the first surface 11 is larger than the horizontal distance between the water inlet pipe 3 and the water outlet pipe 5 and the second surface 12.

In one example, the water heater comprises a water inlet pipe 3, an air inlet pipe 4 and a water outlet pipe 5. The water inlet pipe 3, the air inlet pipe 4 and the water outlet pipe 5 penetrate through the bottom 14 surface of the shell 1, and the horizontal distance from the water inlet pipe 3, the air inlet pipe 4 and the water outlet pipe 5 to the first surface 11 is larger than the horizontal distance from the water inlet pipe to the second surface 12.

In one embodiment, the bottom surface 14 of the housing 1 is provided with mounting holes at an end of the bottom surface 14 adjacent to the second surface 12. The inlet section of the water inlet pipe 3, the outlet section of the water outlet pipe 5 and/or the inlet section of the air inlet pipe 3 are inserted into the mounting holes.

The number of mounting holes can be selected as desired. For example, the inlet ends of the water inlet pipe 3, the air inlet pipe 4 and the water outlet pipe 5 may be inserted into one mounting hole, respectively, or may be inserted into the same mounting hole.

In one example, as shown in fig. 1-4, three mounting holes are provided on the bottom surface 14 of the housing 1. Three mounting holes are disposed at an end of the bottom surface 14 adjacent the second surface 12. The three mounting holes are respectively connected with the water inlet pipe 3, the air inlet pipe 4 and the water outlet pipe 5. Preferably, three mounting holes are spaced apart along the length of the second face 12.

Fig. 3 is an internal structural view of the water heater. The left direction of fig. 3 is the side of the front end first face 11 of the housing 1. The right orientation of fig. 3 is the side of the housing 1 on which the rear second face 12 is located.

In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, 5, the inlet conduit 3 has a first conduit 32 located in the housing 1 and connected to an inlet section 31 of the inlet conduit 3. The outlet pipe 5 has a second pipe 52 located in the housing 1 and connected to the outlet section 51 of the outlet pipe 5. The inlet pipe 4 has a third line 42 which is located in the housing 1 and is connected to the inlet section 41 of the inlet pipe 4.

The first, second and third pipelines 32, 52, 42 extend from the rear end of the housing 1 to the front end thereof.

In one embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, the first, second and third conduits 32, 52, 42 are horizontally spaced.

In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the housing 1 has a rectangular parallelepiped structure. The length of the cuboid is smaller than the width and the height of the cuboid. The second surface 12 and the first surface 11 are formed by planes surrounded by the length and the height of the cuboid. The side wall surface 13 is formed by a plane surrounded by the width and height of the rectangular parallelepiped.

As shown in fig. 1, the length of the rectangular parallelepiped can be understood as the distance from the left side wall surface 13 to the right side wall surface 13 of the housing 1. The width of the cuboid is understood to be the distance from the first face 11 to the second face 12 of the housing 1. The height direction of the rectangular parallelepiped can be understood as the distance from the bottom face 14 of the housing 1 to the top face of the housing 1.

In one embodiment, the second face 12 and/or the side wall face 13 is provided with a fixing seat 10. The fixing seat 10 is used for connecting the shell 1 with a wall body, so that the water heater is installed and fixed.

In one example, when the mounting 10 is disposed on the second face 12, the water heater can be fixedly mounted to the wall through the second face 12. Since the areas of the second surface 12 and the first surface 11 are small, the installation space required is only the size of the space occupied by the first surface. The installation requirement of the water heater can be met by reserving a slender rectangular space structure on the wall surface. The space for the arms of the user to move is reserved in front of the air conditioner, so that the space occupied indoors is greatly saved. Compared with the traditional water heater, the water heater saves at least 50% of occupied space.

In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the heat exchanger 6 is further provided in the housing 1. The heat exchange device 6 is connected with the water inlet pipe 3 and the water outlet pipe 5. The heat exchange device 6 is used for heating the water flowing into the water inlet pipe 3.

In one example, the heat exchanging device 6 comprises a water heat exchanging element 61. The water heat exchange element 61 and the water outlet pipe 5. The water heat exchange element 61 is also connected to the inlet pipe 3 via the proportional valve module 8. The water heat-exchanging member 61 is externally fitted with a first housing 62.

In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the combustion device 7 is further included and is disposed in the housing 1. The combustion device 7 is connected with the air inlet pipe 4 and the heat exchange device 6. The combustion device 7 heats the water heat exchange device 61.

In one example, the combustion device 7 is connected to a direct current fan 71. The combustion device 7 is connected with the intake pipe 4 through a proportional valve module 8.

In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, a smoke collection chamber 9 is further included. The smoke collecting cavity 9 is arranged at the upper part of the heat exchange device 6 and is connected with the heat exchange device 6.

In one example, the control device 2 is further included, and the control device 2 is electrically connected with the heat exchanging device 6, the combustion device 7 and the control panel.

The configurations of the heat exchanging device 6 and the combustion device 7 of the above embodiments can be adopted in various technical solutions known to those skilled in the art now and in the future, and will not be described in detail here.

In one example, the water heater of the embodiments of the present application can be used as a gas water heater (e.g., a wall-mounted heating stove) or as an electric water heater (e.g., an electric wall-mounted heating stove), for example. When a gas water heater, it may comprise a water inlet pipe 3 and a water outlet pipe 5. When an electric water heater is used, it may include an inlet pipe 3, an inlet pipe 4 and an outlet pipe 5.
