Background

The self-adhesive polymer modified asphalt waterproof coiled material is a novel waterproof material with great development prospect. Has grown up just at home and abroad, and the method is not popular. The coiled material has the characteristics of good impermeability, low-temperature flexibility, deformation resistance, self-healing property and the like, is easy to construct, and can improve the laying speed and accelerate the project progress. The success of waterproofing depends not only on its own quality but also is closely related to the adhesive sealing of the roll and the roof.

The self-adhesive modified asphalt tackifier is an important raw material for producing modified asphalt waterproof coiled materials. The tackifier is added into the modified asphalt to wet the adhered surface through surface diffusion or internal diffusion, so that the adhesive strength between the modified asphalt and the adhered material is improved. The tackifier is mainly rosin, terpene resin, petroleum resin, etc. In recent years, petroleum resins have been increasingly replacing natural resin tackifiers (rosin and terpene resins) because of their characteristics of high peel adhesion strength, good quick adhesion, stable adhesion, moderate melt viscosity, good heat resistance, good compatibility with high polymer matrices, and low cost. However, petroleum resins have the disadvantages of high brittleness, poor film-forming properties, lack of polar groups in structure, and the like, thereby limiting the wide application of the petroleum resins in the field of modified asphalt.
