Background
Sensor assemblies for vehicles are known from the prior art, which each have a wheel sensor with at least one sensor element for each wheel. The individual wheel sensors are usually connected via twisted wire pairs to control units for the vehicle brake system, which, for example, execute ABS, ESP, ASR and/or hill-hold functions (ABS: anti-lock braking system; ESP: electronic stability program; ASR: drive anti-skid control system). In general, a first connection of the at least one sensor element is connected to an energy source via a control device (high-side path) and a second connection of the at least one sensor element is connected to ground via a control device (low-side path). The sensor current flowing through the at least one sensor element is modulated with information about the number of revolutions and/or the rotational speed of the respective wheel, wherein the evaluation and control unit of the control device evaluates the sensor current detected between the at least one sensor element and ground.

Disclosure of Invention
The sensor arrangement for a vehicle having the features of the independent claim 1 has the following advantages: the sensor signals of the respective sensor elements are available in the first control device via a tap between the energy source and the sensor element (high-side path) and in the second control device via a tap between the sensor element and ground (low-side path), and can therefore be evaluated simultaneously by the two evaluation and control units. Embodiments of the invention provide a sensor arrangement for a vehicle, having a sensor element and at least two control devices, each having an evaluation and control unit and an energy source. It is particularly advantageous if the switching means comprise, at least for each connected sensor element, two diodes with a common node at which a supply voltage for the sensor element connected to the common node can be applied. Here, the first diode may connect the first energy source with the common node in the conducting direction and the second diode may connect the second energy source with the common node in the conducting direction, so that a supply voltage fed by the first energy source and/or the second energy source may be applied at the common node, wherein a higher voltage is achieved. This enables a simple and cost-effective implementation of a switching device which can automatically switch between voltage sources without a drive signal at the expense of a higher voltage drop.
Alternatively, the switching means may comprise, at least for each connected sensor element, two switching elements having a common node at which a supply voltage for the sensor elements connected to the common node may be applied.
