Background
A gripper is a device that holds an object and thereby manipulates the object. It is capable of gripping and releasing objects while performing certain actions. Sports equipment often imitates the movement of a human body, and in the case of a gripper, the movement of a finger. The clamp mainly has two clamping actions:
external clamping: this is the most common way of gripping objects, which is the simplest and the shortest stroke length required. When the gripper jaws are closed, the clamping force applied by the gripper will grip the object.
Internal clamping: in some applications, it is necessary to clamp the object from the center, either due to the geometry of the object or due to the need to access the outside of the object. In this case, the gripper will grip the object with an expansion force.
The various current holders, one is powered holder, need to provide extra power, increase the cost and be independent, and limited by the power; and secondly, the clamp holder is unpowered, an additional power supply is not required, the material is lifted by virtue of the friction force between the clamp holder and the material, the clamp holder is large in appearance and large in occupied space during operation.
