Grapholitha molesta (Busck), an insect of the genus Grapholitha of the family Tolydidae, is a species. The oriental fruit moth tries one of the important pests of northern fruit trees, the host of the oriental fruit moth comprises various kernel fruits and stone fruit trees such as pears, peaches, apples, nectarines, cherries and the like, the oriental fruit moth has a plurality of generations in one year, the generations are seriously overlapped, the boring property of the larva and the diversity of the host bring great difficulty to prevention and control, the large-area occurrence of the oriental fruit moth is caused by the adjustment of the industrial structure and the increase of the planting area of the fruit trees, the rising trend is generated, and the quality and the yield of the fruit trees are seriously influenced.

On the basis, the invention also discloses a lure based on the attractant and a preparation method thereof. The attractant disclosed by the invention has a remarkable attracting effect on the oriental fruit moth imagoes, and can be used for monitoring the occurrence dynamics of the oriental fruit moth in the field and guiding chemical control, or directly controlling the oriental fruit moth by a mass attracting and killing method.

The attractant and lure referred to in the above patent; the lure core is selected from a rubber plug, a capillary tube and a plastic centrifuge tube; most of the current attractants are matched with a lure core for use, and the lure core is arranged in the trap.
