When dyeing with the dye mixtures according to the invention, the dye mixtures are dispersed in the usual manner in an aqueous medium by means of dispersants and wetting agents to prepare printing pastes for dyebaths or textile printing.

Accordingly, an aqueous solution for dyeing comprising the above dye mixture also constitutes an aspect of the present invention. And the use of the above-mentioned dye mixtures and/or the above-mentioned aqueous solutions for dyeing fibers and blends of these fibers, which fibers are selected from: synthetic fibers: nylon, nylon-6, nylon-6.6, and aramid fibers; plant fiber: seed fiber, cotton, organic cotton, kapok, coir from coconut shells, bast fiber, flax, hemp, jute, kenaf, ramie, rattan, leaf fiber, sisal, agave, banana, stem fiber, bamboo; fibers from animals: wool, organic wool, silk, cashmere wool, alpaca fiber, mohair, angora fiber, and fur and leather materials; man-made, regenerated and recycled fibers: cellulose fibres, paper fibres, cellulose regenerated fibres, viscose rayon fibres, acetate and triacetate fibres and lyocell fibres.

Typical examples of dispersants are lignosulphonates, naphthalenesulphonic acid/formaldehyde condensates and phenol/cresol/p-aminobenzenesulphonic acid/formaldehyde condensates, typical examples of wetting agents are alkylaryl ethoxylates which may be sulphonated or phosphated, and typical examples of other ingredients which may be present are inorganic salts, dedusting agents such as mineral oil or nonanols, organic liquids and buffers. The amount of the dispersant can be 30-500% of the weight of the dye mixture. The amount of the dedusting agent can be 0-5% of the weight of the dye mixture.

For example, in the case of dyeing polyester fibers and fiber mixture products such as blended yarn fabrics of cotton warp and weft regenerated pile fabrics (unity weft products) containing polyester fibers, good color fastness can be obtained by dyeing by ordinary dyeing methods such as high-temperature dyeing, carrier dyeing and thermosol dyeing. In some cases, the addition of acidic substances to the dye bath may make the dyeing even more successful.

Suitable process conditions may be the following:

(i) dip dyeing: dip-dyeing at the pH of 4-8.5 and the temperature of 125-140 ℃ for 10-120 min, and adding a chelating agent under the pressure of 1-2 bar as required;

(ii) and (3) continuous dyeing: continuously dyeing for 15sec to 5min at the pH of 4 to 8.5 and the temperature of 190 to 225 ℃, and adding a migration inhibitor according to needs;

(iii) and (3) direct printing: steaming at the high temperature of 160-185 ℃ for 4-15 min at the pH of 4-6.5, or performing dry heat baking fixation for 15 sec-5 min at the temperature of 190-225 ℃, or performing pressure steaming at the temperature of 120-140 ℃ for 10-45 min at the pressure of 1-2 bar, and optionally adding a wetting agent and a thickening agent (such as alginate) which account for 5-100% of the weight of the dye;

(iv) discharge printing: discharge printing (padding a dye on a textile material, drying and overprinting) at the pH of 4-6.5, and adding a migration inhibitor and a thickening agent as required;

(v) and (3) dyeing the carrier: carrying out carrier dyeing by using a dyeing carrier such as methylnaphthalene, diphenylamine or 2-phenylphenol at the pH of 4-7.5 and the temperature of 95-100 ℃, and optionally adding a chelating agent; and

(vi) dyeing under normal pressure: and dyeing the acetate fiber, the triacetate fiber and the nylon at the pH of 4-7.5 under normal pressure for 15-90 min, wherein the dyeing temperature of the acetate fiber is about 85 ℃, the dyeing temperature of the triacetate fiber and the nylon is about 90 ℃, and a chelating agent can be added if necessary.

In all the above processes, the dye mixture is applied in the form of a dispersion comprising 0.001 to 20 wt.%, preferably 0.005 to 16 wt.%, in an aqueous medium, of the dye mixture according to the invention.

In addition to the application processes described above, the dye mixtures can also be applied to synthetic textile materials and fiber blend fabrics by ink-jet printing, the substrate (substrate) being optionally pretreated to assist printing.

Another aspect of the present invention is an ink for digital textile printing comprising the above dye mixture.

In inkjet applications, the application medium may comprise water and a water-soluble organic solvent, preferably in a mass ratio of 1:99 to 99:1, more preferably 1:95 to 50:50, especially 10:90 to 40: 60. Preferably, the water-soluble organic solvent may be C1-C4-alkanols, in particular methanol or ethanol; a ketone, in particular acetone or methyl ethyl ketone, 2-pyrrolidone or N-methylpyrrolidone; a diol, especially ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, trimethylene glycol, butane-2, 3-diol, thiodiglycol or diethylene glycol; a glycol ether, in particular ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, propylene glycol monomethyl ether or diethylene glycol monomethyl ether; urea; a sulfone, especially bis- (2-hydroxyethyl) sulfone; or mixtures thereof.

The dyes can also be applied to textile materials using supercritical carbon dioxide, in which case the dye formulation can optionally be omitted.

Preferably, the synthetic textile material is selected from aromatic polyesters, in particular from polyethylene terephthalate, polyamides, in particular polyhexamethylene adipamide, cellulose diacetate, cellulose triacetate; natural textile materials, in particular selected from cellulosic materials and wool. Particularly preferably, the textile material is an aromatic polyester or a fiber blend thereof with any of the above textile materials. Particularly preferred fiber blend fabrics include polyester-cellulosic fiber blend fabrics, such as polyester-cotton and polyester-wool. The textile material or its blend may be in the form of filaments, loose fibres, yarns or woven or knitted fabrics.

In particular, among polyester fibers, not only ordinary polyester fibers (conventional denier fibers) but also microfibers (fine denier fibers, which are less than 0.6 denier) can be successfully dyed with the dye mixture of the present invention.

In general, all kinds of fibres can be dyed, so that fibres and blend fibres containing such fibres, which are selected from the following group, comprise the above-mentioned dye mixtures chemically and/or physically bound: synthetic fiber material: nylon-6, nylon-6.6, and aramid fibers; plant fiber: seed fibers, cotton, organic cotton, kapok, coir from coconut shells, bast fibers, flax, hemp, jute, kenaf, ramie, rattan, leaf fibers, sisal, agave, bananas, straw fibers, bamboo; fibers from animals: wool, organic wool, silk, cashmere wool, alpaca fiber, mohair, angora fiber, and fur and leather materials; man-made, regenerated and recycled fibers: cellulosic fibres, paper fibres, cellulose regenerated fibres, viscose rayon fibres, acetate and triacetate fibres and lyocell fibres form a further aspect of the invention.
