Therefore, the ideal mildew inhibitor should meet the following conditions in practical application: the bactericidal composition has extremely high killing capacity on various moulds, small using amount, wide application range and lasting effect; no harm to human and livestock, low toxicity or no toxicity, and no irritation to skin and eyes; the physical and chemical properties of the plastic are not affected; the stability is high, the heat resistance, the light resistance and the chemical resistance are good, the sublimation property is small, and the water, the oil or the solvent can not be easily pumped out; the compatibility with resin and other auxiliary agents is good, and no harmful chemical reaction occurs; the paint does not corrode metal or various materials and does not generate electric corrosion; no odor, light color and no pollution; convenient to use, low price.

The isothiazolinone derivative is a non-oxidizing bactericide with spectrum, high efficiency and low toxicity, and is commonly used in oil fields, papermaking, pesticides, cutting oil, leather, printing ink, dyes and leather making industries.

The incubation time for the test standard should be 28 days. If the sample shows a growth grade of 2 or more, the test may be terminated in less than 28 days.

as can be seen from the test results of test example 1, the control group of test example 1, to which no antifungal/antibacterial agent was added, showed rapid growth of mold, and the evaluation result according to the Standard ASTM G21 for mildew resistance test was 4, and the evaluation result of the plastic article of example 2, to which the antifungal/antibacterial agent of the present invention was added, was 0, indicating that the plastic article to which the antifungal/antibacterial agent of the present invention was added had a very good effect of the antifungal/antibacterial agent.
