Disclosure of Invention

The application aims to provide a paint removing composition and a preparation method thereof, and aims to solve the problem that the wall surface is damaged due to the fact that a shovel is used for directly shoveling old wall finish paint at present.

Calcium chloride belongs to strong acid and strong alkali salt, has slight corrosivity on the old wall paint, and can further improve the penetrating capability of ether on a paint film by compounding the calcium chloride with the ether, so that the paint removing composition provided by the embodiment of the application has good removing efficiency on the old wall paint.

In the paint stripping composition provided by the application, the weight of calcium chloride is 0.2-0.5% calculated by 50-60% of the weight of ether, so that the paint stripping composition has good stripping efficiency on old wall finish and prevents the wall surface from being damaged.

Solvents may be flexibly adjusted with reference to techniques conventional in the art, including but not limited to water, organic solvents, and the like, and specifically with reference to the specific composition of the stripping composition.

On the basis of compounding the ether and the calcium chloride with specific weight, the concrete composition of the paint removing composition is further adjusted in the embodiment of the application, so that the comprehensive performance of the paint removing composition is improved.

In some embodiments, the solvent of the paint stripping composition is water, and the paint stripping composition further comprises an emulsifier selected from the group consisting of nonionic surfactants. The emulsifier is added into the paint removing composition to promote the ether and water to be fully and uniformly mixed, so that the stability of a solution system is improved. The emulsifier may be selected as is conventional in the art, and in some embodiments, the emulsifier is selected as a fatty alcohol polyglycol ether and/or octanol polyoxyethylene ether. In a specific embodiment, the emulsifier is fatty alcohol polyglycol ether, and the product model is Genapol X080.

In some embodiments, the paint stripping composition further comprises an anti-foaming agent selected from the group consisting of silicone and/or mineral oil. In a particular embodiment, the defoamer is selected from BYK-024, specifically a hydrophobic solid in polyethylene glycol and a mixture of a defoaming polysiloxane. The defoaming agent is added into the paint removing composition to quickly defoam and reduce the contact angle between the paint removing composition and the paint film of the old wall finish paint, so that the old wall finish paint is fully wetted by the paint removing composition, and the removal efficiency of the old wall finish paint by the paint removing composition is improved.

In some embodiments, the paint stripping composition further comprises a biocide comprising at least one of 2-bromo-2-nitro-1, 3-propanediol, 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CIT), and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT) to improve anti-corrosion performance of the paint stripping composition for storage. In a further embodiment, the biocide is selected from 2-bromo-2-nitro-1, 3-propanediol or a mixture of CIT and MIT.
