The network device according to any one of claims 97 to 107, wherein the communication unit is further configured to send second information to the terminal device, where the second information indicates a second TA, and the second TA is used by the terminal device to adjust uplink synchronization.

The network device of claim 108, wherein the second information is information carrying a timing advance command TAC media access control element, MAC CE, or a downlink shared channel, DL-SCH, or wherein the second information is a random access response, RAR.

The network device of claim 108 or 109, wherein the communication unit is further configured to send second configuration information to the terminal device, and wherein the second configuration information is used to configure a first timer, and wherein during operation of the first timer, the terminal device adjusts TA according to the first information and the first TA.
