The working principle is as follows: the method comprises the steps that a to-be-connected paper or cigarette waiting test sample is placed on a measuring platform, the to-be-tested sample is fixed by measuring clamps on two sides of a measuring platform path, a power supply is turned on, a focal length adjusting signal is input into a control system by an input device, the control system transmits the signal to an electric lifting rod to adjust the focal length until the focal length is adjusted to be proper, meanwhile, a microscope objective of a camera device is guaranteed to be aligned to a light source between a base and the measuring platform, then the camera device starts to collect information of the to-be-tested sample, the collected image information is transmitted to the control system through a control line, the control system carries out detection processing on the transmitted image information, a required measuring result is obtained quickly, and the detection result is transmitted to a display screen through the control line.
