Technical Field

Background

Rhinitis, an inflammatory disease of the nasal cavity, is inflammation of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity caused by viruses, bacteria, allergens, various physicochemical factors and certain systemic diseases. The main pathological changes of rhinitis are congestion, swelling, exudation, hyperplasia, atrophy or necrosis of the nasal mucosa.

Acute rhinitis usually disappears along with the improvement of diseases, and is less harmful to people, and allergic rhinitis is caused by allergens and can also improve as long as the allergens are isolated. However, chronic rhinitis causes pain to patients for a long time, and western medicine does not have a good treatment method, and generally has two treatment schemes of medicine and operation, wherein the medicine treatment is the medicine treatment comprising:

Fructus xanthil: pungent and bitter taste, warm nature; is toxic. It enters lung meridian. Has the effects of dispelling wind, removing dampness and dredging nasal orifice. Can be used for treating wind-cold headache, nasal sinusitis, watery nasal discharge, rubella, pruritus, and arthralgia due to dampness.

Flos Magnoliae: pungent flavor and warm nature. It enters lung and stomach meridians. Has the effects of dispelling wind and cold and relieving stuffy nose. Can be used for treating headache due to wind-cold evil, nasal obstruction, nasosinusitis, and thick nasal discharge.

Radix angelicae: pungent flavor and warm nature. It enters stomach, large intestine and lung meridians. Has the effects of dispelling wind and eliminating dampness, dredging orifices and relieving pain, and relieving swelling and expelling pus. Can be used for treating common cold, headache, supraorbital bone pain, nasal obstruction, nasosinusitis, toothache, leucorrhea, and pyocutaneous disease with swelling and pain.

Wind prevention: pungent and sweet in flavor and warm in nature. It enters bladder, liver and spleen meridians. Has the effects of relieving exterior syndrome, dispelling pathogenic wind, eliminating dampness and relieving spasm. Can be used for treating common cold, headache, rheumatalgia, rubella, pruritus, and tetanus.

Astragalus root: sweet in flavor and warm in nature. It enters lung and spleen meridians. Has the effects of invigorating qi, consolidating superficial resistance, promoting urination, expelling toxin, expelling pus, healing sore and promoting granulation. Can be used for treating deficiency of vital energy, asthenia, anorexia, loose stool, collapse of middle-warmer energy, chronic diarrhea, rectocele, hematochezia, metrorrhagia, superficial deficiency, spontaneous perspiration, qi deficiency, edema, carbuncle, cellulitis, intractable ulcer, blood deficiency, debility with yellowish complexion, internal heat, and diabetes; proteinuria due to chronic nephritis and diabetes.

Asarum: pungent flavor and warm nature. It enters heart, lung and kidney meridians. Has the effects of expelling wind and cold, promoting the restoration consciousness, relieving pain, warming lung and eliminating fluid retention. Can be used for treating wind-cold type common cold, headache, toothache, nasal obstruction, nasosinusitis, rheumatalgia, phlegm retention, asthma, and cough.

Pig gall powder: bitter taste and cold nature. It enters liver, gallbladder, lung and large intestine meridians. Has the effects of clearing heat, moistening dryness, removing toxic substances, and relieving cough and asthma. Can be used for treating fever, thirst, conjunctival congestion, pharyngitis, jaundice, pertussis, asthma, diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, carbuncle, sore, and toxic swelling.

Centipeda minima: pungent flavor and warm nature. It enters lung and liver meridians. Has the effects of relieving stuffy nose and cough. Can be used for treating headache due to wind-cold evil, cough with excessive phlegm, nasal obstruction, nasosinusitis and watery nasal discharge.

Rhizoma et radix Baphicacanthis Cusiae: bitter taste and cold nature. It enters heart and stomach meridians. Has the effects of clearing away heat and toxic material and cooling blood. Can be used for treating epidemic febrile disease, speckle, and erysipelas; influenza, epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis.

The Huangdi's classic on medicine states that: "Lung qi is passed through nose, lung and nose can tell fragrant smell . "Su Wen & jin Kui Zhen Yan Lun" (plain questions & gold starvation treatise) points out: it opens into the nose and stores essence in the lung. Rhinitis usually refers to hunger, fullness and fatigue, which causes qi deficiency of lung and spleen, failure of lung to descend, failure of spleen to function and retention of pathogenic toxin and damp turbidity to nasal orifices; or the nasal obstruction is aggravated because pathogenic toxin is not remained in the vein and qi and blood are stagnated. Because the nose is the primary channel of respiration, it is the entrance of lung qi, and the functions of nose ventilation and olfaction depend mainly on the action of lung qi, lung qi harmony, smooth respiration and normal olfaction. The nose is the lung orifice and is the first gateway for exogenous pathogenic factors to invade the lung, if exogenous pathogenic factors enter from the mouth and the nose, the lung orifice is unfavorable, and clinically common exogenous pathogenic factors attack the lung, if the cold qi in the lung is not released, the symptoms of nasal obstruction, thin nasal discharge, bad smell and the like are caused; for instance, the lung heat is usually accompanied by yellow nasal discharge, dyspnea and flaring of nasal wings. It is seen that the lung and nasal orifices are closely related, so treatment of nasal lesions must be done from the lung. The traditional Chinese medicine formula disclosed by the invention is convenient to use, quick to absorb, short in treatment course, quick in effect taking, free of toxic and side effects and capable of effectively treating rhinitis. The compatibility of the invention is scientific and accurate according to the principle of monarch, minister, assistant and guide, so as to ensure the effective components of the traditional Chinese medicine to be fully absorbed.

The traditional Chinese medicine formula is simply, conveniently and rapidly prepared by the method, and can be produced in a large scale, so that the traditional Chinese medicine formula can be conveniently applied in a large scale.

adding the mixture in a weight ratio of 2.3: 1, stirring uniformly at the speed of 75r/min to obtain a finished product of the traditional Chinese medicine formula.

Examples of the experiments

150 patients with allergic rhinitis and sinusitis were selected and randomized into 15 groups of 10 patients each, the first 14 groups were treated with the Chinese medicinal formulations prepared in examples 1-14, respectively, and the last group was treated with drop-on rhinitis water (Baiyunshan) (nebulized). Groups 1-14 specific treatment procedures were: the traditional Chinese medicine formula prepared in the embodiment is used for externally applying Neiguan acupoint and Feishu acupoint for 8-10h, once a day, one treatment course is 5 days, and administration treatment lasts for 4 treatment courses; for 15 groups, the nasal spray was applied with rhinitis-treating water, 3 times each for 12 days. The clinical data of the patients were collated and analyzed, and 150 patients were compared among the three criteria of recovery, efficacy and ineffectiveness, and the condition of the patients was recorded, with the results shown in table 1.

As can be seen from Table 1, the treatment effects of groups 1-14 were significantly superior to those of group 15, as compared with groups 1-14 and group 15; the best treatment effect of group 4 can be seen by comparing groups 1-7; comparing groups 8-14, it can be seen that groups 10-14 had the best therapeutic effect; comparing groups 1-7 with groups 8-14, it can be seen that groups 8-10 work better. In addition, the traditional Chinese medicine formula prepared by the application has a remarkable treatment effect on rhinitis, and can effectively treat the rhinitis.

Typical cases are:

1. zhao, 36 years old, with allergic rhinitis for many years, good time and bad time, after 4 treatment courses, allergic rhinitis was treated well, half a year later visits, and rhinitis did not relapse.

2. After 2 treatment courses, the nasosinusitis is cured, and the nasosinusitis is revisited after 3 months, and the nasosinusitis does not relapse.

In conclusion, the invention utilizes the centipeda minima, the cocklebur fruit, the magnolia flower and the angelica dahurica to play the roles of dispelling wind cold, relieving stuffy nose and resisting bacteria and allergy; the divaricate saposhnikovia root has the effects of relieving exterior syndrome and dispelling wind; the astragalus root has the effects of tonifying qi, strengthening exterior, inducing diuresis, relieving swelling, expelling toxin and discharging pus; the asarum has the effects of warming lung and resolving fluid retention; the pig gall powder and the south isatis root have the effects of clearing heat, moistening dryness and detoxifying, removing pathogenic toxin, cooling blood and detoxifying, and promoting recovery of rhinitis, and the wind-cold-dampness pathogenic qi in the lung is removed together by utilizing the synergistic effect of the medicines, so that the effect of curing allergic rhinitis and nasosinusitis is achieved. The compatibility of the invention is scientific and accurate according to the principle of monarch, minister, assistant and guide, so as to ensure the effective components of the traditional Chinese medicine to be fully absorbed. The traditional Chinese medicine formula disclosed by the invention is convenient to use, quick to absorb, short in treatment course, quick in effect taking, free of toxic and side effects and capable of effectively treating rhinitis. The traditional Chinese medicine formula is simply, conveniently and rapidly prepared by the method, and can be produced in a large scale, so that the traditional Chinese medicine formula can be conveniently applied in a large scale. When the traditional Chinese medicine formula prepared by the application is used, the traditional Chinese medicine formula is only required to be externally applied on Neiguan acupoint or Feishu acupoint, rhinitis is treated by external application on the acupoint, the effective components of the medicine can reach the lung through the conduction of channels and collaterals by stimulating the acupoint, the lung orifice is cleared, and pathogenic wind, cold and dampness in the lung is eliminated, so that the autoimmunity is improved, and the disease is completely cured without relapse.
