Technical Field

The invention mainly relates to the field of tail gas aftertreatment structure design, in particular to a DPF cylinder assembly sealing structure.

Background

Diesel engines typically use catalytic mufflers to reduce harmful substances in the engine exhaust. With the limitation of particulate matters in the exhaust emission of diesel vehicles, the diesel particulate filter DPF is applied to a catalytic muffler on a large scale. The DPF captures particles through a filtering device with mixed surfaces and inner parts, can effectively purify 70% -90% of particles in exhaust, and is the most effective and direct method for purifying particles of a diesel engine. However, as the particulate matter in the DPF increases, causing excessive exhaust backpressure, the vehicle may initiate a regeneration process that burns the carbon particulates and hydrocarbons trapped in the DPF at high temperatures. Since incombustible ash exists in the particulate matters, the cylinder assembly for packaging the DPF is designed to be detachable so that the cylinder assembly for packaging the DPF can be detached for ash removal treatment after 80000 km. The existing commonly used disassembly and assembly structure is that a barrel flanging process is adopted, the two ends of a barrel for packaging the DPF and the barrel matched with the two ends of the barrel are both turned into bevel edges, and a V-shaped sealing ring and a V-shaped hoop are matched for sealing.

There are the following disadvantages:

the air leakage at the locking part of the V-shaped clamp is slightly large, and because the regeneration temperature of the DPF is over 600 ℃, after long-time accumulation, high temperature can damage surrounding components;

the V-shaped sealing ring is large in thickness and made of iron-based graphite, the conventional raw material of the V-shaped sealing ring is 2mm thick, the iron-based graphite used for flanging is 14mm thick, the material is soft, and the machining performance is poor, so that the V-shaped sealing ring is high in cost;

3. only the bevel edge of the cylinder body is matched with the V-shaped flanging of the hoop to resist radial vibration, the V-shaped sealing ring is soft and thick, and more importantly, the installation hoop is fixed on the cylinder body in front of and behind the DPF cylinder body assembly when the catalytic muffler is installed on a vehicle.
