A method of installing trays in a tray column in a horizontal or near horizontal position, comprising:

a) providing a plate tower, wherein the tower bottom of the plate tower is formed by welding a lower end enclosure and a cylinder body, the plate tower is horizontally placed or nearly horizontally placed, and support rings are welded in the cylinder body at set intervals;

b) providing a tower plate provided with a pedestrian passageway, wherein the outer edge of the tower plate is at least partially overlapped with the inner edge of the support ring;

c) the method comprises the following steps of (1) entering a cylinder from the open top of a plate tower, installing a plate from the bottom of the tower, and fixing the plate on one side, facing the top of the tower, of a support ring;

d) providing a pedestrian passageway cover plate, wherein the outer edge of the pedestrian passageway cover plate is at least partially overlapped with the inner edge of the pedestrian passageway, and the pedestrian passageway cover plate is fixed on one side, facing the tower top, of the tower plate;

e) repeating the steps b-d, and installing the tower plates which are close to one side of the tower top from the tower bottom until the last tower plate on the tower top is installed;

f) the top of the cylinder is sealed.

The method of claim 1, wherein: and c, forming a first through hole in the tower plate, wherein the first through hole is positioned near the edge of the tower plate coinciding with the support ring, and fixing the tower plate and the support ring through the first through hole and a first fixing device.

The method of claim 1 or 2, wherein: and d, forming a second through hole in the tower plate, wherein the second through hole is positioned near the edge of the pedestrian passageway cover plate coincident with the tower plate, and fixing the pedestrian passageway cover plate and the pedestrian passageway through the second through hole and a second fixing device in the step d.

The method of claim 2, wherein: and welding the tower plate and the support ring together by welding.

The method of claim 3, wherein: and welding the pedestrian passageway cover plate and the pedestrian passageway together in a welding mode.

A method according to claim 4 or 5, wherein the manner of welding comprises continuous welding or spot welding.

The method of claim 2, wherein the first fixing means comprises a first bolt, a first slide, and a first nut, and the fixing method comprises:

a) placing the first slip sheet on one side of the support ring facing the tower bottom, wherein the first slip sheet is partially overlapped with the support ring;

b) the first bolt sequentially penetrates through a first through hole in the tower plate and a first sliding sheet arranged on the tower plate along the direction from the tower top to the tower bottom;

c) and installing the first nut in the direction from the tower bottom to the tower top, and screwing.

The method of claim 3, wherein the second fixing device comprises a second bolt, a second slide, and a second nut, and the fixing method comprises:

a) passing the second bolt through a second through hole in the tray in a direction from the bottom to the top of the tower;

b) placing a pedestrian passage cover plate, and placing the second sliding sheet on one side of the pedestrian passage cover plate facing the tower top, wherein the second sliding sheet is partially overlapped with the pedestrian passage cover plate;

c) along the direction from the tower bottom to the tower top, the second bolt continuously passes through the second slip sheet after passing through the second through hole on the tower plate;

d) and installing the second nut in the direction from the top to the bottom of the tower, and screwing.

The method of claim 1, wherein the manway cover plate is provided with a gas channel.

The method of claim 1, wherein the support ring and/or the trays are fan-shaped.

The method of claim 1, wherein the trays of the tray column comprise bubble cap trays, valve trays, sieve trays, tongue trays, mesh trays, vertical sieve trays, multi-downcomer trays, linde sieve trays, non-overflow trays, cross-flow corrugated trays.

The process of claim 1, wherein the trays of the tray column can be split or folded into several smaller trays.

A plate tower suitable for the method of claim 1, which comprises a cylinder, a head, a tower plate provided with a pedestrian passage and a pedestrian passage cover plate, and is characterized in that the cylinder of the plate tower is not provided with a manhole.

A tray tower suitable for the method of claim 3, wherein the support rings are welded at predetermined intervals inside the column body of the tray tower, the tray is provided with a pedestrian passageway, a pedestrian passageway cover plate is provided, and the tray structure of the tray tower further comprises: a gas channel; an overflow weir; a passage through which liquid flows from the upper tray to the lower tray; a downcomer; the tower plate is provided with a first through hole capable of being provided with a first fixing device, and the first through hole is positioned near the edge of the tower plate coincident with the support ring; and a second through hole capable of being provided with a second fixing device is formed in the tower plate, and the second through hole is positioned near the edge of the pedestrian passageway cover plate superposed with the tower plate.
