Background

However, the plastic used to make plastic straw is made of high molecular weight synthetic resin, which has no way of natural decomposition, and the dirt remained after using plastic straw is difficult to clean, the treatment cost is high, and it is relatively difficult to recycle, although it can be thrown into incinerator and general combustible garbage for treatment, the residue remained after incineration, and the disposal of waste smoke discharged during incineration are also a big problem at present.
Therefore, in order to overcome the problem of environmental pollution caused by disposable straws, two types of reusable environment-friendly straws and environment-friendly disposable straws are gradually developed. Most of the reusable environment-friendly straws are made of bamboo, medical steel or glass and the like, but the medical steel or glass straws are high in manufacturing cost, narrow in hollow parts, difficult to deeply clean and prone to breeding bacteria for a long time, and influence on body health.
The environment-friendly disposable straw is made of materials such as paper or bagasse granulation, but the cost of the paper straw is 10 times higher than that of a plastic straw, and the paper straw is softened when meeting carbonated beverages and has low durability. Although the bagasse granulation straw is low in cost and can be decomposed, the bagasse granulation straw contains polylactic acid (PLA), and the polylactic acid must be decomposed through special treatment of the bagasse granulation straw, so that more resources are consumed in the treatment of the bagasse granulation straw, and the environmental protection value of the bagasse granulation straw is questioned.
