1. A device (10, 40) for packaging two products (A, B) separately and dispensing the resulting mixture (M) at the first use,

the device (10, 40) comprises: a lower container (12, 42) defining a first product chamber (22, 52) containing a first product (A); and an upper container (14, 44) defining a second product chamber (24c, 54c) containing a second product (B), the containers (12, 42; 14, 44) being rotatable one relative to the other without moving axially,

wherein said device (10, 40) further comprises a temporary closure member (30) configured for closing the open end (24b, 54b) of the upper container (14, 44) prior to the first use and comprising a cylindrical skirt (32) surrounding said open end (24b, 54b) and a plug (34) connected to said cylindrical skirt (32), said cylindrical skirt (32) being provided on its inner cylindrical surface with an inner thread (32a) cooperating with an outer thread (24e) provided on the upper container (14, 44) and on its outer cylindrical surface with first anti-rotation means (32b) cooperating with second anti-rotation means (18d, 48d) provided on the lower container (12, 42) for preventing the closure member (30) from interacting with the lower container (12, 42) and the device is characterized in that,

the closure member (30) is free of any axial retention members with both containers (12, 42; 14, 44) such that when the upper container (14, 44) is rotated in a first rotational direction (F1, F1'), the closure member translates downwardly until falling into the first product cavity (22, 52).

The device (10, 40) according to claim 1, wherein the closure member (30) comprises a bridge (34B) of hinge-forming material connecting the plug (34) to the cylindrical skirt (32) and at least one connection (34c) of breakable material, such that when the upper container (14, 44) is rotated in a second rotational direction (F2 ') opposite to the first rotational direction (F1'), the closure member is translated upwardly until the breakable connection (34c) is broken by a force, causing the plug (34) to pivot about the bridge (34B) of hinge-forming material between a first position in which the open end (24B, 54B) is closed to a second position in which the open end (24B, 54B) is open, such that the second product (B) flows to the first product cavity (22) of the lower container (12, 42), 52).

3. Device (10, 40) according to claim 2, wherein the closure member (30) comprises a plurality of connections (34c) of frangible material regularly spaced over the circumference of the plug (34).

4. Device (10, 40) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the closing member (30) comprises at least one axially protruding block (34d) provided on the lower surface of the plug (34).

5. Device (10, 40) according to claim 4, wherein the closing member (30) comprises a plurality of axially protruding blocks (34d) provided on the lower surface of the plug (34).

6. The device (10, 40) according to claim 5, wherein the blocks (34d) are disposed on a diameter of the plug (34) that is substantially equal to a diameter of the open end (24b, 54 b).

7. The device (10, 40) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the plug (34) comprises an annular sealing lip (34a) on an upper surface thereof, configured for sealingly closing the open end (24b, 54b) of the upper container (14, 44).

8. Device (10, 40) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the annular sealing lip (34a) is provided with an annular groove (34 e).

9. Device (10, 40) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the upper container (14, 44) is provided with an annular axial sealing lip (28) configured to tightly abut against a radially inner surface of the lower container (12, 42), thereby providing a seal between the lower container (12) and the upper container (14).

10. Device (10, 40) according to claim 9, wherein the annular sealing lip (28) of the upper container (14, 44) is provided with an external annular groove (28 a).

A device (10, 40) according to any of the preceding claims wherein the upper container (14, 44) comprises an upper portion opposite the open lower end (24b, 54b) and having a dispensing frangible end piece (24a, 54a) designed to break upon first use of said device so as to open a first dispensing orifice (24d, 54d) in flow communication with the second product chamber (24c, 54 c).

12. Device (40) according to claim 11, wherein the upper container comprises a plurality of application teeth (55a), and wherein the frangible end piece (54a) is located between said application teeth (55a) and provides access to a second dispensing orifice (55b) communicating with the first dispensing orifice (54 d).

The device (10, 40) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the lower container (12, 42) is manufactured by an injection blow molding process such that the second anti-rotation means (18d, 48d) is directly manufactured during the injection blow molding process of the lower container (12, 42).

14. Device (10, 40) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the first anti-rotation means (32b) are longitudinal ribs provided on the outer cylindrical surface of the cylindrical skirt (32), said longitudinal ribs (32b) cooperating with inner longitudinal ribs (18d, 48d) provided on the inner surface of the lower container (12, 42).
