Technical Field
The invention relates to a device for an electric or hybrid vehicle, having a refrigerant circuit which can be operated as a heat pump for heating air for and/or in at least one part of the vehicle interior, and comprising: at least one compressor; at least one heat exchanger operable as a condenser or gas cooler; at least one expansion device and at least one further heat exchanger which can be operated as an evaporator, wherein the compressor power is adjustable. Such a device can be used in particular for electric or hybrid buses and rail vehicles. The invention further relates to a method for controlling such a system.
In a hybrid vehicle, one of at least two drive modes of the vehicle is electric. In an electric vehicle, the drive mode is purely electric.
Background
Devices for heating air for and/or in at least a part of the interior of a vehicle are known, which have a refrigerant circuit operable as a heat pump, wherein the compressor power is adjustable. Thus, EP1262347a2 discloses a device for heating or cooling the interior of a motor vehicle, in which the booster power, i.e. the power of the compressor, can be adjusted by adjusting the stroke volume or the booster speed. The regulation of compressors via a change in stroke volume is described, for example, in DE19607032a 1. In axial piston compressors, the displacement of the piston is changed via a tilting disk or a pivoting disk. Other solutions for adjusting the compressor power are also known. For example, when a cylinder bank is shut off, a bypass is opened via a magnetic valve between two adjacent cylinders facing each other. The first cylinder then pushes the gas volume into the second cylinder and vice versa. That is, a short-circuit connection of the refrigerant between the cylinders is then generated. The cylinder bank that is shut off does not deliver a gas stream into the apparatus. The switching on and off of the cylinder banks can be carried out at a higher frequency, so that in principle a stepless regulation of the compressor output is achieved. Another regulation, also referred to in EP1262347a2, is a valve-regulated, short-circuit connection of the refrigerant, which is designed as a bypass, whereby: hot gas overflows the pressure side of the compressor to the suction side. This gas volume flow does not contribute to the plant performance, but must also be delivered by a compressor. Therefore, the efficiency also decreases in this case. DE102006060259 describes the regulation of the compressor output by throttling the suction line of the compressor. The pressure and gas density at the inlet are thereby reduced, so that less mass flow is delivered and the power is reduced. A very similar way of action for the regulation of the compressor output is to provide the blocking of the suction chambers of the individual cylinders of the compressor, which is adjustable by means of magnetic valves, as disclosed in DE102014011343a 1. By adjusting the frequency level of the interruption by means of a magnetic valve, the compressor power can be adjusted approximately steplessly. However, in these different types of regulation, the compressor power either cannot be reduced to 0% at all or at least very inefficiently steplessly to 0%, or the very low compressor power is of no significance at least for a longer time due to the oil circulation in the plant. Thus, part load operation of the equipment is inefficient or insufficient when only the compressor power is regulated. The smaller the outside temperature is than the desired value for the temperature that the device operating as a heat pump should reach when heating the air in the vehicle interior, the lower the required thermal power and thus the lower the utilization of the device. The plant is then operated only at partial load. At least in central europe, this condition often occurs because the external temperature is usually significantly higher than the low temperature for which the device is designed in full load.
In DE202010007146U1, the device referred to here as a thermostat comprises, in addition to a refrigerant circuit which can be operated as a heat pump, two heat accumulators which can be thermally coupled to the refrigerant circuit. At least one of the heat accumulators can assist in this case in warming the passenger compartment by means of the heat pump, or can even temporarily take over said warming completely. However, such a device-side-only regulation by means of the use of a regenerator is likewise insufficient or inefficient for operation in the partial load range. Thus, the compressor in the exemplary embodiment disclosed in DE202010007146U1 is operated either at a certain power or switched off completely only in an unregulated manner.
The devices disclosed in DE19609048a1 and DE102012108317a1, respectively, although they comprise heat accumulators, comprise only one refrigerant circuit which, in the air-conditioning mode, is designed for cooling, but not as a heat pump for heating. In the vehicle air conditioning system disclosed in DE10146477a1, the refrigerant circuit can also be used as a heat pump for heating, but this heat storage system is merely a heat storage tank for the liquid coolant of the refrigerant circuit thermally coupled to the refrigerant circuit. DE102016117545a1 discloses a heating device with a heat pump and a heat accumulator, in one embodiment the compressor power is not adjustable, while in another embodiment the heat accumulator is not thermally coupled to the high-pressure range of the refrigerant circuit.
In contrast, EP1262347a2 discloses a device with adjustable compressor output, but the adjustment of the additional device side of the refrigerant circuit there up to the high pressure in the high pressure region of the first expansion element is too limited and inadequate in terms of its range and its type of adjustment. In the device disclosed in DE102014221930a1, only the control of the compressor power is carried out in order to regulate the refrigerant temperature.
That is, the present invention is based on the following problems: in the past, devices for electric or hybrid vehicles, which have a refrigerant circuit operable as a heat pump for heating air for and/or in at least one part of the vehicle interior, have been operated only inadequately at part load, in particular with regard to their efficiency, by means of an adjustable compressor capacity.
With regard to the provision of an electric or hybrid vehicle with such a device, corresponding problems are based.
A corresponding problem is also based on a method for controlling an apparatus for heating air of and/or in at least a part of a vehicle interior for an electric or hybrid vehicle.
Disclosure of Invention
The problem on which the invention is based is solved by the features of the embodiments. The problem is solved by: the device for an electric or hybrid vehicle is configured with a refrigerant circuit which can be operated as a heat pump for heating air for and/or in at least a part of the vehicle interior, and comprises: at least one compressor; at least one heat exchanger operable as a condenser or gas cooler; at least one expansion means and at least one further heat exchanger which can be operated as an evaporator, wherein the compressor power is adjustable, and wherein the device comprises a heat accumulator which is thermally or thermally coupled to a high-pressure region of a refrigerant circuit which can be operated as a heat pump, which heat accumulator has a phase change material as a heat reservoir, and/or the device comprises an adjustment of the high pressure of the refrigerant in the high-pressure region of the refrigerant circuit, which adjustment is designed to reduce the high pressure by an adjustable pressure value in the range of up to 50% of a design high Pressure (PS) or within a sub-range of the design high pressure, relative to a pressure value of the undeduced high pressure, wherein the pressure value of the high pressure of the refrigerant is higher than the evaporation pressure at 20 ℃.
The design high Pressure (PS) is the highest pressure specified by the manufacturer of the device for which the device or its high pressure range is designed. That is, the design Pressure (PS) is a limit value that should not be exceeded neither when the device is switched on nor when the device is switched off.
By means of the combination according to the invention of the compressor-side regulation and the device-side regulation with the heat accumulator and/or the high-pressure regulation according to the invention, the device can be controlled and operated effectively, in particular with regard to its operation in partial load, as there is a small difference between the outside temperature and the desired value of the vehicle cabin air temperature. This results in low energy consumption and thus low costs, in particular in partial load operation. As a result, the battery of the electric vehicle is only lightly loaded, so that the travel of the electric vehicle is increased. Furthermore, the risk is reduced that the compressor runs at too low a power or has to be clocked too frequently and thus may be damaged.
Advantageous embodiments, refinements and improvements of the respective subject matter of the invention are specified in the following description.
The device is preferably designed such that the compressor output can be adjusted via the rotational speed or frequency of the at least one compressor and/or via a short-circuit connection of the refrigerant between the cylinders of the at least one compressor by means of an adjustable valve and/or via a blocking of the suction chamber of the at least one compressor by means of an adjustable valve. These three designs for regulating the compressor power are particularly efficient and effective and less sensitive.
According to an advantageous further development, the system is also designed to be switchable to an air conditioning system for cooling air for and/or in at least a part of the interior of the vehicle, wherein at least the at least one compressor which can be used for operating the heat pump is also provided as at least one compressor in the refrigerant circuit for operating the air conditioning system. The device thus advantageously extends its field of application, wherein the advantages of being present as a heat pump, in particular in partial load operation, are likewise present as an air conditioning device, in particular in partial load operation. The efficiency of the device according to the invention is particularly good especially when the cooling demand as an air conditioning device is low in the case of outside temperatures which are only slightly higher than the desired value for the vehicle interior cabin air temperature. The energy consumption and costs are therefore relatively low.
According to an advantageous development, in the system, the heat exchanger which can be operated as a condenser or as a gas cooler is operated in such a way that it can be switched to an evaporator, and the further heat exchanger which can be operated as an evaporator is operated in such a way that it can be switched to a condenser or a gas cooler. The heat exchanger can thus be used not only as an air conditioning system when the system is in operation, but also as a heat pump in the refrigerant circuit when in operation. Therefore, substantially the same refrigerant circulation circuit can be used for the refrigerant operation and the heat pump operation, or substantially the same components can be used in the refrigerant circulation circuit.
Preferably, the device comprises a further heat accumulator having a phase change material as a cold accumulator, which is thermally or thermally couplable to a low-pressure region of a refrigerant circuit which can be used for operating the air conditioning device. In this way, in conjunction with the adjustable compressor capacity, the device can be adjusted particularly well and in particular at partial load conditions with high efficiency even in air-conditioning operation.
According to one advantageous embodiment of the system, the ratio of the heat storage capacity in kWh to the maximum system power in kW of each of the two heat accumulators lies in the range from 1% to 20%. In this range, the heat accumulator is not too large, but a significant improvement in efficiency can nevertheless be achieved, in particular in partial-load operation of the plant, wherein it is particularly advantageous for the ratio to be in the range from 4% to 10%.
For a device provided for heating and cooling the air of and/or in the passenger compartment of an electric or hybrid vehicle for passenger transport, it is advantageous for the heat storage capacity of each of the two heat accumulators to be in the range of more than 0.5kWh up to 1.5kWh (including the boundary values). Thus, there is sufficient heat storage capacity for such a device without requiring excessive space.
For the provision of a device for heating and cooling the air for and/or in the driver's seat region of the vehicle interior, it is advantageous, however, for the heat storage capacity of each of the two heat accumulators to be in the range of only 0.1kWh to 0.5kWh (including the limit values). For such small installations with a relatively small space requirement, there is nevertheless sufficient heat storage capacity for effective regulation, in particular in the case of partial-load operation.
According to one advantageous development of the device, the device comprises a control device which is designed such that, during operation of the heat pump, the device can be controlled such that, the lower the heat demand, the power of the at least one compressor is reduced predominantly and the heat stored in the heat accumulator is released in a regulated manner to meet the heat demand for heating the air for and/or in at least one part of the vehicle interior. The operation of the system with a heat accumulator is thus particularly efficient and thus energy-saving even in the case of low heat demand. It is also advantageous if the control device is also designed such that, during operation of the air conditioning system, the control device can be used to control the system such that the lower the cooling demand, the lower the power of the at least one compressor is reduced and the cold stored in the further heat accumulator is released in a controlled manner to meet the cooling demand for cooling the air for and/or in at least part of the vehicle interior.
Advantageously, the control device of the system is designed such that, during operation of the heat pump, the system can be controlled by means of the control device such that the power level of the at least one compressor and the length of the relative switch-on time are inversely, preferably inversely, related to the level of the external temperature. The device is thus particularly efficient and thus energy-saving in heating operation. In a further development of the invention, the control device of the device is designed such that, in the operation of the air conditioning system, the device can be controlled by means of the control device such that the power level and the length of the relative on-time of the at least one compressor are in a co-directional, preferably proportional, relationship with the level of the outside temperature. The device is thus particularly efficient and thus energy-saving in cooling operation.
The relative on-time of the compressor is the ratio of the time the compressor is on to the total time formed by the sum of the on-time and the time the compressor is off.
According to one advantageous embodiment of the device, the control device is designed such that the high pressure of the refrigerant in the high-pressure region of the refrigerant circuit can be set by the refrigerant being transferred into or out of the storage volume of the refrigerant and/or into or out of the region of the refrigerant circuit which is not used at the moment. This regulation possibility of high voltages is stepless and uncomplicated. By means of this, the mass of the refrigerant in the operating refrigerant circuit can be set variably, so that the high pressure in the high-pressure region can be set particularly well to a desired pressure value. A particularly advantageous embodiment of the device is the adjustability of the transfer of the refrigerant into or out of the condenser or gas cooler region of one of the heat exchangers which is not used at the moment in the refrigerant circuit. In this way, the refrigerant storage space which is not conventionally used at all is made available in a simple manner. Therefore, additional refrigerant storage is not possible in terms of space saving for refrigerant transfer.
The control device of the system is preferably designed such that, when the heat pump is in operation, the system can be controlled by means of the control device such that the lower the heat demand, the lower the compressor capacity is firstly reduced and the higher the pressure of the refrigerant in the high-pressure region of the refrigerant circuit is secondly reduced. Thereby, an energy-saving operation of the device is achieved even when the heat demand is low. As long as the heat requirement is not too low, the efficiency of regulating the compressor power is generally higher than the regulation of the high pressure by refrigerant transfer. Accordingly, a device having a control device designed in such a way is also advantageous, by means of which the device is controlled during operation of the air conditioning system in such a way that the lower the cooling demand, the lower the compressor capacity is firstly reduced and the higher the pressure of the refrigerant in the high-pressure region of the refrigerant circuit is secondly reduced. Thereby, an energy-saving operation of the device is achieved even when the cooling demand is low.
Finally, the features of the embodiments of the device according to the invention are basically freely combinable with each other and in a manner not dictated by the order, as long as they are mutually uncorrelated and not mutually exclusive.
The problem on which the device according to the invention is based is solved in the context of an electric or hybrid vehicle by means of an electric or hybrid vehicle comprising the device according to the invention. With regard to the advantageous embodiments and modifications and their advantages, reference is made to the corresponding statements made above with regard to the device according to the invention.
The corresponding problem with the method is solved by a method for controlling a device according to the invention for heating or cooling at least a part of the air of a vehicle interior for an electric or hybrid vehicle and/or the air in at least a part of the vehicle interior, wherein the compressor power is regulated as a function of the heating or cooling demand, and the heat stored or the cold stored in at least one heat accumulator is released in a regulated manner for heating or cooling in order to regulate the compressor power as a function of the heating or cooling demand, cumulatively or alternately, the high pressure of the refrigerant in the high-pressure region of the refrigerant circuit is regulated in order to regulate the compressor power as a function of the heating or cooling demand, wherein the high pressure is reduced by a pressure value which is adjustable in the range of up to 50% of the design high Pressure (PS) or in a subrange thereof compared to a pressure value of the non-reduced high pressure A pressure value, and a pressure value of the high pressure of the refrigerant is higher than an evaporation pressure at 20 ℃.
By means of this method, the device can be controlled and operated efficiently, in particular in partial load operation. As a result, the energy consumption and thus the costs are low, in particular when the device is operated at partial load. Therefore, the battery of the electric vehicle is subjected to only a small load. Furthermore, the following risks can be reduced by means of the method: the compressor runs at too low a power or must be clocked too frequently and may thus be damaged.
Preferably, in the method according to the invention, firstly the compressor output is regulated and secondly the stored heat or the stored cold in the at least one heat accumulator is released in a regulated manner for heating or cooling as a function of the heating or cooling demand, and/or secondly the high pressure of the refrigerant in the high pressure region of the refrigerant circuit is regulated as a function of the heating or cooling demand for regulating the compressor output. By means of this method for controlling the device according to the invention by means of a regenerator and/or a high-pressure regulation, the device can be operated particularly efficiently and thus energy-efficiently even when the heating or cooling demand is low.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the method, in the heat pump operation of the system, the power level of the at least one compressor and the length of the relative on-time are set inversely, preferably inversely, to the level of the external temperature. The device is thereby operated particularly efficiently and thus energy-saving in the heating operation. In the operation of the air conditioning system of the system, a variant of the method in which the power level and the length of the relative on-time of the at least one compressor are set in a manner co-current, preferably proportional, to the level of the outside temperature is correspondingly advantageous.
Preferably, in the method, the compressor power is regulated via the rotational speed or frequency of the compressor and/or via short-circuiting the refrigerant between the cylinders of the compressor by means of an adjustable valve and/or via blocking the suction chamber of the compressor by means of an adjustable valve. These three possibilities of regulation of the compressor power are particularly effective and efficient and less sensitive.
Finally, the features of the embodiments of the method according to the invention can be freely combined with each other and in a manner not dictated by the order, as long as they are not related to each other and are not mutually exclusive.

The device is regulated by means of the control device in such a way that the lower the heat demand, i.e. the higher the outside temperature at which heating by the device is still required, the power of the at least one compressor is primarily reduced and the heat stored in the heat accumulator is released in a regulated manner to meet the heat demand for heating the air for and/or in the vehicle interior. In this case, that is to say in the range of low external temperatures of-15 ℃ to approximately-5 ℃, the power of the device according to the invention is adjusted in a manner adapted to the heat demand, primarily via a change in the compressor rotational speed in the range from 50Hz to 30Hz, so that the rotational speed of the compressor and thus its power are inversely related to the level of the external temperature. Only in the range of higher external temperatures of about-5 ℃ to about 12.5 ℃, the higher the external temperature, the more and more the heating is regulated by the device via releasing the heat stored in the heat accumulator used as heat reservoir. The higher the external temperature, the more important this heating by the regenerator is in comparison with the regulation of the compressor power, i.e. the higher its share, since the continuous reduction of the compressor power by reducing the rotational speed is limited by a minimum of 30 Hz. The relative switch-on time of the compressor and the rotational speed of the compressor up to a minimum of 30Hz are also inversely related to the water at the outside temperature, until finally in the outside temperature range of approximately 10 ℃ to approximately 12.5 ℃, the heat accumulator of the device serving as a heat reservoir takes up approximately completely the heating of the air in the vehicle interior, and the compressor of the refrigerant circuit is switched on only very rarely for a brief time at the minimum rotational speed of 30 Hz. That is to say, the power and the relative on-time of the compressor, which are regulated by means of the controller, are approximately inverse to the level of the external temperature in the heat pump operation of the device.
In the external temperature range of approximately 12.5 ℃ to 35 ℃, the device according to the invention is no longer switched on to the heat pump operation but to the air conditioning device operation to cool the air for and/or in the vehicle interior. The control device controls the device such that the lower the cooling demand, the lower the power of the compressor is, the more the cooling demand is, and the more the cold stored in the other heat accumulator thermally coupled to the low-pressure region of the refrigerant circuit is released in a regulated manner to meet the cooling demand for cooling the air for and/or in the vehicle interior. In this case, that is to say in the range of high external temperatures from 35 ℃ down to about 28 ℃, the power of the device according to the invention is adjusted in a manner adapted to the cooling demand, primarily via a change in the rotational speed of the compressor in the range from 50Hz to 30Hz, so that the rotational speed of the compressor and thus its power are in a homodromous relationship with the level of the external temperature. Only in the range of lower external temperatures of about 28 ℃ to about 12.5 ℃, the lower the external temperature, the more and more the cooling is regulated by the device via the release of cold stored in another heat accumulator serving as a cold accumulator. The lower the external temperature, the more important this secondary cooling by the further regenerator becomes in relation to the regulation of the compressor power, i.e. its share increases, since the continuous reduction of the compressor power by reducing the rotational speed is limited by a minimum of 30 Hz. The relative switch-on time of the compressor and the rotational speed of the compressor up to a minimum of 30Hz continue to be in a congruent, i.e. approximately proportional, relationship with the level of the outside temperature until, finally, in the outside temperature range of approximately 15 ℃ down to approximately 12.5 ℃, the further heat accumulator of the device, which serves as a cold accumulator, approximately completely takes over the cooling of the air of the vehicle interior, and the compressor of the refrigerant circuit is switched on only very rarely for a brief time at the minimum rotational speed of 30 Hz. That is to say, the power and the relative on-time of the compressor, which are set by means of the control unit, are approximately proportional to the level of the outside temperature during the operation of the air conditioning system of the system.

The exemplary embodiment of device 1 shown in fig. 3 is provided for an electric or hybrid vehicle, such as in particular an electric bus or a hybrid bus. However, the design of the device 1 for a rail vehicle having an electric drive can also be considered.

Fig. 4 shows an electric or hybrid vehicle 71 as an electric or hybrid bus with an exemplary embodiment of a device 1 according to the invention for heating and cooling the air for and/or in the passenger region and the driver's seat region of a vehicle interior 73.
Fig. 5 shows a flow chart of a method for controlling the exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention shown in fig. 1 for heating or cooling air for at least a part of a vehicle interior of an electric or hybrid vehicle and/or air in at least a part of the vehicle interior. In a first method step 100, a heating or cooling requirement is determined. To this end, the control device for the apparatus receives the value of the current outside temperature, i.e. the value of the ambient temperature, from an outside temperature sensor of the vehicle. Furthermore, the control device for the apparatus receives the temperature of the part of the vehicle interior to be heated or cooled, for example the air in the passenger compartment. The control device determines the heating or cooling requirement depending on a desired value of the temperature in the part of the vehicle interior to be tempered, which is preset for the control device. If no cooling or heating requirement is determined, i.e. "no" in step 105, the method is restarted. In the other case, i.e., "yes" in step 105, when there is a cooling demand, i.e., "K", the control means sets the equipment to air conditioning equipment operation in the next step 110, and when there is a heating demand, i.e., "H", the control means sets the equipment to heat pump operation. In the operation of the air conditioning system, the heat exchanger arranged in the low-pressure region of the refrigerant circuit is used primarily as an evaporator in the refrigerant circuit of the system for cooling the coolant in the secondary cooling circuit in order to cool the air for and/or in at least one part of the vehicle interior. The secondary heating circuit of the device is either switched off or only the heat of the refrigerant is conducted away to the outside, for example via its own outside air heat exchanger. In method step 120, the power of the compressor of the refrigerant circuit of the device is regulated by the control device. The power level of the compressor is here in a co-directional relationship with the level of the outside temperature or proportional to the level of the difference of the outside temperature exceeding the desired value of the air temperature in the vehicle interior compartment. That is, when the outside temperature is very high, the power of the compressor is set high. When the rotational speed of the compressor is set, the compressor is then operated at a maximum rotational speed of, for example, 50 Hz. In other types of regulation of the compressor power, such as via short-circuiting the refrigerant between the cylinders of the compressor by means of an adjustable valve and/or via blocking the suction chamber of the compressor by means of an adjustable valve, it is possible to correspondingly regulate the compressor to full power when the external temperature is very high. The lower the external temperature, i.e. the lower the cooling demand, the lower the power of the compressor, for example its rotational speed, is set in method step 120. The cooling power of the device is thereby lower, or at least the increased cooling power in the device, which is conventionally based on a higher cooling efficiency due to the lower external temperature, is compensated thereby. However, the lower the cooling requirement, the less efficient the power of the plant can be adjusted and the increased risk of damage to the compressor can be accompanied only by a reduction in the power of the compressor. When the power of the compressor is adjusted via the rotational speed of the compressor, there is a minimum value of the rotational speed to be set, for example 30 Hz. The lower the cooling requirement, the less effective is an additional compressor-side-only regulation via the relative on-time of the compressor. In step 130, the control determines, based on the cooling demand: for cooling, the secondary cooling by the cold stored in the heat accumulator serving as a cold accumulator is effective or advantageous. If no, the method is restarted, and if yes, the control device determines in a subsequent step 140 by receiving measurement data of the heat accumulator acting as a cold accumulator: where there is sufficient cold stored or if there is still sufficient heat storage capacity. In the case of "no", the method is restarted in step 140, wherein then, when it is resumed, the storage of cold in the heat accumulator serving as a cold accumulator is also taken into account. In the case of yes in step 140, the lower the cooling requirement, in a manner regulated by the control device, the more cooling is used in the subsequent step 150, which is of secondary importance with respect to the regulation of the compressor power, by the cold release stored in the heat accumulator serving as a cold storage, regulated by the control device. When the cooling demand is low, the release of the cold stored in the heat accumulator serving as a cold store no longer occurs even cumulatively with the cooling performed via the refrigerant circuit when the conditioned compressor is switched on, but alternates with it, wherein the relative switching-on time of the conditioned compressor becomes smaller and smaller the lower the cooling demand, that is to say the time during which the cooling is performed solely by the cold released from the heat accumulator serving as a cold store becomes longer. The control device is used to regulate the power of the pump for the coolant in the secondary heating circuit, thereby also indirectly regulating the discharge in the heat accumulator of the system, which serves as a cold reservoir. After a time interval of, for example, 1 second, the method is resumed.
If the control device sets the device to heat pump operation in step 110 when there is a heating demand "H", the heat exchanger provided for exchanging heat between the high-pressure region of the refrigerant circuit and the secondary heating circuit is used primarily for heating in the secondary heating circuit in order to heat the air for at least part of the vehicle interior and/or the air in at least part of the vehicle interior. The secondary cooling circuit of the device is either switched off or absorbs the heat of the refrigerant and is used only for cooling, for example, a battery for driving the vehicle and/or for conducting it to the outside. In method step 120A, the output of the compressor of the refrigerant circuit of the system is regulated by the control device. The power level of the compressor is in this case in inverse relation, preferably in inverse relation, to the level of the outside temperature or in codirectional relation to the level of the difference in the outside temperature below the desired value of the temperature of the air in the vehicle interior compartment. That is, when the external temperature is very low, the power of the compressor is set high. When the rotational speed of the compressor is set, the compressor is then operated at a maximum rotational speed of, for example, 50 Hz. In other types of regulation of the compressor power, such as via a refrigerant short-circuit connection between the cylinders of the compressor by means of an adjustable valve and/or via blocking the suction chamber of the compressor by means of an adjustable valve, it is accordingly possible to regulate the compressor to full power when the external temperature is very low. The higher the external temperature, i.e. the lower the heating requirement, the lower the power of the compressor, e.g. its rotational speed, is set in method step 120A. As a result, the heating power of the device is lower, or at least the increased heating power in the device, which is conventionally based on a higher heating efficiency, is compensated for by this. However, the lower the heating requirement, the less efficient the power of the plant in heat pump operation and the increased risk of damage to the compressor can only be accommodated by reducing the power of the compressor. When the power of the compressor is adjusted via the rotational speed of the compressor, there is a minimum value of the rotational speed to be set, for example 30 Hz. The lower the heating requirement, the less effective the regulation, which is carried out only on the compressor side, via the relative on-time of the compressor. In step 130A, the control means determines, from the determined heating demand: for heating, a secondary heating by means of the heat stored in the heat accumulator on the high-pressure region of the refrigerant circuit serving as a heat reservoir and thermally coupled to the device is effective or advantageous. If no, the method is restarted after a certain time interval, and if yes, the control device determines in a subsequent step 140A by receiving measurement data of the heat accumulator acting as heat reservoir: where sufficient heat is stored. In the case of no, the method is restarted in step 140A after a predetermined time interval, wherein then the storage of heat in a heat accumulator serving as a heat reservoir is also taken into account when restarting. In the case of yes in step 140A, the lower the cooling requirement, regulated by the control device, the more cooling is used in step 150 with respect to regulating the compressor power, by releasing the heat stored in the heat accumulator used as heat reservoir, regulated by the control device. When the heating demand is low, the release of the heat stored in the heat accumulator serving as a heat reservoir no longer occurs even cumulatively with, but alternately with, the heating caused via the refrigerant circuit by the heat exchanger operating as a condenser or gas cooler when the conditioned compressor is switched on, wherein the relative switching-on time of the conditioned compressor becomes smaller the lower the heating demand, that is to say the time for heating only by the heat released from the heat accumulator serving as a heat reservoir becomes longer. The regulation of the power of the pump for the heating agent in the secondary heating circuit by the control device also indirectly regulates the release in the heat accumulator of the device, which serves as a heat reservoir. After a time interval of, for example, 1 second, the method is restarted.
Fig. 6 shows a flow chart of a method for controlling the exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention shown in fig. 3 for heating or cooling air for at least a part of a vehicle interior of an electric or hybrid vehicle and/or air in at least a part of the vehicle interior. Method steps 200, 205, 210, 220 and 220A substantially correspond to method steps 100, 105, 110, 120 and 120A described in relation to fig. 5, wherein, however, in this exemplary embodiment, no secondary heating circuit and no secondary cooling circuit are present, but rather the first heat exchanger for tempering the air for and/or in the vehicle interior is a refrigerant-air heat exchanger which directly cools or heats the air depending on whether it is set as an evaporator or a gas cooler in
When the apparatus is set as a thermal air-conditioning apparatus, the control device determines in step 230, according to the cooling demand: for cooling, it is secondarily regulated whether the cooling is effective or advantageous by lowering the high pressure of the low refrigerant in the high pressure region of the refrigerant circulation circuit. If no, the method is restarted after a predetermined time interval, and if yes, the lower the cooling demand, the more the control means in
The high pressure is reduced by regulating the transfer of refrigerant to the first heat exchanger of the device, which is used for cooling the air for the vehicle interior, in the region of the gas cooler which is not used at the time of cooling, just conventionally. For this purpose, the control device controls the valve upstream of the gas cooler region of the first heat exchanger and the further valve downstream of the gas cooler region of the first heat exchanger accordingly. After a time interval of, for example, 1 second, the method is restarted.
When the apparatus is set as a heat pump, the control device determines in
The high pressure is reduced by regulating the transfer of refrigerant into the region of the gas cooler of the apparatus which is not used at the time of heating, and which serves as a second heat exchanger of the outside air heat exchanger. For this purpose, the control device controls the valve upstream of the gas cooler region of the second heat exchanger and the further valve downstream of the gas cooler region of the second heat exchanger accordingly. After a time interval of, for example, 1 second, the method is restarted.
A method for controlling the device according to the invention, which is a combination of the two exemplary embodiments shown in fig. 1 and 3, i.e. having a first adjustable compressor capacity and a heat accumulator which can be coupled to the refrigerant circuit according to the invention and adjusting the high pressure in the high-pressure region of the refrigerant circuit according to the invention by means of refrigerant transfer, can also be considered.
