1. Effect pigment dispersion comprising a PVD aluminum pigment, a leafing additive and an oil suitable for skin care cosmetic or color cosmetic applications, wherein

a) The amount of PVD aluminum pigment is in the range of 8 to 30 wt%,

b) the amount of oil ranges from 70 to 90 wt%, each based on the total weight of the effect pigment dispersion, and

c) the leafing additive is partly adsorbed on the surface of the PVD aluminum pigment and partly dissolved in the oil as an excess additive, wherein the amount of excess leafing additive is in the range of 0 to 25 wt. -%, based on the weight of the PVD aluminum pigment.

2. The effect pigment dispersion according to claim 1, wherein residual organic solvent is present in an amount of less than 5% by weight of the total dispersion.

3. The effect pigment dispersion according to any of the preceding claims, wherein a filler selected from natural or synthetic mica, glass flakes, glass spheres, silica flakes, alumina spheres, alumina flakes or talc is additionally contained in said dispersion.

The effect pigment dispersion according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the weight of the PVD aluminum pigment, the leafing additive, the oil suitable for skin care cosmetic or color cosmetic applications, and the optional filler add up to at least 90 wt% based on the total weight of the effect pigment dispersion.

5. The effect pigment dispersion according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the amount of PVD aluminum pigment is in the range of 12.5 to 25 wt% and the amount of oil is in the range of 75 to 87.5 wt%, each based on the total weight of the effect pigment dispersion.

6. The effect pigment dispersion according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said leafing PVD aluminum effect pigment has a leafing agent adsorbed on its surface, said leafing agent being selected from the group consisting of

a) A phosphate ester of formula (I):

(R-O)m-P(O)(OR1)(3-m)(I) or

b) A phosphonate ester of the general formula (II):

R-P(O)(OR2)(OR3) (II)

wherein m is 1 to 3, and any mixtures thereof, and R, R1、R2And R3Has the meanings:

-R ═ C8To C20The linear and/or branched alkyl groups of the carbon chain of (a),

-R1h, having C1To C6Preferably C1To C3Wherein R is a linear and/or branched alkyl group of the carbon chain of (a), or a salt thereof, wherein R is a linear and/or branched alkyl group1May be the same or different in the case where m is 1, and

-R2=R3h, having C1To C6Preferably C1To C3Wherein R is a linear and/or branched alkyl group of the carbon chain of (a), or a salt thereof, wherein R is a linear and/or branched alkyl group2And R3May be the same or different, or

c) Fatty acids of the general formula (III)

R`-COOH (III)

Wherein R' is a group having C12To C26Preferably C14To C24Or a mixture thereof, or

d) An organofunctional silane according to formula (IV):

R``-Si(OR7)3(IV)

wherein R is7Is provided with C1To C4Preferably C1To C3Most preferably C1To C2And R' is a straight or branched alkyl moiety of a carbon chain having C8To C24Preferably C12To C18Linear or branched alkyl or aryl moieties of the carbon chain of (a).

7. The effect pigment dispersion according to claim 6, wherein said leafing agent is selected from the group consisting of

a) Phosphoric acid esters of the formula (I), where m ═ 1 or 2 or mixtures thereof, R1H and R is a group having C12To C18Linear and/or branched alkyl radicals of carbon chains of (1) or

b) Phosphonic acids of the formula (II) in which R2=R3H and R is a group having C10To C18More preferably C12To C16Linear or branched alkyl groups of the carbon chain of (a).

8. The effect pigment dispersion according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the amount of aromatic compounds in said oil is less than 0.5 wt% based on the total weight of the oil.

9. The effect pigment dispersion according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said oil suitable for use in skin care cosmetic or color cosmetic applications is selected from the following types:

a) by having C8To C36Triglycerides of glycerol fatty acid esters of average chain length of (a), these chains possibly being straight or branched and saturated or unsaturated, and mixtures thereof;

b) mineral oil of very high purity, in which the hydrocarbon chains have an average length of at least 14C atoms;

c) alcohols based on non-glycerol alcohols or hydrocarbyl (fatty) esters derived from a carboxylic acid component and a non-glycerol alcohol component according to formula (V):

wherein:

-x is an integer and x ═ 1 to 6, representing the number of acidic groups of the alcoholic component having more than one OH group,

-R4(COO) represents a carboxylic acid residue containing 2 to 40 carbon atoms, wherein R4Can be a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon chain or a phenyl group,

the integer y may be from 1 to 3 and represents the number of COOH groups of the original acidic component;

-R5represents a hydrocarbon-based chain derived from one or more alcoholic components containing from 1 to 40 carbon atoms, which may contain-CH2–O–CH2-an ether unit, or it may be or may comprise a PPG or PEG unit represented by formula (VI):

(CH2CHR6-O)n(VI)

wherein R is6Is H or CH3And n is 1 to 10;

d) fatty alcohols containing 12 to 26 carbon atoms;

e) synthetic ethers containing 10 to 40 carbon atoms; or

f) Dialkyl carbonates in which the two alkyl chains are the same or different.

10. The effect pigment dispersion according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said PVD aluminum effect pigment is a leafing pigment having a flat surface.

11. The effect pigment dispersion according to any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein said leafing PVD aluminum effect pigment comprises an embossed structure having a period of 5,000 to 20,000 lines/cm.

12. The effect pigment dispersion according to any of the preceding claims, for use as an effect pigment semi-finished product in skin care cosmetic or color cosmetic formulations.

13. Use of the effect pigment dispersions according to claims 1 to 11 as semi-finished products in skin-care cosmetic or make-up preparations.

14. A method of producing the effect pigment dispersion of claims 1 to 12, comprising the following successive steps:

a) providing a floating PVD aluminum dispersion in an organic solvent,

b) addition of an oil suitable for skincare cosmetic or make-up applications to the dispersion a) neutralization

c) The organic solvent is removed, optionally under vacuum.

15. A skin care cosmetic or make-up preparation comprising the effect pigment dispersion of claims 1 to 12, wherein the make-up preparation is preferably a lip make-up preparation or an eye make-up preparation.

16. A skin care cosmetic or make-up preparation according to claim 15 wherein the preparation is selected from the group consisting of:

a) a skin care formulation selected from the group consisting of lotions, moisturizers, pre-makeup creams, tanning creams, face masks and facial care products, body paints, men's skin care products, anti-aging creams, care creams, maintenance concealer creams (BB creams), skin color correction creams (CC creams) and spot-lightening concealer creams (DD creams);

b) a lip color cosmetic formulation selected from the group consisting of lip balm, liquid lip balm, lip cream, lip balm, lip gloss, lip balm, lip glaze, lip paint, lip balm, lip liner, lip scrub, and lip balm,

c) an eye make-up formulation selected from the group consisting of compressed eye shadow, eye shadow cream, mousse eye shadow, eye shadow gel, cream/powder eye shadow, eye shadow pencil, liquid eye shadow, eye shadow powder, eye liner liquid, eye liner cream, eye liner gel, mascara, eyebrow gel, eyebrow pencil, chopper eyebrow pencil, eye liner or mascara base.

17. A method of producing a skin care cosmetic or make-up preparation according to claim 15 or claim 16, comprising the steps of:

a) phase a is prepared by mixing typical ingredients specific to the formulation,

b) providing phase B comprising the effect pigment dispersion of claims 1 to 12,

c) mixing and homogenizing phase A and phase B, optionally at a temperature above 20 deg.C under low mechanical stress, and finally

d) The formulation is poured or filled into suitable containers or packages.
