An antibody that binds tropomyosin receptor kinase (TrkA) comprising a Heavy Chain Variable Region (HCVR) comprising Complementarity Determining Regions (CDRs) HCDR1, HCDR2 and HCDR3 and a Light Chain Variable Region (LCVR) comprising CDRs LCDR1, LCDR2 and LCDR3 wherein the amino acid sequence of HCDR1 is SEQ ID No.3, the amino acid sequence of HCDR2 is SEQ ID No.4, the amino acid sequence of HCDR3 is SEQ ID No.5, the amino acid sequence of LCDR1 is SEQ ID No.7, and the amino acid sequences of LCDR2 are SEQ ID No.8 and LCDR3 are SEQ ID No. 9.

2. The antibody of claim 1, wherein X at residue 10 of SEQ ID No.7aaIs A.

3. The antibody of claim 1, wherein X at residue 10 of SEQ ID No.7aaIs Q.

4. The antibody of claim 1, wherein the amino acid sequence of the HCVR is SEQ ID No.10 and the amino acid sequence of the LCVR is SEQ ID No. 11.

5. The antibody of claim 4, wherein X at residue 33 of SEQ ID No.11aaIs A.

6. The antibody of claim 4, wherein X at residue 33 of SEQ ID No.11aaIs Q.

7. An antibody that binds tropomyosin-receptor-kinase (TrkA), comprising a Heavy Chain (HC) and a Light Chain (LC), wherein the amino acid sequence of the HC is selected from SEQ ID No. 1and SEQ ID No.2, and wherein the amino acid sequence of the LC is SEQ ID No. 6.

8. The antibody of claim 7, wherein there are two HCs each having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID No.1, and wherein there are two LCs each having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 6.

9. The antibody of claim 8, wherein X at residue 33 of SEQ ID No.6aaIs A.

10. The antibody of claim 8, wherein X at residue 33 of SEQ ID No.6aaIs Q.

11. The antibody of claim 7, wherein there are two HCs each having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID No.2, and wherein there are two LCs each having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 6.

12. The antibody of claim 11, wherein X at residue 33 of SEQ ID No.6aaIs A.

13. The method ofThe antibody of claim 11, wherein X at residue 33 of SEQ ID No.6aaIs Q.

14. A pharmaceutical composition comprising an antibody of any one of claims 1-13 and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, diluents, or excipients.

15. A method of treating pain comprising administering to a patient in need thereof an effective amount of the antibody of any one of claims 1-13.

16. The method of claim 15, wherein the pain is one of post-operative pain, neuropathic pain, rheumatoid arthritis pain, and osteoarthritis pain.

17. The method of claim 15, wherein the pain is chronic pain.

18. A method of treating pain comprising administering the pharmaceutical composition of claim 14 to a patient in need thereof.

19. The method of claim 18, wherein the pain is one of post-operative pain, neuropathic pain, rheumatoid arthritis pain, and osteoarthritis pain.

20. The method of claim 18, wherein the pain is chronic pain.

21. The antibody of any one of claims 1-13 for use in therapy.

22. The antibody of any one of claims 1-13 for use in the treatment of pain.

23. The antibody for use according to claim 22, wherein the pain is one of post-operative pain, rheumatoid arthritis pain, neuropathic pain and osteoarthritis pain.

24. The antibody for use according to claim 22, wherein the pain is chronic pain.

25. Use of an antibody according to any one of claims 1 to 13 in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of pain.

26. The use according to claim 25, wherein the pain is one of post-operative pain, neuropathic pain, rheumatoid arthritis pain and osteoarthritis pain.

27. Use according to claim 25, wherein the pain is chronic pain.
