Background

Hemorrhoids are a common disease in the anal area and are soft venous pockets formed by the dilatation and flexion of the submucosal plexus at the end of the rectum and the subclavian skin. The etiology and pathogenesis of the hemorrhoids are various, wherein the main cause of the hemorrhoids is long standing or long sitting, or long-time weight bearing walking, or long-term constipation, which affects pelvic cavity vein reflux, makes the blood flow in the pelvic cavity slow and corresponding organs congestion, causes hemorrhoid vein overfilling, vein wall tension reduction and further blood stasis expansion. The common treatment methods of the western medicine for the hemorrhoids include operation treatment, ultralow temperature and ultrahigh temperature treatment, ligation and injection treatment and the like.
