1. A wearable protective device (1) comprising:

a modular frame (3) having at least two shaped members (4A, 4B, 4C);

hinge means (9) for hinging said forming members (4A, 4B, 4C) between said forming members (4A, 4B, 4C) at respective hinge points (5) and about respective axes of rotation (X), each of said hinge means (9) comprising a pivot element (12) and a disc element (13);

characterized in that the pivot element (12) and the disc element (13) are permanently coupled by riveting of the pivot element (12), and in that the pivot element (12) is flush with the disc element (13) after riveting.

2. Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the pivot element (12) comprises a portion (18) and the disc element (13) comprises a central through hole (21); the portion (18) is designed to be inserted into the hole (21) and the portion (18) is designed to be deformed by riveting into the hole (21).

3. Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 2, characterized in that the central through hole (21) has an inner wall (22), said portion (18) being designed to deform against said inner wall (22) after riveting.

4. Wearable protection device according to claim 3, characterized in that the central through hole (21) has an increased volume designed to accommodate the portion (18) of the pivot element (12) once the portion (18) of the pivot element (12) is riveted and deformed.

5. Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 3, characterized in that the inner wall (22) has a frusto-conical cross-section with a flared edge (23).

6. Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 2, characterized in that the pivot element (12) comprises a first axial protrusion (14) having the portion (18) and the disc element (13) comprises a second axial protrusion (24) configured to couple with the first axial protrusion (14).

7. Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 6, characterized in that the first axial protrusion (14) has a first portion (17) with an external thread and the second axial protrusion (24) is hollow and has an internal thread (26) for inserting and screwing in the first portion (17).

Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the modular frame (3) comprises an upper shaped member (4A), a lower shaped member (4B) and an intermediate shaped member (4C); the intermediate forming member (4C) is configured to connect the upper forming member (4A) and the lower forming member (4B), each of the forming members (4A, 4B, 4C) having a pair of brackets (10) designed to be superimposed on corresponding brackets (10) of the different forming members (4A, 4B, 4C) and hinged thereto by respective hinge means (9).

Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that a first shaped member (4A, 4B) comprises an elongated eyelet (11), said pivot element (12) being fixed to a second shaped member (4C) at a hinge point (5) such that a first axial projection (14) of said pivot element (12) is adapted to be inserted inside said elongated eyelet (11) of said first shaped member (4A, 4B) and to be coupled with a corresponding second axial projection (24) of said disc element (13).

10. Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 8, characterized in that each of the brackets (10) corresponding to one of the shaped members (4A, 4B, 4C) is provided with an elongated eyelet (11).

11. Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the pivot element (12) comprises a base (15) designed to be fixed to one of the at least two shaped members (4A, 4B, 4C).

12. Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 11, characterized in that the pivot element (12) comprises an abutment portion (19) between the base (15) and the first portion (17) of the pivot element (12), said abutment portion (19) having an annular flange (20) for abutting an end (27) of a respective axial protrusion (24) of the disc element (13).

13. Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 12, characterized in that the axial protrusion (24) protrudes from an abutment surface (25).

14. Wearable protection device (1) according to claim 1, characterized by comprising a connection device (2) for connecting the wearable protection device (1) to a wearable item, the connection device (2) being identical to the hinge device (9).

15. Method for assembling a wearable protection device (1) according to one or more of the preceding claims, comprising the steps of:

a) providing at least two forming members (4A, 4B, 4C), a first forming member (4C) having at least one pivot element (12) fixed thereto at a hinge point (5) and a second forming member (4A, 4B) having an eyelet (11);

b) superimposing the first forming member (4C) onto the second forming member (4A, 4B) provided with an eyelet (11) and inserting the pivot element (12) in the eyelet (11);

c) coupling the disc element (13) to the pivot element (12) passing through the aperture (11), the pivot element (12) having a portion (18) protruding from the disc element (13);

d) riveting said portion (18) of said pivot element (12) to allow permanent coupling of said portion (18) of said pivot element (12) with said disc element (13) and to make said portion (18) flush with respect to said disc element (13).

16. Motorcycle boot (B) comprising a wearable protection device (1) according to one or more of claims 1 to 14.
